Hi, I'm a new user of BA with WM6.1 rom (xplode).
Are there any applications that can make my camera to do the digital zoom?
When I was using symbian based phone, there's something like that, that can make Nokia 3650 or something to have a zoom compatibility.
anyone knows?
Thanks

Hello,
I'm wondering if there is any API (and associated documentation) for programming the camera on the XDA mini. I was hoping to try porting some barcode recognition software onto the Pocket PC that could take advantage of the camera of the mini.
I tried Camera Capture sample from Windows Mobile 5.0 SDK and
I can access big camera, but I can't get image from small one.
I tried "CAM2:" as camera name, tried FindNextDevice() - it doesn't work.
Does anybody know how to access second camera?
Undocumented interface?
Registry setting?

i'm also interrested about this info.
I am also interested:Nobody knows how to use the second camera for the skype or messenger you have installed in you HTC Universal, not as webcam for desktop computer.
*Bump*
I've searched through the forum and unfortunately haven't found any DirectShow solutions to access the front camera of the HTC Universal (or TyTN). Only thing I found was some low level .dll hacking.
If anybody has found a way to access the second capture device (front camera), please share.
Thanks in advance
I don't know how to access second camera.
But I know that CoolCamera can use the second camera to take pictures, and also as a webcam for desktop computer
Hi
Is anyone aware of a an API or better a wrapper for the Camera Functions?
The Integration of the Camera that comes with CF2.0 WIndows Mobile 5 SDK is not what I'm looking for because it still needs the user click to capture a photo.
I want to take photos every now and then when I'm not with my PDA
Anyhelp or hints is highly Appreciated! a HTC only solution would also do the job for me.

Hi
I found something nice - it is even with a C# Sample.
http://blogs.msdn.com/marcpe/archive/2006/03/03/542941.aspx?CommentPosted=true#commentmessage
And it works - tested on a breeze and a wizzard.
Only problem I'm to stupid to change the resolution.

How about this:

I just recently got a TyTn which i'm using on the US T-Mobile network. Since its not 3G i cannot even test the camera or preview it so to speak.
I searched the forum but could not find anything so far. I'm pretty sure its possible, but not sure.
Can we used this camera as a camera or for that matter use it for video over a 3rd party video conf sofware over data/internet.
I look forward to hearing all of your thoughts/idea's on this.
Thanks
The only programs I know of are CoolCamera and WebCamera from http://www.ateksoft.com/
Coolcamera is pretty much just a new front end for the camera which allows you to tweak more settings, plus lets you use the front camera for photos.
WebCamera lets you use the front/rear cameras as a webcam for things like msn through your pc.
is there any windows mobile app that can use the built in camera to take 360 degrees panoramic pictures ?
i've been searching for the same thing for a looong time.
there is Panoman for Symbian (am using it on my N73, veeery fast and powerful) but nothing for Windows Mobile
for something as smart as windows mobile device i thought there should be atleast one good working program to take panoramic pictures. yes, I do realize that there can be many compatibility issues with wm6.1 just like with cool camera. I think you can enable panoramic view in htc diamond right ? so what can diamond's camera do and magician's can't since they pretty much share the same os ?
well, the Diamond has a 3.2 Mp camera. it would be nice to have a Panoramic camera app for the Magician also.
maybe someone can modify the Diamond camera app for the Magician maybe...
or maybe even a separate app tro stitch a set a photos to form a panoramic view
