sktools............................
Use Advanced Config - under Today option. You can choose between battery and clock.

Hi all,
My other half bought a Touch Plus yesterday and I've been adding software to it to make all that much better.
The contacts are stored on the SIM and I've copied them all into Pocket Outlook. I then made the reg tweak to hide the SIM contacts which worked immediately, hiding all the SIM contacts. However, when I soft reset the device (via software or holding down the power button and then re-powering on) the registry value goes back to what it was - showing the SIM contacts!
Is there any way that reg value can be kept to 0?
Cheers
ND
Hi
I have the exact same problem and asked this question previously here, never got a answer
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=359152
The first thing after a reboot is to hide my SIM contacts... If anyone have a solution it would be very nice.
Kind Regards
I have found a solution...
Download dotfred's excellent TaskManager/Registry Editor from: http://www.dotfred.net/TaskMgr.htm
Copy the exe to wherever you want on your device,
Use the registry editor in there to set the ShowSIM value to 0.
Export that registry value... to \My Documents\HideSIMContacts.reg (for example)
Create a shortcut to the task manager exe in Windows\StartUp.
Edit the properties of that shortcut (I use Resco Explorer) and set the Target as follows:
"<path to task manager>" \My Documents\HideSIMContacts.reg /silent
Make sure you have "'s around the Task Manager path BUT NOT around the path for the reg file.
Reboot...
Bob's your uncle.
I had the same issue with my previous Orange UK stock ROM, don’t know why the registry tweak does NOT stick after SR on certain ROM’s :-/ so in the end I resorted to installing the attached cab which fixed the issue
On my current HTCAsia WEE ROM the registry tweak works so no need for the cab fix! Anyway for those with ROM where the registry tweak does NOT work, you can use the fix mentioned here by NinjaDonkey or install the attached cab and soft reset, that should do the trick
AWESOME...thanks, I have a locked rogers HTC Touch and have tried many different Reg tweaks that would not stick to hide the SIMs in my Contacts, but the NIKI Sim fix above finally got it. Thanks, thank you, thanx again.
nikisimfix

Hi all,
When I purchased my Touch 3G from Singapore (Starhub) last week with the factory ROM the Today Screen with TouchFLO was showing "Programs" as the right softkey and the programs had the audio manager.
Once I upgraded the ROM to latest provided by HTC website for Asia WWE released date 2009-04-17. The right softkey is replaced by "Camera" and the Audio Manager Icon is not present in the programs.
Is this a bug or feature?
I really liked the old setup and was wondering if anyone knows how to replace the "Camera" softkey back to "Programs" and include the Audio manager icon into the programs.
Or if someone out there has the old version of the ROM.
Appreciate all the help.
Regards
Hi Buddy,
You have to add or edit the Registry Key
You need Registry Editor
1. Go to HKLM\Software\HTC\manila2D\Home\
2. Edit or add SK2 = "Your Own Text"
3. Edit or add SK2Cmd = "\windows\AudioManager.exe"
4. SOFTRESET
It work for me.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you cannot go back to the older ROM once you upgrade to the new one. I remember reading it on the download site.
i update my jade too ... it still work with the new rom just add or edit the Registry Key.
I posted the issue to the HTC tech Support, it seems they are calling this the new feature, the new upgraded ROM will have the Camera as default.
The softkeys should be configurable as default.
Had installed M2DC to configure the keys to any application, works like a charm.
But there is no way to get the Manila 2D Program folder to be configured. Anyone out there knows please post the solution.
I used the search funktion and found couple things (Personalizer 2.0 and Op Mon) regardings this.
After a soft reset the operator name changes back to the original.
Is there way to keep the changed operator name even after a soft reset?
I would appreciate a lot, if someone could help.
cheers,
timsah
Hi,
I wanted that myself. I searched and Personalizer works for me perfect. After softreset aswell. No idea why it not working for you. Check windows/start up folder, maybe its not starting after reset.

The reg setting should be in HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\OperatorName
@artukas613
Thnx for the link, i tried with Personalizer 2.0 and didn't know about 3.1
Now it works even after Reboot.
@Bruce Inman
My ROm is without Manila.
I tried with HKLM/System/State/Phone/CurrentOperater. After a reboot the change is gone.
thanks guys,
timsah

Hi, thank you for the suggestion, i am using a rom without Manila in combination with Spb Mobile Shell, so no need for co0kie's Home Tab Editor.
Everything works fine with Personalizer 3.1 anyway.
Hi all,
I have downloaded few tweaks & was trying those. I found that the phone is quite fast. But when I found that there is no SETTINGS menu available I was frustrated. I dunno exactly when it got deleted. How can I get it back to start menu? Can anyone let me know if any registry values to be entered to enabling it again? I believe that people here will help me out definitely. Is there any other way which from which i can restore the settings in start menu?
Thanks to you all in advance...
Waiting reply..... Please help me to get rid of this problem...
