Hello!
I've made a few enhancements to my little program; most of them were suggested by you on this forum, so I thank you for this.
What's new in v1.1:
- Fixed the "Autodetect" label bug
- Moved the "Cancel" menu item over the "Translate" menu item when processing a request
- "Set Default Languages" - saves the current language combination and restores it when application starts
- "Configure Language Set" - if you only want to use 3 or 4 languages yo may select a subset of the languages supported by the application to be shown in the interface
- Copy/Paste feature
- CAB file for easier installation
In order to download the CAB, please go to http://w0lfwmcoder.googlepages.com and press the download link.
Enjoy!
excellent work !
nice, thanks
thanks a lot man!!
this tool is awesome
definatly a useful tool at least it makes you barely understand few things which would be out of sight under a normal situation. thanks and keep up the nice work.
Thank you guys! I'm glad you like this little program.
In my first post I forgot to mention that I also fixed the character encoding bug, which was reported by v3patel here.

Hello, AthenaLod!
Several other people have had problems like that and it seems there are other applications that have this problem as well.
I've been looking into it, but with no results so far. When I find something out I'll surely let you know.
I seems to me like a corrupt installation of .Net CF 3.5; maybe you can try to reinstall it and let us know whether this solves the problem or not. The error you are getting is when the application is trying to set a textbox as readonly. shadowmike, for instance, has a similar problem because of the instantiation of a splitter control. These are pretty common operations and I don't know why they would throw any exceptions.
I've found some threads posted by several guys on msdn.com, but there are no answers yet
nice app, thanks for that!
Anyone know anything about data traffic?

Anyone know anything about data traffic?
Click to collapse
The data traffic is very close to the size of the text you enter to be translated and to the translated text.
For example, if you translate the text:
Code:
Welcome to xda-developers.com
This site is about certain PDA-phones, made by a firm called HTC in Taiwan.
Their makers named them 'Wallaby', 'Himalaya', 'Blue Angel', 'Wizard' and
'TyTN', but almost nobody knows them by those names. The mobile provider
O2 sells them under the brand-name 'XDA', and that's what we had in our
hands first. They're also known as Qtek, MDA, SX-56, Hermes and many,
many other names.
from English to French, you will make an upload of about 0.4 kB and a download of about 0.5 kB.
This is an approximation, since I'm at work right now and I don't have the actual sources.
If people find it useful, maybe I can include a feature to show the size of the data which is sent/received, but I don't think there's anything to worry about, because in order to make some serious traffic with it you have to be Shakespeare; I seriously don't think there's anyone who will write a 1MB text on the mobile phone.

You are right, you don't really see it on the Diamond, only if you know it's there.. Finally, no need to correct it. I just prefer the old icons. Maybe the new icons match better with the Diamond-Background.

Does this version had the wording message at the top of the screen "Dial ....."
Thank you for a great enhancement of my Diamond!
thank you! one observation: after BT off, BT on turns on the BT but does not "make the device visible to other" so i have anyway to open the commanger and the BT, and mode....and...
can BT on include making the device visible?
nice proggie though i never used it.
I do like it but just doesnt fully fit my needs.
I was wondering will you ever included a settings menu to control what tabs can be shown or not disabled?
This is because i dont use the note/tasks etc and rather have a contacts tab to view my contacts. This is so i can replace my left softkey which is contacts atm.
once again NJ

What is SwiftKey?
SwiftKey brings the future of text entry to smartphones. It uses TouchType’s breakthrough Fluency™ technology to predict the next word you want to type, before you even press a key.
Fast
With SwiftKey, your next word is predicted with such incredible accuracy that a third of suggestions are right first time and usually you won’t need to press more than two letters.
Accurate
SwiftKey uses advanced error correction, meaning grammar and spelling errors are a thing of the past. Typing with SwiftKey produces text you can rely on, in a fraction of the time it takes on a regular QWERTY keyboard.
Intelligent
SwiftKey doesn’t just predict regular words – it learns as you type and remembers how you write. As words and sentences are chosen over time, its Fluency™ engine creates a dynamic understanding of your writing style to boost the accuracy, fluency and speed of prediction.

