Hi guys,
I was wondering if somebody could help me to solve the following issue:
Skype is using the speaker at the back side of my HTC Touch. But I want Skype to use the small speaker at the front side, similar to a normal phone call. I could not find any options to change this, I also checked the registry settings.
Thanks in advance

This is the one flaw with skype and VOIP and I don't believe there is a fix for this - I use Skype on my Elfin and use headset or headphones and it works clearly and perfectly for me. Hope this helps.
Check this out for a workaround for skype speaker issue:

does anyone know if there is a solution on Qtek S200 to transfer sound from back speaker to normal phone speaker?
thks
Anyone?
Please help
Not possible at the moment. Ive been searching the internet too, its a really pain i know.
I cant see the reasoning of Skype developers making it use the bigger speaker, its a bit mad.
PLEASE HELP
Guys, is there anybody who solved the problem with Trinity and Voip?
Anytime I tried to call someone via Voip the other side can hear me but I can hear nothing neither through earpiece nor the speaker on the back side. It doesn't matter which provider I chose. The same problem with all of them.
It works with skype but the sound comes through the back speaker.
I have searched for the answer in many forums here as well but in vain.
I have also spoken to HTC support but they couldn't help me as well.
It would be great if somebody could help me!!!
Hi to everybody,
I'm using skype 2.2 beta on my p3600, everything is working fine but I have a question for you...
The incoming call voice come from the rear speaker instead of the front speaker like a normal phone call.
So I need to increase the volume to ear properly or use a headset.
It is possible to redirect the sound (incoming voice) from the rear speaker to the front speaker?
Thanks in advance
Gianni
Thats the same with mine, and as far as I know there isn't a work-around for this yet.
Hi,
I have the same "problem". I tried also the following VOIP programs: Fring, SJPhone, Expresstalk and Wengo. All of them use the rear speaker for the incoming call.
For this reason I used headset.
I hope someone is able to find a solution for the front speaker.
Thansks
I'm sorry if I missed out any thread that is related to this problem, but I did try searching and couldn't find any that was dedicated to this problem.
I've tried many different voip software for my samsung i780 (running wm6.1) and each and every single from from fring to xten routes audio output through the speakerphone. Because of this, it becomes unusable in most circumstances. Is there any voip software out there that routes audio through the normal earpiece, or is there a hack to get around this problem?
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for reading, have a good one.
In my HTC TYTN II (KAISER) running WM6.1 the seaker problem in VOIP calls was solved after I install a software called TiVi. I only instal it, do not configure anything in this software and not use that to make calls. When I open the TiVi and minimize it, all calls by VoIP are in the normal phone speaker. The only problem is the volume very low.
Note: Is need to configure the VoIP before install the TiVi, using voipwm6.cab and Setup Voip for example.
Sorry for my bad english.
Bests,
Rodrigo.
