Has anyone got a cab for this?
I've installed so many versions I lost the one that came with the phone.
the original cab is within the windows folder right at the bottom when you scroll down.

Dear All
It appears that there is an incompatability between the new JasJar firmware and the latest release of Opera.
The address bar is using the incorrect font and it appears as Wingdings!
The button text is also the same.
Can anyone else confirm this please?
Regards
JB
This has been discussed in the Opera beta tester forums..
You'll find it at the download page of Opera..
I tried the solution with Tweaks 2k2, but it did not work.
I changed the system font to Courier and the font displayed properly in Opera, but when I changed back to Tahoma, and Opera started displaying Wingdings again.
Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?
I am running the newest ROM on my JasJar (released a few days ago) and the beta 2 version of Opera is running from the storage card.
Previously I was running the hacked Treo verson of Opera which also was displaying wingdings with the new ROM.
If you had searched, you should have found this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=43624
Actually I searched "Opera Wingdings" and found this thread. I would suggest that similar threads be merged.
Both of the first 2 solutions work if I want to use Courier New, but they do not work for me when I change back to Tahoma.
However, copying Verdana.ttf from my desktop to the \Windows folder on the JasJar, and then a software-initiated soft reset solved the problem.
Thanks for linking me to the thread.

Hi All,
Have searched forums and cant find an answer for my prob.
I am trying to get the HTC Home Customizer working on my Hermes (SPVM3100 with Duttys WinMob6 Ver 2 upgrade)
The HTC Home Plugin appears in my Today config, and the various files appear in Windows (HTCICON.dll, HTCPLU.exe etc).
However, when I run the homecust.exe file I get an error saying HTC Home Plugin is not installed? (It is!).
I have extracted the zipped HTC Home Customizer file directly onto a folder on my storage card as someone posted that it doesnt work when the files are extracted on the PC and copied across.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Mark

Thanks for your reply, Mike.
I have already been all the way through this thread with no joy.
I THINK it may be due to the version of HTC Plugin that is included with Duttys WM6 upgrade. The file sizes of the key files (HTCPLUG.EXE and HTCICON.DLL) have different dates and sizes.
Can anyone shed any light on this? Has anyone got the HTC Plugin Cusyomize App working on Duttys WM6 Ver 2?
Cheers

If you suspect it may be related to the HTC Plugin version, then try downloading the plugin version attached in the thread Mike linked you to.
As far as extracting files, that's the way you should do it: extract on pc then transfer the resulting folder.
With it not running for you, that means the version you are running doesn't have the reg key I'm checking for (location of HTCHome.dll). I'm always trying to make the customizer as compatible as possible, so could you let me know which version of the plugin you are running and possibly a link to it? (Even though you should install one of the cabs from my thread as previously mentioned, as they support all of the customizer's options)
Right, thanks for your help guys - think I have sussed it!
It seems I was getting confused with two different software applications:
HTC HomePlug - just gives some icons (a la PHM Traylaunch)
HTC Home - The big box jobbie with clock, weather etc.
Dont know if others having this confusion, or whether it's just me having noobitis!
Sussed when I realised the customizer application was looking for HTCHome.dll and I had HTCHomeplug.dll - two totally different things!
Thanks again, sussed and working now!

guys, been searching the forum, but could not find a solution.
tried the UNO version and K's easy install cab, but I keep getting the following error, when trying to launch the cube by sliding my finger from bottom to top: "error: Unable to open URL: /Program Files/SCLPF/Version 1-00.swf"
edited the touchflo config - so it finds the flashlite to "/Windows/saplaywm.exe"
so that seems to be ok.
I use a german rom, so maybe it's the folder structure?
I would be really happy to receive a hint by someone in the know.
thx in advance,
mr. t.
saplaywm.exe should be pointed to your directory in program files/ flashlite something like that.
appelton - sry, I don't really understand what you mean by "saplaywm.exe should be pointed..."?
Do you mean saplaywm.exe should reside in the Windows directory?
I think it must be something different, I just copied the "saplaywm.exe" to that respective dir - to no avail.
Everytime I slide my finger from bottom to top, to start the cube, it keeps asking for the "Version 1-00.swf".
Any other ideas?
thx
Change Version 1-00.swf to StartMusic.swf. You're using someone elses cab which is why have you have this basic problem. You might want to use my cab instead next time.
Hey all,
I'm using Lakeridge's WAD and WA3 and I can't seem to find the exe for the stock alarm on my Touch/Vogue.
Any idea where it is so I can link on my phone's desktop?
Thanks.
MT
It's called "clock.exe", located under the Windows directory. Typically, all your basic apps, or anything preinstalled, will be found here.
Thanks, Champ.

No prob ! If you spend about 20 min to search through the windows directory and look at all the image and .exe files there, you'll get a better idea of where most things are.
On the subject of stock exe's. Does anyone know what the exe is to bring up the main windows mobile settings?... the settings that launch through the start menu.
Before the 6.1 update I linked to htcsettings.exe. I've searched all over this phone and I can't find it now.
Hi all,
When I purchased my Touch 3G from Singapore (Starhub) last week with the factory ROM the Today Screen with TouchFLO was showing "Programs" as the right softkey and the programs had the audio manager.
Once I upgraded the ROM to latest provided by HTC website for Asia WWE released date 2009-04-17. The right softkey is replaced by "Camera" and the Audio Manager Icon is not present in the programs.
Is this a bug or feature?
I really liked the old setup and was wondering if anyone knows how to replace the "Camera" softkey back to "Programs" and include the Audio manager icon into the programs.
Or if someone out there has the old version of the ROM.
Appreciate all the help.
Regards
Hi Buddy,
You have to add or edit the Registry Key
You need Registry Editor
1. Go to HKLM\Software\HTC\manila2D\Home\
2. Edit or add SK2 = "Your Own Text"
3. Edit or add SK2Cmd = "\windows\AudioManager.exe"
4. SOFTRESET
It work for me.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you cannot go back to the older ROM once you upgrade to the new one. I remember reading it on the download site.
i update my jade too ... it still work with the new rom just add or edit the Registry Key.
I posted the issue to the HTC tech Support, it seems they are calling this the new feature, the new upgraded ROM will have the Camera as default.
The softkeys should be configurable as default.
Had installed M2DC to configure the keys to any application, works like a charm.
But there is no way to get the Manila 2D Program folder to be configured. Anyone out there knows please post the solution.
