Manilla 3d ROM? - Touch Cruise ROM Development

Hi!
I have seen this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfqA4zO1f6I
and would like to know where can this be downloaded from... all ROM available here have manila 2d. Where to get this one?
Thanks

As you can see here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq5p_zYD4rg&feature=related there is actually on rom from itje which has the TF3D but its only for test.
You can add TF3D on uour device with a cab too see here >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=450556

Where can we get the cab for TF3D APPLICATION TO TEST THIS

I wouldnt suggest it, its resource hungry, the graphics are pixelated and blurry, and some things just dont work properly.
Chainfire hasnt released anything new in a couple of months, so i think development is in limbo, not dead...but not progressing.
M2D is basically the same anyway....
Oh and it eats through the battery.
ITJE did release a rom, i think it was mentioned above, and if you search the Development forum youll find the cab.

Manila2D on Blueangel ?

i just test Manila 2D (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=398173&page=110)
it doesn´t work on my Blueangel (latest xplode beta rom)
does any version work for you ?
if yes, please post manila 2d version and rom version
it is not working on devices that do not support touchflo, currently BA and himalaya and i think prophet, all other have ported touch.dll (touchscreen driver) which is compatible with touchflo
Thats why it does not work on non htc devices either

do you think that it might be possible to make Manila2D point towards Ftouchflo instead of the actual touch.dll?

check the recent posts, manila now works
so far slows booting (around 5 minutes) after complete startup it is fast and stable, also i will publish my edition of cabs because in herg's thread there are too many crapware which is not needed for manila
Do you have a link for this?

Manila 2D first post
Works much faster if you load the 2d manila cab first then patch followed by the other programs than the sequence described in the installation read me.
sun_dream's rom can install, trust me...
i am using

Using your 'patched' Taskmanager, Album and Audio with herg's #15 + #16 +#1(common dlls) works fine for me on Blueangel and my Atom, Saved 13MB of space!!!
Thanx for optimising it so much.
well thanks, this is the way it should be
I think xplode is right here, I also would like to say the same.

I'm using your cabs on Helmi's WM6 with Evil3000's German Language Patch applied and couldn't notice any significant speed hits on my BA. Boot-up is slowed down by no more than ten seconds. Excellent work, xplode, thank you very much for your excellent work.
well my first test cabs slowed down the device, but after this post i made a huge progress
any way to get touchflo 3D working ?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=430718
installation take 2h, and after soft resett my BA was unable to start.
keeps hanging in bootloader.
i had to hard resett.
well touchflo 3d may work in near future but it slows down the device a lot

Actually, it doesn't hang the device, it just makes it ungodly slow. It actually takes close to 1 hour for the device to get past bootloader (yes, I waited that long )
But after that, it just gets stuck in the "Tap Here to Start TF3D" and "Launching TF3D"
It looks like M2D all over again, which tells me that there might be a similar set of issues with this port as there were with M2D. In other words, the reason for this thing not starting up is probably the same as for M2D... just a thought though

Doh, I just tried to install m2d from the main development thread (v20). Took a while to install and when I did a reset it just stayed at the 4 color bars screen. I assumed it was dead and did a hard-reset. Didn't think to let it sit that way for an hour! lol
Going to try and install this xPlode version now.
I'm a little confused as to the versions though. Are we only supposed to install the xPlode version, or will we be able to install updates from the main m2d dev thread?

That's because that version is not yet ready for non-htc or older devices like blueangel. Hopefully they will get that to work. But i prefer xplodes version for our kind of device cause that's the perfect installation made yet for all devices.

wats the best 3d touch flo for X!1??

well
i tried many " cab " , but all of them had some problems
so is there any which work perfectly???
I tried a couple of .cab installs of TF3D but had similar frustrating problems. So I bit the bullet and installed Jack's v1.06 ROM [ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=445818 ] and it's incredible. Very fast, stable and looks great.
I think it's the only way to get this properly working on the X1 for now.
What is the difference between it and the standard rom? The stuff it adds are available from apps

If you read the first post in the thread, you'll see what the difference is
So if i dont really need the extra memory freed up by the removed portions, the rom is as good as generic?
mmmm
thanx for this help
but actually i was only looking for adding it like a software
more than changing my rom..
so i think i have to wait bit more , maybe one can do it
Touch-IT TF3D works quite well for me. better than the FullHDManila cab...don't asky why.

Manila 2 "landscape"? wm 6.5?

