Does anyone know of a simple Calendar plug-in for Today screen which will just show me the Month view? Preferably free... I have used Quick Cal but its not free. Also should be able to accommodated the HTC Today plug-in. Wish that had a calendar view in a tab!
Well I dont know quick cal, but maybe Calendar+ is something for you.

rl-today is another option. basic skins usually have the monthly view. though is much more (and more complex) than a today plug.in
Thanks I downloaded the rlCalendar. Really good since you can customize it so easily. Only if it had a calendar "scroll" option where one could see future months. But will do for the moment.
I have not tested rl calendar but in rl today it is really easy to add several months at a time. to have a button to go forward and backwards showing months you will need some more advanced stuff with rl-today and mortscript.

just wanted to know if there was something other than pocket breeze that can do this for me. I like that function of PB but I want to use those free task and calender plug-ins instead of the ones it comes with.
You can add any today plug-in to a pocketbreeze tab. Then just disable the built-in calendar & task tabs. Violia, you have what you want.
You can't disable the calendar tab. I use Wisbar Advanced Desktop to get multiple desktops. Not free, but that might work for you.
I love what I've seen from other people using WAD but I love my magic button and I hear that WAD is a huge memory vacuum. I guess I got to do what I got to do to make my wizard casting it's spells on my impressed friends, though.
I recently switched from XDAII to a TYTN.
Until now, no problems exept the calendar.
If I have like three appointments the next day, the device only shows me a maximum of two on the start screen, where on my XDAII the list was unlimited . Pretty annoying cause I'm used to see all of them when I switch my XDAII on and have an immediate overview.
Is it possible to change a setting so the calendar goes directly to the month lay out? Now I always have to toggle up via day, week, month or go via menu, view...
Also, if there are two appointments on the start screen and I tap on them, the device will always go to the "oldest" appointment.
Any settings I could change?
Thanks
No reply because it's so obviously simple or nobody knows..?
Anyone?
Come on guys, give me a tip here.
I did the normal stuff like going to start>settings>today>Items>calendar but then the "options" button is not available so I can't activate the "show all apointments".
What is a recently good and stable program to add programs/shortcuts on the today screen?
I looked into Claunch but that site is so old...
Pocket Breeze

I gave up on the OS Calendar today screen - no matter what options I selected, it would only display 1 day at a time... so I use PocketBreeze now... it very configurable, looks good, works well and seems compatible to WM6!

Not sure about the calendar issues.
Claunch may be old but it's a good one.
I use Wisbar Advance used in conjunction with Wisbar Advance Desktop. Can also be used for those cool customisations as well. Also permits multiple desktops so you can spread out your icons and plugins over several pages to save clutter. each desktop can be customised differently.

Hello,
Because, there is no such fonction in standard, I'm searching for an easy-to-use solution for displaying next appointments
For exemple, combining today agenda + second today is not an easy-to-use solution.
Manilla 3 came with a new calendar but without week view.
Is there really no solution to display next appointment dates on Manila home screen for exemple ? How guys you handle that ?
I dont know what you mean because appointments I type into my calendar are shown on the home screen one day before the certain date. I think you have to use a calendar that uses the outlook-database to save appointments.
Exact, but for a professional use, one day before the certain date is a too short term view..
I wish I could scroll the view until a week for exemple..
Why do you see using SecondToday as a hard option?
I use this with Spb Diary, and it is both easy to set up, and a doddle to use. It displays forthcoming events, bithdays etc in a clear, easy-to read list for the following 31 days.
I have it assigned to a long keypress on the left softkey, but it could just as easily be assigned to the calendar button

I tested 2nd today + Today agenda few month ago on my Polaris but I was not really conviced. I will try with spb regardless but I will stay frustrated that such a simple fonction as displaying upcoming appointments was so badly implemented..

Wellcome to the club, then. Most who use the HD as a professional tool complain of the same thing.
However, SecondToday does work well, and is only a button-press away. I have set up Spb shell to display just the Diary page as a full-page view, so can see loads of appointments.
I also have high hopes for the new Spb Shell v3 which is due to be released fairly soon, and might use that instead of TF3D.
that's the reason why I went back to the default Windows Mobile Today screen with SBP Diary and Calendar+

Eh, exactly what I talked about ! Have a look at this :

I've searched through tons of themes and seen some nice stuff, but haven't been able to find what I am looking for. I am trying to find out how to display more agenda and task information on my home screen, along the lines of a SBSH Facade for smartphones. Is this even possible within tf3d, or do I need to ditch it all together and pick up something different for a home screen?
i never use agenda thing,i go tradition.
i like to write all my notes (to-dos) in Phatpad, then put Phatpad shortcut in the desktop which you can access it in one click.
From time to time I will check all the notes. and know what has been done, and what are coming.
it's traditional way,but it's working for me, forget about agendas etc etc which you have to pin them in calendar etc. annoying.
I already have the ability to jump into pocket informant to check my schedule and tasks. I just want the ability to see more of that information displayed on my home screen. Is the home screen information open for adjustment at all?
upgrade to manila 2.5, it has the option to add shortcuts on the home screen in touch flow
how do i upgrade from
2.1 to 2.5. I have a Tilt 2 2 weeks out of the box.

Flash a Rom with 2.5.
Where do i find the 2.5 rom
I'm not sure what one to use off this board as I don't know how to interpret the headers as to which one i need:
[THEME][29/12/09][THE CELL THEMES][Professional V3 Now UP & Dark V6] Now WM6.5.3
I have no idea what this means other than something to possibly do with themes.
I am looking for a calendar/planner that allows me to view on a week by week basis. One that will allow me to see the week and all the appointments for the week.
If you dont know what I mean, then think about a filofax page that has the week displyed and the commtiments written in.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
dunno if i get it..but if you change the calendar(stock htc calendar) to week view and choose agenda from menu, it will show almost this...
It almost does what I need, but I am unable to see the detail [words] in the week view, I would arther be able to see the week graphically with each appointment readable, rather than swap between two different views.
Of course when I swap from week view to agenda and back again, it defaults to month view and I have to go back into settings to get back to week view.
Not ideal, however I am grateful for the suggestion.
Hi,
I'm using Jorte (free app), and it's very good. All details are readable and has nice widgets.
It syncs with Google calendar also.
Give it a try
I use Pure calendar and it sorts my home screen out into a monthly diary and the best thing is you can choose the size