But is it really that much better than the HTC keyboard? I'm not a fan of Swype to be honest. I like tapping much more, especially since I don't always use standard words, which can be annoying with Swype then.
Download:
1. Search for it on the android market.
2. Or use this QR Code:
Thanks for posting this.
I have to say Ive just tried this and it seems very good. Might be my favourite so far out of the Stock keyboard, HTC Mod, and Swype. Time will tell though. Only wrote a few texts with it, but it does seem quick.
So far, I quite like it.
I wish it would stop inserting spaces after punctuation and word selection though.
Other languages than English are supported ?
I like it a lot, also because it can learn from your sms history and HTC IME mod is extremely poor in dictionary.
So far it's working ok, but it needs some fine tuning in the interface and it allows just one language for now!

Was blown away by first message... typed a full sentence and only had to press the first letter of a few words and space bar the rest.
Have been using BetterKeyboard for a while now, but SwiftKey immediately outdoes it's prediction and easier to select other words. Hopefully this takes off and skins are developed etc... keys felt a touch smaller than BK.
edit: "I love you." = , [space], [l], [space], [space] - still has the same meaning

Not that I know about. I uninstalled it quickly after. I still love the Sense keyboard more.
With Sense you can type something like:
gey, egat ere yuu diing ronught?
It will actually manage to fix it to:
hey, what are you doing tonight?
Well, as long as there is no multi language support for this keyboard I will have to switch back to sense too. But I have to say the the Swift keyboard is the best keyboard I tried until now (besides the original keyboard).
Greetings,
Thomas
it' cool very cool.
But it's very boring that add a space every time.
If I want to add a three point I have to cancel the space.
For those of you that don't know G-Alarm was orginally made for Windows 6.5, it's probably one of the best and higest quality alarm apps money can buy. There is now a beta avaliable here for Android!
I'd advise you to at least have a look at it, it's got an obscene amount of customization. It was probably one of the apps I missed the most when I moved over to Android. The beta expires on the 20th of January, some features are disabled but you can't grumble.
And a big thanks to Pocketnow.com for finding it.

Get up with your favorite music
You can add your complete music collection or single MP3, WMA, MIDI and WAV files to a playlist and let G-Alarm fade it in to get you gently awakened.
In addition, you can randomize your playlist, force a specific volume or simply let your device vibrate.
G-Alarm for the "whole world"
G-Alarm is available in the following languages*:
English, German, French, Croatian, Czech, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), Hungarian, Arabic, Turkish, Japanese, Danish, Korean, Thai, Finnish, Indonesian, Chinese (traditional, simplified and Taiwan), Swedish, Slovak, Norwegian, Greek, Hebrew, Serbian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Ukrainian, Slovenian
Save battery power overnight
Using the integrated flight mode you can turn off the phone und therefore minimize the battery drain until the next alarm. Afterwards G-Alarm automatically turns your phone on again.
Talking clock
This feature allows you to not only see the current time but also hear it. You find all available packages on this page.
Are you a deep sleeper? Not with G-Alarm anymore
G-Alarm can optionally ask you some tasks to complicate closing or snoozing of an alarm. It can ask you a small calculation task or wants you to guide a ball through a maze.
You do not want to press any buttons?
If your device is equipped with a supported tilt sensor, you can snooze or stop an alarm by shaking your device or turning it upside down.
See your favorite picture
Change the background image and keep your dreams in sight even when you are getting awake. You can also change the complete look of G-Alarm by downloading new skins.
Weather of the day
If you use G-Weather, G-Alarm can show you the weather of the current day.
In case of emergency
Device broken? New device? With the new backup feature you won't lose any settings. You can simply export existing alarms and recover them anytime on any device.
Schedule the launch of other programs
Use G-Alarm to execute other applications at a certain point of time.
I sold my WM device few weeks ago.
One of the things I thought I will be missing was G-alarm.
Sometimes, I like the fact of being wrong...
Cheers
I used this. Mainly because the default WinMo alarm was useless.
Now with Android, and especially Sense. I won't need this.
Nice! I currently use Alarm Clock Plus.
But why isn't this in "Desire themes and apps"?

oh ****!! I missed G-Alarm a lot when leaving WM. Even though I bought Gentle Alarm from Mobitobi I wouldn't regret to have G-Alarm again on Android. Great
Finally a decent alarm clock! I sooo missed G-alarm after migrating from WM 6.5 to Android.
