I'm looking for a programm to store my sms at my laptop (Vista). Use sms like email because they are included in my flat rate...
Until now I used MobileMaster with my Samsung, but it was no WM model.
Does anybody knows a nice application for my X1?

But it replaces the default/original SMS Inbox and uses its own Inbox.. i just want to stick with the default MS inbox.
You could try this from www.zedsoft.net its called smsorganizer. It has similar features to smart inbox and uses the default inbox. The downside is it doesnt lock the inbox but it does hide any confidential sms you may get :wink:
On a side note does anyone know of any software like this that works with wm5?

does any1 know how this guy makes his program send u a msg telling to the d/l the latest version when you try using the program?
ie i went to start smsorganizer today, and it doesnt start, but comes up with a pop up asking to check the website for the latest version...
how does anevemkovacs get the program to do that ?
does he have access to control the program even though i haven't been online for months...
can i use 4 xdaII

jsut backup(via spb backup) and remove all the msgs of 30, 31 and 1st date and reinstall the application.
I'm looking for a freeware app that will connect the device, and allow me to read and reply to text & mms messages, email would be good too.
Does anyone know of such an app? Freeware is a must as its for work, I'd rather not put anything I've paid for on there

I've been looking for one for a while (and I dont want it to be a stinking outlook plugin - why cant I just get a little app to run on the phone which copies the messages in a txt file or something?) and Jeyo is the only one I have found. It doesnt mean there aren't others (as it is clearly possible), just wonder who is holding out on us

pocketsms doesn't work for some.. you can try Jeyo Mobile as well.
as far as i heard sending sms from the internet have become possible / easy once more so that would be a cheaper path in general
well.. you can use ICQ to SMS for free.. works in most countries and if my brain doesn't mislead me you can a decent amount of free sms's to start with. also if you receive an SMS to ICQ you get 8 more sms's to send.. quite a dispenser.

It looks like I am asking soming not easy to get! I did almost two weeks search for workable software. I only found one software which is called Instant SMS Sender. I tried it and it works. But it doesn't have must features like Indovisi SMS.
I hope someone can come up with better one. Lets look who is the Hero

I found a very simple freeware software which is called zSMS v0.6. I tested and it works. It doesn't allow me to type unicode SMS. Did any body test to send unicode SMS using zSMS software?

Try using Simple SMS V5.0 (For WM5 & WM6), and you may find your luck, depending on what type of handphone you are using.
Well, I still prefer Indovisi SMS but I am having the same problem with you.
Let me know if you find any better software too..
I was using a Windows CE6 not sure which rom it was but the SMS messenger program kind of worked like MSN messenger. Now I put a new rom and it has the old way of doing SMS. Does anyone know what does that. And where I can find the update.

I would imagine that you had the wm 6.1 pro version, it has threaded sms, while wm 6 and older does not!
Also I can recommend a program called SMS-Chat
that also uses threded sms like msn, and it even has smileys!
