Here is a 8GB microSDHC for $15 USD with free shipping worldwide. Just found it on the website and looks like a good deal to me. Any comments?

And a 4GB microSDHC for $7 USD including free shipping worldwide.
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.18575
Seems like cheap options available to many worldwide to me.
dont buy from them. Buy from newegg very reliable and always awesome
4 gig for 5.75
8 gig for 16.99
I agree with johnny13oi. But get either the A-Data or Transcend Class 6 cards. They are the fastest.
I got the A-Data Class 6 for 17.99 free shipping from New Egg.
I have 6 gig SD, but need a bit more of speed and space, so I listen to to you and ordered A-data for 17.99 from newegg.com
thanks
newegg is great i have ordered from them many times.
Yeah newegg is great, but I just provided those links for those who are not in the US and need a cheap place to buy microSDHC cards. I personally buy from newegg also.
Another vote for Newegg! I got a little bigger card for my Fuze though, a Sandisk 16 GB card from Amazon for 55 bucks- http://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-micro...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1228883056&sr=8-1
I've bought a lot from Amazon as well, and had only good experiences. I had a 6 GB class 4 card before this, and while the 16 GB card is class 2 it seems just as fast and performs perfectly.
Is it the 15.99 one on the site the one to get?
I want an 8gb compatible card as well
are those guys even relible? that site does look kinda sketchy to me
Would a Kingston 8GB Card work, or is it not compatible? And if it is compatible, are there better cards, or cards that perform better?
Yeah I buy from this site all the time. It just takes a while to get to you depending on where you live. There is a forum on there to ask questions about products and stuff. I usually buy my flashlights from there, they are really dirtcheap for what they are.
http://www.dealextreme.com/
Dealextreme are excellent, I have bought from them several times - insanely bright torches and fire starting lasers. They have some great gadgets at low prices. They also have a lot of crappy stuff, also at low prices. They have an active forum where you can ask before buying. Delivery can take a while, if you want it quick, buy elsewhere.

I'm a HUUUUUGE dealextreme fan and often use volume rate but frankly certain stuff dealextreme doesn't do well. Deal extreme is better at doing gadgets and stuff like that with massive markups and profit margins. But with commidities like memory, hard drives, CD/DVDs, etc. its not a good ideas.
You will wait a minimum of 2 weeks (I've waited 4 weeks before) and you won't really save much money. Deal extreme has decent product quality but its not gonna be top-notch quality. Don't get something your going to rely on and that integrity and build quality is super important.
DX may have excellent products and have great value but they have always lacked in build quality, which is a trade off you don't want to make just to save a couple bucks on something you'll use so extensively and rely on.
I have bought a lot of stuff from volumerate and dealextreme (PS: Its the same company, dealextreme owns volumerate, it is just fully hosted in china and is always cheaper, although they only have select items) but I know where to draw the line and I haven't always been happy with what I have bought.
With this kind of stuff you can usually get better deals on newegg or, my favorite, tigerdirect.
*CHEERS TO CHEAP MEMORY*
Was going to buy 8gb A-Data from Newegg but bought Transcend instead. Same class, one buck cheaper . but i payed for rush shipping so it made up for it anyways. Some people were giving bad reviews about A-Data so i went with Transcend. Im guessing it was bs and they are both the same. My card should get here in a few days then i will be happy with my class 6
well i bought me a christmass present yesterdey, and ordered this one
it has a little usb cardreader that i liked.
as my standard PC cardreader doesn`t support HC sd.
will let you know how it works.

That's how much I paid for mine from amazon, i ordered it monday.
newegg.com has an 8gig for cheaper.
I bought an 8GB MicroSDHC class 4 off of Amazon a few weeks ago for $28USD.
oh well i have a 2gig and was about to buy a 4 gig but i dont think i need it..... =\
Shipping included?
Be careful Buying cheap SD Cards. They could be counterfeit from an unreputable dealer.
Like they always say, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."
New egg has an A-DATA 16GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card Model TurboSD SDHC 16G for US$43.99 plus shipping.
I agree with Jimmy, but personally am running an A-data now. There is a review on the newegg site where a customer claims to have had 3 of these and 2 reported as Class-6 and one as Class-2. He says he RMA'ed the class 2 and got the other class 6.
I went ahead and grabbed one to check it out in my kaiser, no idea what I will ever store on it frankly. I can't fill up a 4gig now, or maybe I should say yet!

