I have IGO8 GPS software installed on my X1 and it works great. The only problem is if I'm listening to music on an external player (Windows Media Player), the music drowns out the IGO8 turn by turn directions.
Is there some way to have IGO8 pause or mute the external player?
To the top.

hi i have just set up my car so that i can play audio through my headunit and use tomtom navigation software, all is working well i was just wondering if anyone knew of a patch or something that would mute/lower volume of the music when tomtom speaks a command.
currently at the moment i am running windows media player in the background and tomtom on top, i am successfully able to hear the music and the tomtom commands allthough sometimes the commands are hard to hear with the music playing
As far as I know the sound API's are not on a per application basis, you only have a choice of hardware, or software through bluetooth. you could perhaps set WMP at a lower level than the main device volume, and have TomTom louder though.
Hi anyone know how to stop the tomtom Audio going over to the car stereo. Would like to to stream the music over but have the Tomtom directions remain on the TP2.
you can't (AFAIK) choose which apps audio goes over Bluetooth, it's a system wide function.

Thanks usb sd card stereo it is then
hello everybody, i do't kow if i can post this message here so sorry if i don't. I have a problem with bluetooth audio with my car radio and my HTC HD2 ( i had a same problem that HTC with a ACER S200 that are both on windows mobile 6.5 ). I play music on my phone with PocketMusic and then i connect my phone with bluetooth to my car radio. The sound play 2 or 3 seconds thru car speakers then cuts off but the song continues to play in pocketmusic. After 20 or 30 seconds the phone disconnects frolm the car radio then connects again and once again the music plays thru the car radio than the sound cutts off 3 seconds later but the song continues to play in pocketmusic. What is strange is that the only windows media player is able to play music on my car radio without the sound cutt off. And if i run windows media player and pocketmusic at the same time, i hear the music played in pocketmusic on the radio until windows media player is closed , like that is windows media player who controls the bluetooth sound. When the phone disconnects from the radio, the sound switch on the phone stereospeaker. The third strange thing is if windows media player is running , than when i start pocketmusic, it kills automatically widows media player and the sound cutts off. I tried everything possible but nothing works. I precise that my Samsung omnia and its WM6.1 ROM worked perfectly. Thanks for your answers.
Can't help you with your question ,

Hello,
I am usually listening to music using bluetooth headphones. The Music booster is not working with bt headset. If I use a music player different then HTC music the buttons on the headphones (next, previous, play/pause) opens the htc player and controlls it. Is there any tweak to let the bt buttons navigate another player?
Thanx for the help
