EDITED ON 29/12/2008: NB this cab does not work if you are using the Slide to Answer/Ignore Phone Canvas (see this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=464286), as although it restores the Contacts softkey it disables the slide to answer functionality.

I tried this and then I lost the slide to answer/ignore function and the curtain. Any other ideas for us CDMA users?

It's freezing in London, UK! Anyways...
I hate the o2 phone skin I am stuck with, I noticed once before after a hard reset there was a much nicer skin - im guessing it was the default WM5 skin...I know it was blue... Well - I want it back ..

To set or remove the operator phone skin
The setting is at 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin'
The 'Enabled' DWORD value can be set to '1' to show the operator skin or '0' to show the default skin

look for the post called "a collection of hacks" or something on those lines. I remember seeing a cab to change the phone skin...

the most interesting about it actually is that it will give you 10 Megs of RAM...if you can live without the videocalling.
My videocalling button appears to work. :?

How exactly do you get that extra space?? Does it require a hard reset or can you delete the extra files? If the latter which are the correct files to delete?
Hi there, I have a "problem" with the photo that appears when someone is calling. To be more specific, the size is very small. Is there an app that makes it bigger, like iphone for example?
You can use S2U2 and enable S2A (slide to answer).
Then you get full-screen photo and you need to use a Iphone-like slider to answer. Bonus is you won't answer accidentally anymore.

You need to enable Caller ID to Full Screen to get S2U2 to work with the Caller ID It's working really well on the Diamond. Might have a slight increase in speed if you disable the Diamond Dialer. But that's personal of course..

I find that after S2U2 it drains my battery much more faster. anybody else notice this...

Use Diamond Tweak to disable it. Just changehone Pad Style, from Diamond to Windows Mobile Standard.
One setting above this you can disable the Ring Time delay.

U can disable the Dialer keyboard and use system defalt,
About the contact layout, it's much more better with photo
while looking for caontact, and 100% compatible to outlook..
S2A 480x640 picture
it would be great if S2A can use pictures from its own folder, because the standard pictures are very poor quality, what i mean is if i can prepare jpg pictures in 480x640 resolution of people from phone book, name these pictures like contacts in phone book or numbers and S2A will use them instead standard ones. anyone know is it possible?
I've noticed too that s2u2 caller pics look kind of blurry. Is there any solution?

If you uninstall the program from your phone, it should automatically restore your original dialpad and missed call list.

Try out SPB Keyboard... that is an awesome one! Faster than the Touch HD one and finger friendly + skinnable.

i believe its a theme for the slide 2 answer program,(S2A) its the skin, not the program, search A_C S2A, he is the one who makes S2U2 program also

No, you're wrong.
This is a skin for the HTC dialer with Slide / Ignore feature.
Does this work for CDMA or GSM
does this work for touch diamond with wm dialer because i disabled the htc volume control and dialer to stop the 3sec ring delay.

That's just standard Opal Dialer what the OP wants is a hybrid of the Opal and Iolite, problem is that you can't just switch graphics because one has slider lower than the other & the silence in different position etc.
Hope someone will take the opertunity as i'd like this too as prefer the big silence and graphics layout but have big ears so need the curtain

I instaled cabs by mbarvian, and i got fullworking slide to answer and slide to unblock.
but there is no, mute ring bar.

The QVGA version is the normal Opal Dialer "I thought for a while back it was what you thought due to images so downloaded extracted .cab and the graphics are old Opal not Iolite with Curtain"