Once Again I don't want to sound like I wear a tin foil hat. But I do computers for a hobby, a first, and a second job. I've seen LOTS of counterfeit stuff technology-wise out there.
eBay is the worst offender!
I find that New-egg Is pretty good, they let my RMA if I have issues. Amazon as well, depending on the "seller." My top three: Amazon Direct, Adorama, and J&R Music/Computer World.

Cause it was 420 and I didn't read close enough, LOL. So scratch that I am going to use it in my camera. LOL
I have an 8 Gig which I purchased when they were still around $70 USD. I have mine pretty full with movies and music. I was away on business this past week and the music came in handy. I did notice that my 700 meg Divx movies stutter some and will need to go back to the 200-300 Mb movie size. I have never had problems with NewEgg. BTW - Segeway - Just purchased a Colby 7" DVD player which has both SD and USB ports on it. I was able to play the DiVx movies I have on my MicroSD card. They did not stutter on the Player. The player is a good deal right now for around 100 USD.
I got mine at Microcenter
4GB - $19.99
8GB - $49.99
I bought an 8gb microsdhc from newegg.com for under $30. Class 6
i just stole my 8gb from someone else..

Class 4 is slower than what I have listed below, plus, these links below include both Mini and SD adaptors, which is very important.
http://www.supermediastore.com/adata-8gb-micro-sdhc-sd-class-6-with-sd-minisd-card-adapter.html
I can speak for this website, and their quality. I still have the 2GB card from 2-3 years ago, and have no problems with it. Highly recommended. BTW, A-DATA is also the exact same brand as I have now, so I can speak for the brand as well.
Price: 32.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211342
Can't say anything good or bad about the seller/vendor, but the price is hard to beat:
Price: $23.99 Shipped!
well i thought it was cheap 4gig for $10 speed 6 too... supermediastore.com woot i think it was free shipping too
Normal price. 4GB for $10, 8GB $20, 16GB $65 seem to be the norm on ebay now.
Yes, this is typical price. Yesterday I found 4GB speed 6 for 4.90 british pounds (free P&P). UK stock, so it will take 3 days to get it !
Kris
i bought an 8gb class 4 Kingston micro sd with 2 different adapters ...$21 with shipping. Make sure u buy branded ones like kingston or sandisk.
Watch out for Sandisk look a likes too! I got a bad mini 4gb and a bad 8gb Micro in the past. They look like the real deal but if you put them side by side you will see the difference. Both fakes didn't last a month. Kevin
8gb micro card class 6 at Newegg for $16.00 (no adapter) and free shipping (I think).

Depends, how fast are you looking for?
I picked up 2 Transcend 8 gb Class 6's on Amazon for 17 bucks each.
I figured its not kingston or san disk but hell 17 bucks is cheap.
Not to mention I have a transcend Flashdrive and transend ram in one machine, it can't be that bad.
I ordered them tuesday, haven't gotten em yet. But I'll let you know how it does monday when I get them. They are actually probably waiting at the office for me....damn I should have had them shipped to the house instead...thanks for making me realize I am a moron. errrrrr....
EDIT:
I have heard TopRam stuff doesn't last, but there is a lot of it out there for cheap. Could be a good alternative if you don't mind buying stuff 2 or 3 times. reviews tend to be negative, or at least highly mixed with them.
The transcends seem to be sold out Thats a good sign.
good question
I would also be interested as well. I'm using stock card that came with the phone. I'd like to move up but don't want to over pay.

