Can I use any mini USB car charger for my FUZE? Or do I have to buy one specifically for the fuze?
Yes, but if you purhase an OEM one then it will charge faster.

Do you have any suggestions? By OEM, do you just mean a 3rd party car charger?
Can anyone suggest a good car charger to use, seeing as HTC apparently doesn't make one for the Fuze?
OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer.
Same one as the Kaiser, Hermes, Wizard.... I have several my oldest dates back to my Wizard they all work great wiht the Fuze.

So does that mean I should get an HTC branded one?
Sorry if its a stupid question, but I am sort of a newb.
Thanks
Do you know where I can get one? Any online stores?
I went to my local electronics store (Frys) and bought a usb car adapter thing, so I just plug in my usb cable to the charger and bam. Best $4.00 I ever spent. Also works great for my ipod.

I got one of those from Maplin for £5.99 and it comes with a handy round pin plug that charges my gps receiver as well
I have also got a battery extender that powers the XDA from 4 AA size batteries, but needs tweeking as it will discharge the XDA if connected for an extended period. I am guessing that a diode will solve the problem

That'll be Sony's newer Playstation Pocket, rather than normal Playstation console.
regular mini usb cable will do
hey, i wanted an additional sync/charge cable to keep at the office, so i bought a simple usb/mini usb cable for 3$ at a local pc store -works perfectly.
the pda specialist store at the same shopping center wanted 25$ for the same thing, essentialy - just called it a sync/charge cable for UNIVERSAL... bastard thieves.
Check out the range available already...
Boxwave
Not a single dedicated accessory for Kaiser... These are all standard cable for all devices check Inkino they have some original stuff there...
I dont want to pervert my kaiser with any generic shenanigans.... ONLY TyTN II specific accessories getting plugged in to my baby!

Do we know for sure that these accessories are working? I heard somebody say that his Tytn car charger did not work with the Kaiser.
I know the Boxwave USB car charger (the 1 amp version) works -- I bought it for my Wizard a year ago & have used it with my Kaiser.

Most TyTn/Hermes accys should be fine. I plugged my Kaiser into my 8525 chargers and even a Sedio tyTn Charge cradle base and they all work fine.
Folks,
Just buy the Motorola charging devices (mini-usb), they work fine with my Wizard and my Kaiser as well!!
Greets,
Forrest
i ordered 2 sync cables 2 weeks ago and they never arrived. my credit card company is going to dispute the charge. boxwave said to email them by the 25th and they would resend the order. i never had a problem like this before and i have been ordering online for years. i have dealt with boxwave in the past and had quick shipping.
i ordered and received a Boxwave screen protector but it's too long and doesn't fit. i'm waiting for a response so i can return it. think i'll stick with Martin Fields, that is, assuming they have one for the Tytn II.
As I mentioned in another topic, go with P3300 screenprotectors. They are identical in size.
You can also check this site out
They have a wide range of HTC products and are priced corectly..... http://www.myphonetrader.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=HTC+Tilt&x=15&y=12
I tried to order one from Cellguru.com but they're out of stock and don't seem to have any indication of when they'll be back in stock. Does anybody know of a reliable vendor for the OEM battery?
Thanks!

Tessco, Superior, Expansys.
The first 2 are the distributors for AT&T. Or you could call HTC.

Here is a cheap one: Dealextreme
The one at DealExtreme isn't OEM, just a generic battery. You can tell by the label: the original batteries have the "HTC Innovation" text parallel to the long edge, while the generic batteries have the text parallel to the short edge.
But the generic batteries seem to be pretty good. Also check eBay, several sellers are selling packs of 2 generic batteries + external charger for about $20. However, beware: the generic batteries apparently don't work well with CDMA Touch Pro (Sprint/Verizon) for some reason.
Thanks for the pointers. I appreciate the help.
check ebay.
theres a seller located in texas that i just bought from for like $15. havent received it yet tho.
I got my OEM battery from www.everythinghtc.com.
So, what kind of cable should I get and where can one get it ?
A bit more googling turned up this link, which seems to be the right cable: http://www.blahdvd.com/Hw/Samsung-Original-Samsung-Micro-USB-TV-Out-Cable/AATCX10CBEC/product.htm
Still in the UK though, I wonder if they're available somewhere closer to home :/
the Nokia N95 TV Out cable works perfect.
I believe we have a winner (price-wise): http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.31498
4,73 American lollerdollarz and no shipping !
instead of the 3 colours is it possible to get the HDMI connection instead??

I too am wondering if this is possible.
thanks
I don't think its possible to do HDMI out I'm afraid.
Can confirm Nokia cables work perfectly, I have an old one that I'm using.
They can be purchased cheaply on Ebay.

You don't think buy your not sure, hmmm lets hope you can do it, the 3 colors seem to me so old now.
I gotta have to go to shops look for a hdmi cable and try b4 you buy.
Can anyone else confirm this, if it works or not for sure?
The phone will only output analogue audio/video as far as I am aware. While you might be able to find a headphone to HDMI lead, the picture won't be any better.
Ordered a lead this morning from eBay, £1.94 delivered from the UK rather than H.K.
