Hello.. I've just installed the danish Qtek ROM because I wanted a danish T9 language for writing faster sms msg's..
However, Im a little annoyed by the ROM so I wondered if it's possible to export the danish T9, install an other ROM (WWE) and then import the danish T9 on that ROM?
Thanks..!
Since you installed the danish ROM I'm assuming you speak danish ;-)
This is what I did to get Swedish T9 on my Qtek WWE ROM:

The forum posts are in swedish, but I think/hope you'll manage to understand it..
Hi mwiberg,
I am almost in the same as Reef.... only the languages are different. I just bought in Germany the Qtek S200 from amazon. I would prefer to have the ROM in english or portuguese but i don't want to risk damaging my toy with a ROM flash, but I really need the portuguese T9. How do i import the portuguese t9 to a german OS? You posted this link teaching how to do it, but it is in danish! Could you post it in english?
Thanks
Hi, is it possible to add Norwegian xT9 on Touch Dual?
I want to use a cooked ROM, but there is no Norwegian language, so i'm kind of stuck with the original ROM.
I saw a guy put this together : http://www.modaco.com/content/HTC-J...925/MoDaCo-Shadow-XT9-Language-Pack-14-in-1-/
But it didn't work on my phone, maybe because it is a "qwerty" phone.
Does someone know how to fix it, or know about a language pack for a "abc" keypad, please help, I want a cooked ROM so badly!

Hello
If available, where can I find a danish version of T9 for the english WWE ROM?
I tried the "T9 Input 14 Languages Update" pack for the Diamond. It lets me select Danish T9, but when I type nothing happens - no input at all.
Do you know of a solution to that problem, or a danish language pack specific for the Leo?
Thanks in advance.
I for one would like to get an answer or solution to this question. It is not something only related to danish, but all languages as well, since the cookers preferred language is always english. It would be nice to be able to incorporate custom T9's to the basic texting in LEO. I don't expect a simple answer, but if anyone would share their knowledge on this subject it would be nice.
Merry Christmas, Skotten.
I have no answer to the quistion but i´m Danish and have a HD2 so if anyone can tell me how to extract the files you need I will help
the supplied cab does give you more t9 options in your language selection (triangle next to your keyboard icon), i'm not sure about characters on your keyboard.... forgot where i got it, i believe it was somewhere in the blackstone part.....
hope this helps you

Yes, Danish is included and it does work on LEO, in fact it's only a reg entry containing more languages than standard.
Ok, i did try this and it wasnt any problem adding Swedish thru the regedit ( i did this manualy) but one thing that wont work is the full qwerty keyboard...is there a nother way to get the full qwerty to work...
The compact and phone keyboard do work in swedish but when i select full then the t9 wont work anymore ?!?!??!

i used the cab, (no manually edit) and @ the keyboard setting (triangle next to keyboard icon on bottom of screen) i could select the language. After that it works on all keyboards, full, compact, phone. Hope this helps
Du skal bruge denne cab. Jeg har installeret det, og det virker derudaf
Eng: You need this cab... I've tried it, and it works ...

glad to be of help
Tak skal du have (Thank you)
But I just installed it on my HD2, and when I select danish, no keyboards are working.
Any ideas?
did you uninstall the diamond2 cab first ?
Sounds to me like you have incopatable cabs on top of eachother.
Try uninstalling everything and then just use the cab sugested.
I don't get it
I'd really like to be able to use the WWE ROMS with the danish T9.
I have downloaded and installed the "MoDaCo_Shadow_XT9_Language_Pack_1.1.CAB", but I can't find the program or where to chose language??
push the keyboard button and you'll see the menu where you can select the installed languages

1. I go to "Messaging" to write a new message.
2. I enter the Recipient
3. I press the Message area, and the keyboard appears.
If I go to the "Menu" it gives me the following options: "Add Recipient", "Insert ->", "Quick Text", "Save as Draft" and "Discard".
I don't see any button here that allows me to change the language.

Hi All
Import the reg key, use any regedit u like, like f.ex http://ceregeditor.mdsoft.pl/index.php?id=3&lang=en no need to softrest..
U r good to go
Det ser ud til at virke på min HD2'er Cobra2. Jeg takker.
Hi,
I searched the internet, but I don't find any working solution. I changed the registry, installed ezinput (after this the htc was frozen),...
I want to keep the language (Dutch) but not the keyboard layout (qwerty). It should be AZERTY. How can I do that on this device? Is their a rom/app that can perform this for me?
Thanks in advance.
Anyone? Is there a dutch rom with azerty on it?
if i remember fingerkeyboard does
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=487677
just choose your language as dutch and it changes the keyboard layout
let us know how it goes.
from experience it's a very good keyboard, even has abilities to cut, copy, paste, undo, etc.
IF IT DOESN'T have DUTCH
from another post -> simply select the arrow near the keyboard and select french, but remember xt9 will also be in french so disable it!

Yep, that's the problem, the goal is to keep XT9... unfortunately no solution exists so far, I'm in the same case, for some reason HTC thinks that French = AZERTY keyboard... mine is QWERTZ, thanks...
Hi,
I did it as follow:
*I installed this rom: Leopat 1.4 Nld with Cookies Hometab
*I Changed the keyboard to french
*I Changed this in the registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\LdbFiles]
"010c"="NLlsUN_xt9.ldb"
And now I have a dutch HTC with AZERTY . I took couples of hours to find those simple steps. Belgian people will be happy
Hmm, I tried that before, and it didn't work... but now it seems to? Weird.
Anyway XT9 still has a long way to go before it gets really useable, most of the time it doesn't even get it right if you type one wrong letter (neighbouring one) in a 6 letter word, and gives no suggestion...
Dammz... I flashed my HTC and did what I said above but xt9 stays french...
I searched hours for a solution without any luck.
Is it that hard to make xt9 dutch when using the french keyboard (azerty)?
