problem found after uninstall pocket informant

Hi there,
I have a strange problem after i have uninstall my trial-version of pocket informant 2006.
It seems like my shortcut to 'Contact' at my Today screen didn't function anymore. When I click on it, nothing happened...
The strange thing was, if I access this 'Contact' from my 'Phone', it works...
any idea how to solve this? Thanks in advance... I'm using WM5 on XDA Atom

MSN Messenger on Ameo! Where is it??

Hi i have just got the ameo and love it!!! Only thing is i cany find the MSN messenger on it?? Has it gone or am i being silly? But i have looked everywhere and the cd they give you to download a version does not have my Ameo software on it???? please help or tell me where to get the programme. thanks everyone!

You're quite right, it's missing on the Ameo.
However, you can download the newest and considerably better version for WM6 called Windows live Messenger. Works perfectly on the Ameo and is more akin to the PC version.
Do a search for it on this forum. It's in an older thread.

In order to start MSN messenger, go to Start>Program>Pocket MSN.
Once you have started Pocket MSN, you'll see MSN messenger as the first item for you to use. It's a great little tool. I've been using it a couple of years now, and does everything I want it to do

can someone give me the correct link for the windows messenger please?
I have tried to search over the forum, but still couldn't find it.

Live Search on WM5 Today Screen?

Does anyone know how I can get the Live Search application on the Today screen in WM5 as it is in WM6.

You have to install Live messenger, it contains the Live search too. It is not officialy released by Microsoft for all WM5 phones, so you have to search for Live Messenger for mobile. I cannot give you a link.

I've managed to find the Live Messenger cab file but the program wasn't really what i was expecting. I was hoping just to get the Live Search on the today screen. All the Live Messenger does is search the web Thanks anyaway.

Upgraded Ameo to Mobile 6 using.....

I used the ATHE_T-MOB005 ROM
everything is working fine except my windows live
it wont connect comming up with this msg.....
"There's a connectivity problem. Make sure you're in an area with good phone reception and try again"
my internet works fine so the connection works is this somthing with windows live ? i only want to use the live messenger
theres a rom upgrade for the radio should this be done as well ?

Hard reset solved the problem BUT......
Ive done my mobile 6 upgrade everything went ok
ive installed trueVGA everything went ok
setup live and it is very sluggish the arrows arent there to switch the
windows live screen on the today screen
is there anyone else with this or is it just mine ?
am going to have to run it in qvga to let windows live run ok ?

[solved] How do you get the newsbreak today plugin to appear?

Hi all, I have installed and uninstalled and reinstalled newsbreak a number of times and I cannot get it to show the today plugin. It is not even an option in the today screen list where the other plugins are... any ideas on how I can find it?

No one can help at all?

Ok found out what I had to do... install an earlier version to the one I was using... thats it... the earlier version was a much larger file than the later one so I think I might have got a bad download....