Hi dear forum members.
I have been gone from the forum a while, and it seems that I have missed alot, have tried to read alot and it seems that there is a new manila from a new device or something, and its called manila 2 "landscape"
Where can I find that cab? and whats new in it?
And about WM 6.5 is it out yet? I read that itje (the man!) is currently using it or developing, did not understand really.
Any kind soul want to share some light on all this stuff.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=485959
Have fun
Whats new... hm... actually the landscape mode and some improvements like built-in calender, contact editor and some things like time editing have been integrated... I´m talking about tf3d2 in the touch-it 4.0 ROM. So i dont know exactly if all stuff i have is include in the .cab.
wm6.5-thread has been closed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=475541
Ok thanks, Itje says he is not going to continue on the cab and daran_cark is, hope he makes a cab soon enough =)

Manila v2.5 Running on a HTC Touch HD

When the Diamond2 and Touch Pro2 get the Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade later this summer, it looks like they are getting a new version of TouchFLO 3D (Manila v2.5) that stretches the interface a bit deeper and makes it more customizable than seen on the current iteration. If not on the Diamond2 and Touch Pro2, we'll likely see Manila v2.5 on the upcoming Firestone.
Energy Rom TEST version HD manila 2.5
this is a test rom FROM ENRG
. Here is the link . Test only if you want to try the new manilla otherwise the rom has lots of bugs and it not stable.

For the Home tab, HTC has put forth efforts to bring frequently used tasks to the surface; in this case, the user can place three shortcut buttons that presumably go to a program, contact, or system command. Also, the calendar is still on the Home tab, though we wonder if that section will auto-collapse or simply act as a link.
More screenshots plus a video after the jump!
Click this bar to view the full image.
It seems that HTC Footprints, first launched on the 2009 version of the Touch Cruise, will make its way to all newer versions of TouchFLO 3D. Footprints lets you associate geographical coordinates with a photo.

Settings are going to go much deeper. Currently in TouchFLO 3D, there are only a handful of system settings that are skinned by HTC. Now, it looks like most things, down to Program and Storage, Regional, and even Text Input setting are skinned.
new manila 2.5 from firestone Excelent
very fast and now 100% fingerfrindly
more options EXCELENT
The next build of Manilla, TouchFlo3D 2.5, has been leaked, and this video shows it running on a HTC Touch HD. It continuous the replacement of the normal Windows Mobile UI, and it seems all parts of calendar and settings are now subsumed in the software.
Also new is HTC Footprints as an integral part of TF3D.
this is true ???? can´t wait for new Rom with manila 2.5

Test versions are out. I think that we'll see it within a week.
Probably won't be that stable for a bit though.
You will need to flash or imageUpdate your phone.
I don't think that is a HD I think that is the Firestone that is shown in that video is it not?
looks like an HD... i tried it today on my HD and it looks good, but it's slow and buggy in spots. i removed it because i need a stable device during the week!
Totally agree with cortez.i, tried manila 2.5 yesterday and at present it is to unstable & buggy with a number of things not working properly.
Once these have been ironed out though..........

manila 2.5 cab file? we'd all like it to be that easy, lol. but...you can forget about that. it's a ROM flash only... (for now).
I'm looking at the registry values for the new Footprints function on my HD. Seems Manila 2.5 was written for a device with a 3M pixel cam, opposed to the HD's 5M. I've set the value for a 5M function, but that didn't fix anything. I've alos checked FootCam.exe with Dependancy Walker which tells me alot of files are still missing.
If i find the time, i'll post a list of missing files / dependancies.

Manila TF3D 2.5 download please ??

Hey guys, i have used the search but for some reason when i press the submit to complete the search i get a Page cannot be displayed message, not sure if its my computer or not, so sorry if this has already been covered
i have a TG01 and a Touch HD, i was wondering if anyone has the Manila TF3D 2.5 for download as a cab so i can install it on the TG01 because i love TF3D but the manila thats floating around here with the download cab is a very old version of the TouchFlo so i was wondering if anyone has the 2.5 in a cab so i can install it on my wonderful TG01 to make it look as nice as the Touch HD
I thought it had to be built into the rom?
i have no idea, thats why im asking but there are no roms for the TG01 thats why i was looking for a cab maybe
Well I have the TP2 and have seen it posted there that 2.5 has to be built into the rom, probably the same for your device.

well where the h*** did you get one of those?
i have not seen a 2.5 cab, so yes it does need to be cooked in... however, if you're resourceful, you can use tools here to dump your ROM (there should be a flash util from toshiba if your OS is wiped from doing any of this.)
after the dump, disassemble the rom with one of the kitchens here... now the files should be in order but you're going to have a hard time building and flashing out of that with HTC oriented tools... im sure others have much better ideas how to recompile it.
if you can disassemble, build (no modifications), and flash, then really try to get your hands wet making a rom (ex. just cooking in manila 2.5 or even start with something simple like add some OEM packages) and start flashing til you like it! yes, it's not for those without time, but like you said there's no roms for the TG01 so you can pioneer it!
if your interested in messing around with this, im sure that i and the other xda members would be happy to chat offline to help you get it working... if you got one, then there's surely more to come...
btw... for a sick interface, just load up SPB mobile shell with the Revolution theme... a lot like the Sense UI, it's still pretty sweet
