My friend, can you please explain to us why you opened that thread and 2 minutes later you opened this one here ? Since this topic has been discussed a lot of times up to now !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Search first to see if this has been reported or discussed or answered and if you don't find something relative to that then you open a new thread. Look how many topics found searching the forum with "HTC hotfix"
Welcome to the forum.
To the moderators, can you please delete these 2 threads and merge the posts to this one ?

Hotfix for freezeings out!!

Check this page -> http://www.htc.com/www/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=179&cat=0&dl_id=448
Just downloaded and installed. seems to be OK, device starts up a bit quicker as well, but starting touchflo3D seems to take longer then it did before.
Had no freezing on messages owever, so must be something that changed for the better
I have noticed that my cpu has gone from 50% down to 36% after installing hotfix

I allways get one error when starting to download.
Can anyone post here the file.
Downloaded OK.
Must admit the "Please waiting" message did not inspire confidence!
TF3D does take longer to start after the soft reset that this hotfix requires. And, it takes a fraction of a second longer to return to the "home" tab than before.
Messages seem a little smoother to enter than before but I can't say I notice a big difference.
Rgrds, D
For whatever stupid reason it downloads fine with IE, but not Chrome. No wonder, HTC server is .NET
yeaaaah, scrolling in opera in landscape is now possible. no freezes any more. i can say: thx for the fix .

It has been posted by me before, no need to another.
Thanks for this... I noticed the website said this could only be installed on ROMs earlier than 1.19.xxx.x - mine was 1.14.xxx.x, as I've noticed are other people's in their .sigs - does this imply a new ROM is on its way?
thanks for the notice, hopefully it will work wonders.
Please continue this in the original thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=446440
Because HTC support are reading about the problem there..
Thanx

god, i hate these stupid kids...
the most important is that the file is now available ....;
so, these threads are stopping by themselves .....

Sorry if this been posted, but searched and didn't find anything conclusive. I have this issue with all manilla 2.5.19193*
When login to twitter it accepts my user + password, then just stucks downloading tweets, please wait...
if I change manilla page, then come back, allways gives a connection error.
This happens on all 2.519193* manilla that I've tested. is just me ?
feel free to close this thread if it is not relevant
Thanks

hmm. Maybe try a few times? Or at Manila there click "all tweets" then "update now". I'm not sure about yours. As I faced this problem and used the method suggested by him and it worked.
Its buggy as hell, some days it works for me, some days it doesnt.
HTC and Twitter have had problems with HTC Peep but according to HTCs twitter-page the problems are solved.
But i still cant add any twitts from my device, I can recieve though.
Hopefully it will be fixed when newer Manila packages arrives.

get pinch to zoom in all applications :-)

In the HTC HD2 beta rom you could "pinch to zoom" in all applications.
For some reason it has been removed in the final rom.
With ZOOOMER you can now get zoom back again in any application that you like.
More info @ http://www.mobilitynews.net/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=2147
The page is in German, but the program is in English
The download link is at the bottom of the page.
Make sure that you do a soft reset after selecting the applications that you do a soft reset to make it work.

Sorry - my mistake.
Someone else posted about this A LOT, and despite it being a very useful app, he was sort of killing it by posting so much!!
Great find!! Thanks for posting, or re-posting, as the case may be.

NP. I did a search in the Leo section, but did not find it. Thats why I posted it.

is there a way to speed up SMS thread reading in HD2?

i dun usually delete SMS in my HD2(esp those from my gf), so every time i want to write or reply SMS to others, i click on a thread and wait for like 4-5 secs till the phone "reads" all the SMS in that thread, then i can tap the screen for input keyboard to pop up and start typing.
this is annoying, anyway to prevent this from happening or at least speed up the "reading"??
Thx!!
its seems that we all are having the same problme and there is no solution for it just yet other than using the traditional mode.
i really hope HTC will come up with a solution atleast show the last 10 sms like the older version.
YOU **** P£"!$£"!$ off and go read the forum there is a work around fix if ur willing to go search for it!

argh...well...classic views are kinda messy for me, besides i have to tap 2 more times in order to reply...
No, there's no fix for the lag.
There's a fix for the sending issue, but its a 50/50 that it works according to all the ppl who posted in those threads.
Meanwhile, when you are going to reply on an SMS, press the "Send"-button when the SMS-list is being populated and then "Cancel" and voila - its done.

wow that really makes a difference~thx man~~well hopefully HTC can fix this lag~~
Yup.. I agree. its slow in this sense.. ut I usually do a backup using the windows myphone app and just delete the messages. in this way, the messages is not lost.
You can try it too.

HTC Mail - Full view problem

Hi there,
Not sure what I did but when I tap on an email from the HTC Mail app, it does not bring the full view anymore.
I have to go through the inbox.
Any idea about what can cause this?
Thanks
A
Try going to Start-Lock and then when you unlock the screen it should work ok.
The issue has been noted in many threads. Please search.
