credit goes to scorpio16v in the diamond forum. the attached cab will allow for 4 icons instead of 3.

You are right, but i think Diamond tweak isn't 100% compatible with Touch HD. So it is better to keep the specific cab

what clock are you using?
I am currently trying out 5 icons across my screen using settings of 90 (horizontal), 110 (vertical) and 5 (font size). I quite like it - it means even less scrolling too!

But Schap's Advanced Config, currently at version 3.3, IS compatible with the HD. I set my scroll bar size to 19 (up from the HD default of 13 - which makes it WAY more thumb friendly!) and set horizontal icon spacing to 110, which makes 4 perfect rows WITH a big fat scrollbar

I have 6 icons per row. My values are
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\IconConfig\HorizontalIconSpacing =75 (Dword)
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\IconConfig\IconTitleFontSize=5 (Dword)
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\IconConfig\VerticalIconSpacing=110 (Dword)
It's like having realVGA without installing one.
Note: this is on my Athena (my HD hopefully will arrive on Monday), but should work on HD.

Here is your screenshot. I had to bring the horizontal value down to 88 to get 5 on each line, because of my big fat scrollbar, but you can see what it would look like. Incidentally, after taking this shot, I upped the font size to 6, and it's much easier on the eyes, which you can see in the 2nd shot.

use advance config 3.3 you can find the relative key under user interface submenu, set it from default 13 at for example 19 or more if you want a very fat one

In my current Athena ROM, the IconConfig key is'nt even there. So, I believe by deleteing the key it would be the default too.
Such key can be added again later if you change your mind.

hihihi, i think you may have PROBLEM with that idea..., as you need to edit core dll's, and file may be broken anyway by reshacker/restorator...
i.e. - i am trying to change start menu m$ icon, although it seems to be possible, still no idea, what is wrong with file i am getting after resource exchange(menu(!) icons are changed, gfxes messed up despite of only 1 bitmap change)....
need help with it...
as far i remember file which is keeping many of sys gfx is coredll.dll.0409.mui, or coreres.dll.0409.mui.
"close image" may be there too.
every system image may be changed; although some dlls AREN'T accesible with restorator/reshacker.. ;/
i think you may try to use wisbar advance - it is HEAVY program ,but you may draw light wise skin for x-button(and other icons on taskbar) for it(button may be wider)...this is only thing i could recommend(...but not on omap cpu's lol)...
best effects on wm03 i had with icbar:
(sry i had gif for what i am talkin' about)
you rather cannot make taskbar taller, so wider buttons may be what you need...

You may want to look at BatteryStatus plugin as one of the feature is to change the X button size.
- added: DWORD CloseButtonWidth ( create this registry-value and set it to 60 will span the [x]-button over the clock for a finger friendly handling ) 2Pe_�a@Nw

This doesn´t work for me, dunno why Every other registry change works but this one not. I downloaded and installed the version from pxdxa.com and it should be build 0236, but when you install it, it shows build only 0235!
Full version name sounds: Ver. 1.04.203 beta4 Build 0235
Any suggestions?

Sorry, no idea, can't help further as I use "Ok" button to close program so I don't use this plugin.

Installation instructions

added a registry file tweak to overcome this and other problems

basically using the same icons yet modifying the transitions to incorporate a cool 3d effect while creating a totally new animaiton between 2 application sides of the cube

Advanced Configuration Tool worked for me:
Menu --> More Settings --> TFLO 3D ---> change date to "dddd d MMMM yyy" (or whatever format you want) and hit "change" then "OK". THe program may minimize by itself, so you can quit from task manager if that happens.
Hope it works for you, too.

Same here, whatever I try, it doesn't change the date format on the home screen.
I change the date format manually, by editing the manila file.

I thought the question from first post was about showing Date at the level of Operator i.e Vodafone IT/TIM, and not changing date format under the clock?
TF3D config just changes date format under the Clock number, and does not push date up to Operator level or i'm going blind?

On my (german) Toch HD I have only the short version of date, showing e.g. "17.12.08". Is it possible to include the weekday without installing advanced config tool?

icons when I am viewing my icons in programs on the HTC DIAMOND. I'm using the EnergyROM DIAMOND 20090714 Standard rom? The icons are kinda small as is the writing, but other than that seems pretty nice.
I've tried changing setting in the tweaks, but no joy!

just tried them out:
Ark_Hexagon 4 row.cab - gave a honeycomb style (with honeycomb outline)
WM6.5 Start Menu 4 7.cab - didn't work for me (however didn't soft reset so thats probably why lol)
BharS StartMenu Grid WVGA.cab - Is exactly what we were looking for, 4 icon wide start menu!

You have to SR after install in order for it to work.
Ark and LCW are honeycomb versions. Others do not have honeycomb in them.
Sorry no patience for screenshots yet...maybe when i get more time...

Yup it can be done. Edit the cpr files in the cab with notepad.

Doesn't works well, a bit out of line, i don't hink this is for WVGA.
ISO-8859-1__Showaco All_Programsv4.1_4ICON.cab
does not work for me with WM 6.5 Sense 2.1, icons and letters are cut.
Is there another tool/cab?
Is it possible to remove the Start Menu Wall paper totally, I like to have a plain black background. I have been searching and googling for it, but it seems that so far none has posted anything on it. Not for the TF3D2, but just only the Start Menu background.
