This is the best place where i can ask about any query on HTC HD2...
The HTC HD2 is finally available in India so iam going to buy it asap...
The price inc VAT is Rs 36,990/- on Univercell...
I have ordered it and it should be available within 3-4 days...
I have been reading all the feedbacks from the members here about the HTC HD2...
Some are positive but also some are negative...
So i wanted to know all the Pros and Cons of this device...

To be fair, the OP's question is so vague that advising him to search is the only suitable answer to give. There are numerous threads on this forum that discuss the pros and cons of the HD2 and it wouldn't be too hard to search for them and get an idea of the problems that people are having.

No i dont think so. There are really lots of threads around here about the good and bad sides of the HD2. Just do some search. Thats not meant in a rude way. But another discussion of what is good and bad would be too much (in particular: as he has already ordered the device he will have to do a lot of searching in the next weeks Get used to it.

Errr I don't think so to be perfectly honest - to go to the trouble of posting a thread which has an animated google search thing shows an element of cockyness, otherwise known to the common man as rude and condescending.

Err.. Actually, it emphasises the point that it is so easy to do a search and get the answers you are looking for. Think I've seen about 10 threads already without searching regarding pro's and con's. Rude and condescending would be me telling you to f off and read the rules!

Short answer... the HD2 is for you if you are looking for a multimedia device.
If you want a business phone, forget about it... don't let that windows mobile thing tricks you.
HD2 is a Iphone competitor, just watch HTC's CEO annoucing the Leo and comparing it to the Iphone...

The title is supposed to be descriptive of the topic not the first few words of a sentence.
This topic was about Gameloft games compatibility so you should have titled it accordingly or actually put question as title.

Yeah you're probably right, this issue has top priority. You should go on IRC and ask Cotulla about it, he's probably doing nothing anyway.
In all seriousness, what's not working for you? Be a little more descriptive. I for one don't have any problems playing them, so it's probably you, and not the devs who's gonna have to fix it.
Gameloft HD versions not the normai one for example avatar is for nexus or some ....but Avatar HD for like desire hd/z/evo those does not work brother tryyyy ok..i have tried it on HD builds .

I'm sure you and i are not the only ones who know how and where to find tiad8's website.
I come to XDA to see if there is something new, but lately most of the time in the Blackstone forum most new threads are all about OMG tiad8 says he's gonna do something!!!

then open file manager and type this into system/app

You can create a trasparent wallpaper and set it in locksreen. This is possible whit vettorial graphics.
Or you can google or search for "Windows Phone Transparent Lockscreen".

No, there are xda developers, developing now for WP7!
But problem is with the software for the hardware (which is now 3 years old!)=drivers
HTC might have them, but will probably not release them, if they exist.
It is very hard to edit or write new drivers without in-depth knowledge of the hardware=>HTC
The sad part is that WP7 "just work" without any tweaking (on a native device). The only thing people would like to have is personalization/ pirate apps.

Wrong answer. Correctly stated, the hd2 doesn't currently (and won't ever in the future) support multitouch within the wp7 platform. It is, however, perfectly functional in both the stock wm6x configuration, as well as numerous high quality android builds available for your pinching pleasure HERE <---
