I have broken the USB connector on wizzard... I repaired (as I'm good with soldering skills) but it's not a nice job. I would like to buy another mini USB socket for it but I don't know the proper name for it or what to search exactly. Has anyone experienced that? where can I buy the socket from? any help appreciated.
Hey guys, I am trying to make a connection for my car and was wondering if the MDA outputs audio through the USB port. If it does could someone show me a diagram of which pins it is on a normal sized port assuming using the standard full size USB port to the mini USB cable. Could someone also show me which pins are the power input pins as well and will it take a source that outputs 5V DC at 1A. Thanks guys.

Try BlueTooth. Also, there is an HTC manual in the FTP folders, check it out.

I currently have the supplies to do it the normal wired way thats why I prefer it that way. Bluetooth would be nice though.
i dont think the usb outputs sound, which is why there is a headphone jack...

Thanks. sorry i thought i remembered someone saying that there was a headset that plugged into the usb port so i assumed that it might have output sound from the usb port if this were true. Can someone tell me which pins are the ones that supplies power?
Anyone would have this ? I've got so many old earphones available, would like to use one if I know how to connect wires to a miniusb plug.
Can you not buy an adapter for it?
I could, and I actually will, but I would like to know how it works too
Here's a link to make one;

Attached is Matt's diagram
Great ! Thks !!
That I can buy, that will plug into my auxiliary jack in on my Saturn Vue, so I can listen to music on the go?
Thanks
Wouldn't this be a better question for a Saturn forum? Good luck!
The auxillary jack is a 3.5mm headphone jack. Nothing abnormal.
So you're asking for a Kaiser USB -> 3.5" female adapter? 2-in-1 USB adapter (found on amazon) fills that need and you can charge at the same time.
You'd just need a male-male 3.5" cable in between the two for audio output. No need for bluetooth unless you want to get fancy, but you'd still need to charge your phone, so might as well use a completely wired solution.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the suggestion Alex, I already have this, but my problem is that my usb port was messed up , and now I can't use the wired solution. Otherwise I would stick with the wired.
Maybe something here
Mitch, I love you. Thanks, the Sony Ericcson was exactly what I was looking for.
Anyone know what wires from the USB would I solder to make my own adapter?
I don't have a CC at the moment and can't order overseas. Which of the 4 wires would I solder to the audio plug, which I have?
Has anyone used these with AKG 240's?
thanks in advance!
kaiser don't have a mini usb connector
it have an extUSB which is a mini usb connector
together with analog sound pins on the other side
of the connector
you can buy extusb converters for a few coins
however one can't make an miniUSB headset at all
unless the headset contain an usb soundcard and the
device support usbHost which kaiser don't
just get a dirt cheap conveter
but if you must do it youself then here are the pinouts

I have a spare adaptor. can list via feeBay so you could purchase from your own country.
Would be cheap (just enough to cover costs)
Just a thought, if of any use to you pm me.
