I think I quite like the application. Is there one for text messaging as well? Would be better if you would be able to receive phone calls using the application as well
I would like to have VoIP on my phone with WM 6.0
Would this work? And is this best application for internet calls?

Hi,
I am really new to Windows Messenger on the PC but a couple of friends use it and we had a video link over Xmas which was great. It dawned on me that the Exec would be great for this instead of the PC as it has everything needed (ie camera and mic) built in. However, when I got it working with MSN Messenger I found I could only do text messaging. Is this correct and if so is there any way round it? It seems rather stupid to have all the hardware but not be able to achieve this.
Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a stupid question
Simon
as far as i aware it is not yet possible to have a "webcam chat" over mobile messenger.....as for the mic.....windows live mobile messenger will let you send voice clips to people. i have found this to be very usefull.

Hy everybody.
In a previous life (I mean before having purchased a Trinity), I used to have a Typhoon (alias Orange SPV C500) smartphone.
One feature I really appreciated on my Typhoon was the ability to automatically switch in "silent mode" everytime a meeting starts in the Calendar.
I did not find the equivalent feature in my Trinity.
Does this mean that Microsoft withdrew this functionality between WM 2003 SE and WM5 ?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards.
Leinad.
Try SPB Phone Suite
I was not aware that such functionality exists in standard WM5 of 2003, however you can use an application like PocketZenPhone ( zendrui.free.fr ).
I'm using PhoneWeaver 1.0 to do this.

PhoneAlarm can do this as well
I used this until I got Phone Alarm:

Hallo to everybody.
I am a happy owner of a MDA Vario that changed my life (i guess i'll never go back to mobile phones ).
So, with googleling and the help of your posts i am really satisfied of the HTC i costumized and have here now.
Looking at the tons of features the only one i never found around was the possibility to dictate voice to txt SMS.
Typically while driving would be userful
I saw the Microsoft sw but only helps to send voice mails or mms. But no speech to txt. There is a sw that is a client and uses a server (internet side) to make the real translation but is an idiot idea (here in italy GPRS or UMTS traffic is quite expensive). I saw that a samsung cell has this feature.
Possible that all my googleling missed something?
Ciao to everybody!

Sorry for my bad written english
I have an account at smsbug.com for sending international SMS through internet. I like this service because the SMS is sent with my phone number as sender. Thus my correspondant can make a normal reply to have a conversation with me.
My problem is that I used the application IPSMS on my Tytn II and this application does not work on my TP2.
The smsbug application neither.
Anyone knows an application working on the HTC TP2 for using this service ?
thanks for replying.
Seems the developer is working on it... Right here on XDA!