I guess I told too many people about the steal of a deal.
I got the Transcend 8gig from amazon.. No problems at all so far....
I too am using a Transcend off of Amazon. No issues here, and I will always go class 6 or higher from now on in any of my devices to ensure that I don't get hampered by speed. No issues on any of the ROMs, and I tried just a few out today, to the point everyone was asking what the heck I was doing to my phone.
+1 transcend on amazon class 6. it is greeat.
I've had no problems with the Transcend I purchased from Amazon
Got my new Transcend SD's today. Anyone know of a good app to test the speed? I have seen some benchmark stuff on the forum, but I am not sure what they are using to get their numbers.
What I've been using to benchmark my phone's speed is the app called 'benchmarkPi'. Speeds under 9000ms are pretty good.
Edit: app name correction
I got the Transcend 8gb class 6 off of newegg website. $19.49 with free shipping. Works great. Model TS8GUSDHC6.
*I also use Transcend RAM in my desktop computer and never had any issues.
Easy way to test the speed is to copy a large file from you computer to the sd card. It will show you the transfer speeds as it copies. The Transcend 8 GB I have will sustain 12-13 MB/s copying a 300 MB file to the card.
Look up crystal disk, it will give you a benchie of the card (in windows of course).
Not sure how great it is, but seems like a decent deal: http://dealnews.com/PQI-8-GB-Class-6-micro-SDHC-Card-for-15-free-shipping/361308.html
PQI's a known memory name. I bit on the 8GB transcend on the egg.
According to a few benchmarks, at worst case scenarios, PQI barely exceeds the Class 6 read speeds (at which isn't bad), but it also barely exceeds Class 2 write speeds (which is really bad!). So I got one for $15...
But PQI is known to had write speed issues in many of their flash products.

I got a wintec 32GB class 10 today and its really fast.
Bought it on newegg and got it in 1 day and
did a test
no errors.
it writes 15.2 MB/Sec pretty fast.
Its about $75 tho.
$75 + 16gb TF is still cheaper than the 32gb TF, plus you get an extra 16gb of storage!
I read some reviews about the Wintec and other class 10 32gb cards that they don't hold up too long with Android and other smarth phone devices.
Are you looking for the best price or the best product no matter the price ?
It's one of those few things that you don't buy from ebay
Stick to Amazon or something.

I was referring to cards on Newegg, not eBay.
If you read the reviews, people say they aren't made for smartphones/tablets and in some cases say that when they contacted the company about their issues that the company also verified they may not work well with smartphones/tablets.
got a 16gb class 10 from play uk...15 quid..
will buy a 32gb when its price comes down a bit
For the money I have always stuck with Sandisk. I have a 32gb in my Evo (got it when Verizon was practically giving them away) and I will likely get one for the TF. Unfortunately they only make a class 2 card that uploads relatively slow but I can deal with that, it reads plenty fast enough to play back HD video.
What is the minimum card speed you would buy? And why?
Please delete, dupe
I wouldn't get too caught up in the whole speed thing. Different vendors have different rules for how they rate their cards and none of them really seem to be terribly consistent. In real world usage, the class rating doesn't often reflect real world usage speed. I've bought class 10 cards that were slower then class 2's and cheap cards that worked better than more expensive ones. The single best advice is if you can forget about the specs just buy a genuine Sandisk card and life will be good.
Working with the NookColor a lot before the Transformer lots of people wanted to dual boot their NC off the SD card and so we all went out and bought class 10's and we all complained that our devices would not boot or were painfully slow. Meanwhile, the guys with the class 2-4 Sandisks were running without a problem because those cards are just designed really well. So if you just want a bucket of cheap storage pickup anything that's reviewed well on Newegg and you should be fine. If you want the best built card for the money Sandisk is really the only way to go.
Findmike speaketh the truth.
I have had problems with SanDisk over the years. No matter what card you get, your mileage may vary.
Personally, I have had the best luck with Transcend brand and Lexar class 6 microSD 16GB cards in many different devices and scenarios. I have read about more problems from 32GB cards than the 16GB ones. Some of the cases seem to be device and operating specific and other cases seem to memory card failure itself. I am going to try the Lexar brand class 10 32GB microSD and give it a shot. I am a glutton for punishment sometimes. Transcend would be my other choice.

DAMN YOU LOGIC!!! DAMN YOU TO HELL!!!
Had to say it. LOL!!!!
Im using the 32GB Class 4 SanDisk Micro Sd I got from my HTC Thunderbolt on the TF and I gotta say it works Very Cooooo
PNY were releasing 32GB class10 microSD cards for Tablet devices this week for $70 ($56 from newegg)
I'm using a 32GB SanDisk class 2 on my MT4G and a 32GB Transcend class 4 in my Asus Transformer and both cards download/upload pretty fast, the Transcend is a little bit faster.
The testing was done on the same phone and then again on the tablet. I used the Micro SD Card Tester app ($2) for all tests and performed them right after each other.
As other posters have said, my first choice would be the SanDisk and second would be the Transcend...based on pricing and availability of course.
Good luck on your quest...
