Manila customizer ?

hi Everybody,
does the cab "manila customizer" exist for the touch HD?
I'm was using it with my Touch pro but with my HD, it works but due to the differnet screen size, some menu buttons are missing.

Works for my HD...

I think Im with the original poster. There appears to be some buttons missing to actually set a change of icons etc.
Who has it working and if so, how ?

nobody to get it working in WVGA?

Got it working on mine. Not ideal but good enough to get things changed.
Heres what I did -
Installed this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=451694
Start the program from start>programs>vmode switch.
Select 480x640
Then press home button>programs
OPen Manila customizer and customize.
When finished, do a soft reset.
Worked on mine.
maybe someone will find a way of switching it (vmode) off when youve finished with manila customizer.

How to get a wallpaper on all tabs ?

I don't find the solution to get my own wallpaper on each tab of the touchflow ...

You can use the cab i've enclosed, It should work! dont forget to soft reset

I've already tried this cab, but it put a mess on my home, with a&t information and other languages ...

you probably didnt do anything wrong, it messes up a lot of peoples phones i think.
There are themes out there that have the background in all the tabs, i have installed a few of them and never had any of the problems i had with the cab file.

I had a problem with mun_rus's because it left white squares all over. I made one that worked and ive just swapped out my image for yours.

That works great on each tab, except home where i don't have anything. Just the wallpaper an top and bottom curtain. But no clock, no calendar, no more missed calls .....
I'm going crazy !

And the soft keys are going crazy too ! Before i had my contacts and second today, now i have contacts and menu ...

and the soft keys don't work ...

Weird - are you running standard manila?

Yes. A theme i downloaded here. Speed black i guess.
In fact each time i go back on the home tab, it keeps the spft key of the previous tab. And still no clock or calls/ calendar.
How did you do this file ?

Its mun_rus's mode9 file, but with my image embedded into the manila file. I used manila editor to change that.
Im running dutty's V4 rom with no changes to manila and it works perfectly.
I used quickcab to make it into a cab file

hey is there anyway to uninstall the file? it messed up my phone and i just want to uninstall it now =/

I tried Milillicuti's_Background.cab which was nice then tried to edit the cab file with my own wallpaper, maybe i dont know what Im doing but it stays as the same wallpaper and the big question is HOW do i remove file to go back to the default setting.
(NM i found the 2 files i needed to remove)

How do I uninstall this?! I installed and thought I could have my own custom wallpaper set as bg for all tabs.. DAMN!
How do i remove it?

i have a bette rquestion ? how to remove bckgrounds from the tabs? i have installed a rom, wwe george for my diamond but i dont like to have the same background for all tabs. I want the standard bckground for all tabs, just to change for the first, home screen.

TF3D Neon Tabs Theme
Still development in progress but so far I have managed to get the actual TF3D tabs to be in a type of "Neon" scheme.
I will be working heavily on this trying to go through all icons in TF3D making them Neon so there will be many updates to follow making this simply perfect.
Feedback more than welcome and opinions probably will be worked in.
Please note, people have confirmed this works on....

If you do try this on any other phone, please let me know the outcome, I should be able to adapt the files to work on any phone in theory
The Cab file is fully un-installable so if you don't like them, just remove the program in Remove Programs and you're back to normal.

hi everyboby, sorry maybie i make a mistake by posting here, but i got a little problem, when i extract the file i didint see any cab file, even when i put it on my storage card ,i can only see a setup, then double clic, and going straight to open a web page and nothing else, i did some reseach to know how to install the cab, can soemeone please help me about that i am totaly knew in wm, i got the tp2 answsome mobile, and i really like this forum, sorry mod maybie this is the wrong place to post , but really need advise pls .

There is no need to extract the file, it's a cab anyway.
Just copy the file to your phone and open it -it installs itself.

The slide part, the button that you hold to move and slide, the "block". Can't think what its called but its the rectangle block that you slide from left to right.

Ahh ok, you mean the slider .
I'm already using Lucarp's transparent slider.
I've attached it, so you can have a look for yourself what it does.

Looks good, I want it to be a bit narrower though I think, not 100% sure yet, haven't made my mind up. Think I'll have a play around and might incorporate it in my icon set.

Update
Updated icons to include people section and also added transparent slider and transparent bottom curtains in so no need for extra installs.

I can do them for the Touch HD too if needed. I just need the manila files uploading somewhere if someones prepared to do it?
Have you tried it on the HD? It might just work...?

Hi there, just want to say it works on my Touch HD Unfortunately I am using a chinese rom (Devilstone v3.7 with TouchFLO 34 2.1.38158.2), so I am not too sure if it will work with other cooked romr, just give it a try I guess~

How can I change from rows of 4 to 3.....

icons when I am viewing my icons in programs on the HTC DIAMOND. I'm using the EnergyROM DIAMOND 20090714 Standard rom? The icons are kinda small as is the writing, but other than that seems pretty nice.
I've tried changing setting in the tweaks, but no joy!

Just came from Energy Rom and actually liked the 4 per raw layout, but I have absolutely no idea how to restore it..
any hint please?

we are getting confused
I think we are getting confused between the Touch Flow programs panel (3 icons wide) and the Start menu / Programs window1 it is the Touch Flow programs window that I would like 4 wide.

4 Rows in 6.5 start menu

I have just installed the official 6.5 WWE upgrade. I want to change the honeycomb start menu to show 4 or 5 rows instead of 3. I have installed a couple of options from searching here but they do not not seem to work. Can anybody help?

yeah i too would also like to know this, having 4 icons per row looks much better in my opinion, and doesn't take as long to scroll to the bottom!

just tried them out:
Ark_Hexagon 4 row.cab - gave a honeycomb style (with honeycomb outline)
WM6.5 Start Menu 4 7.cab - didn't work for me (however didn't soft reset so thats probably why lol)
BharS StartMenu Grid WVGA.cab - Is exactly what we were looking for, 4 icon wide start menu!

You have to SR after install in order for it to work.
Ark and LCW are honeycomb versions. Others do not have honeycomb in them.
Sorry no patience for screenshots yet...maybe when i get more time...

Yup it can be done. Edit the cpr files in the cab with notepad.

Doesn't works well, a bit out of line, i don't hink this is for WVGA.

ISO-8859-1__Showaco All_Programsv4.1_4ICON.cab
does not work for me with WM 6.5 Sense 2.1, icons and letters are cut.
Is there another tool/cab?

Is it possible to remove the Start Menu Wall paper totally, I like to have a plain black background. I have been searching and googling for it, but it seems that so far none has posted anything on it. Not for the TF3D2, but just only the Start Menu background.
Can it be done?
