I just wanted to report 8GB sandisk micro sdhc card working perfectly in my wing
that's cool, I might consider buying one now
I have tried my transcend 4gb micro sd card, but no luck. It will recognize it then it will not recognize files on it ie. stating that they are not available. Newegg by the way is awesome giving me a refund with no hassel or loss of money. So my choice to buy now is a adata sdhc class 6 4gb, or a kingston sdhc class 4 4gb. Does anyone use either one of these brand cards with a windows mobile 6 rom that is the official one from att. I did have a sandisk 2gb class 6 that worked rain or shine.
thanks for the help,
Nicholas
Gadget : Softbank X01HT
WM 6 Pro
SDHC : Transcend 4 GB
Works just fine...
Wew, weird, both with the same capacity, same brand but not working well on one machine. I suggest SanDisk SDHC, though hadn't try it yet, but this brand is far good enough, no means to promote yeah
4gb Sandisk works just fine on mine.
What is the largest capacity SDHC card that this phone can accommodate? Has anyone tried 16 GB or 32 GB cards yet?
biggest card I'm using up to now is an 8GB card from sandisk.
16 Gb from SANDISK works perfectly...
16G Kingstone works perfectly as well.
That's good news.
Brought a 8G Kingston the other day.Installed it into the device but cannot detect it.Put in a 4g and it was able to detect the 4g card.Call up the HTC support and was told that only scandisk brand of memory card can be used.

Good thing my 8 gig happens to be Sandisk.
I'm using 16gb scandisk, working fine.
As far as I know, SD 2.0 (SDHC) is fully supported by the jade, i. e. cards up to 32gb.
Unfortunately the highest available capacity for micro SD is 16 right now :>

I think I saw a 32gb one at Amazon or Newegg ............... prohibitively expensive though.
What is the highest Class supported? Class 6 or higher?
i use 8gb Kingston (micro-SDHC, Class 4). works fine with my jade.
Quick question guys, i have searched, is the TD2 compatiable with microSDHC?
Where did you search, a good place to start would be the specifications section, although does just say SD 2.0 compatible. A quick google on SD 2.0 would get you the answer though.
(Oh yeah, it is microSDHC compatible)
yes, the topaz is compatible with SDHC up to 16gb
Yeah, should do. microSD 2.0 is microSDHC. I've bought a sandisk 16gb card (class 4) for my phone. Still hasn't arrived though, so can't confirm anything. But according to specs it should be a perfect match

Could you check if your card is really class 4 (maybe test it transferring large files on it using a fast adapter? Most card I have seen are class 2, and the one of the only class 4 was subsequently reported as class 2 in a (rightfully angry) user review.
Juts curious, I already have ordered a 16GB sandisk class 2, which seems (by far) the most common 16GB card available. No test yet (still waiting for my card AND my TD2 ;-) ), but others have reported the combination to work and the class 2 speed more than enough for the phone, only the transfer from PC to card may suffer. The other potential area where write speed is important is video recording and photos in rapid succession....But I think VGA recording will not tax the card, and TD2 is not able to take shots in that fast a succession...

Hi,
I have a 16GB sandisk class 2 currently in my phone and it works fine. I have played a few divx/avi files off it fine. Haven't tested the video recording though.

thanks for the feedback buddy
sandisk ultra is class 6, the normal cards are class 2
i have to correct it:
the 1,2,4 and 8GB ultra cards are class 6, the 16GB is still a class 4
normal sdhc cards are 2
i have a class2 8GB card works flawlesly
I would hope it is. My Elfin is running with a 16GB micro SD. It would be toture if I got it and it didn't. %100 sure it does though.
i have Sandisk class2 16gb on my new Diamond2 and it works 100% fine
does not work
i have just bought a 16gb sandisk sdhc card and it will only show up as 4gb in my phone and laptop and i have also been told the phone does not support sdhc buy a memory card retailer

For the record... I have a Kingston 16GB SDHC. Works like a charm.
Me too... been running a Class 2 16mb Sandisk since day one and no problems.
Does anyone know if a class 6 (16G) will work in the Topaz?
I didn't see differences between class 2 and class 4.....
I'm using Kingston 8GB class 4
+1 for the Class 2 16mb Sandisk.

I've just changed from the Class 4 8mb Sandisk, and the difference in speed loading up the card with music/video is minimal. I think the TD2 itself is maybe limiting the speed more than the "Class" rating. There might be a bigger difference if using an external card reader to write to the card.

Class 2,4,6 should all work. I would think the brand is more critical than the Class, which only gives some indication of max writing (not reading) speed.
After trying with 2 different brands of Class 6 16G SD cards with no luck whatsoever, I decided to go with a Class 2 and works flawlessly.
I didn't want to waste more time with a Class 4, for now, but maybe I will test it in a little while.
Thought id get the ball rolling on this, i have tried a Lexar 32GB Mobile Micro SDHC Card- Class 10, in my Lumia 820, and it did not recognize it, i have tried reformatting the microSD. But have had no luck getting it to work with this device.
Sandisk 16gb class 2 is working.
