TOMTOM3 Speed Camera Warning

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is any freeware version of speed camera warning software for the UK, compatible with TOMTOM3. I know its a longshot but what the hell!
Anyway if not, what is the cheapest/best one available.
Your experiences please.

Have you ever tried CheckPOInt? I'm using it herer in Germany.

Not tried it until now, but i'm nearly 100% sure, that they are available via synchronisation. It workes fine for me. You can not download them manualy and install them to your device. You have to synchronize the,. So you're able to keep them easy uptodate.
Try it out. It's for free.

Try www.pocketgps.co.uk, click on speed cameras on the left and you'll get to a database of all UK cameras. I use it with POIWarner, which was very cheap and very good

Anyone know where you can get free POI's from? I know, I'm a cheapskate.

However, i frequently have to drive late at night , when the roads are empty. Sometimes I may go 35 when the speed is 30!
A warning system would be good!

er... yes read my last post :roll:

CheckPOInt works fine and does cover UK speed cameras/traffic light cameras/section cameras, etc

Pretty good i think (personally). I used to have a snooper S6-r neo and pay for the updates and that wasn't better!

We have a little over 3000 camera sites plus red light cameras and mobile locations.
Unlike the majority of other Safety Camera databases we still maintain a human input to weed out duplicates and erronous submissions.
The actual number of camera locations in the UK has never been revealed, it was rumoured to be 5000 but I'm reliably told that it's nearer 4000 physival locations with mobile sites making up the remainder.

"Email us either your OV2 file or ASC file and we will work out which cameras we don't have and which cameras we do have. Please be careful when adding cameras not to add false ones"
How do I actually update the ov2 file. I am running TT3 with Checkpoint.
There is a new Truvelo round the corner from me and would like to add it in the database.

I think the network operators have blocked the website but make it look like a server error as skype has been taking a huge toll on their revenues recently.

i don't use manila so im not sure but i think it should work fine

I ask you because after install LEOALBUM i can't see Videos on my phone...
The Album crashed...

Well I installed it last night but it broke my Album. While in TF3D, the pictures scroll very slowly and when you open a picture up you can't get the menu portion and the pictures won't scroll at all.

it has to do with policy 101a in the reg, i think. just search for it you sholuld be able to find a cab somewhere but since others are having problems i would not install it unless your ready to do a hard reset.

You need to have Internet Sharing in the ROM in order for this to work...

Router - Error
When attempting to open the Comm Manager after installing this Wifi Router App, I get the message "Comm Manger doesn't support 'MobileWifiRouter.'"
I had this on my TP, and it came in very handy, would love to get this on my TP2.

Hi, i am using Sprint TP2. been searching for this app for a while. The tom codon didn't work. But i this one is worknig for me. After installing you'll find new folder called "COMMUNICATION" under start menu. this app placed under this folder.

Can anone confirm that it works ok on the HD2? Because the forum says it has been developed for Kaiser but should run ok on WM 6/6.1 devices, I've been hesitating to try it on my HD2, with Artemis v27 ROM (with WM 6.5.5). Anyone tried that already?

i use makisu for email and wifi settings, which is sashimi's little brother (same website), and it works fine, You shouldnt have any problems. Lots of epople use sashimi all the time.

You see - This is why people use firefox - because it's simply better
Try use internet explorer, there isn't a reason for it to not work, all the servers are online.
EDIT: oh sorry, just read you tried IE.. hmm let my try and get the direct link for one of the servers.

Hey, thanks for these!!! I have been looking for a way to find hTC hub content for my hTC Droid incredible 2 on Verizon. Since Verizon blocks content/access to hTC hub & hTC sense com on this phone, these are some goodies. Also trying to create an xda account on the stock browser shows Verizon blocks xda too.
Are there any new wallpapers since your OP? Seeing that was a while back, also could you get any skins for sense 2.1 that they might have on there, that would be awesome!!! I am also interested in checking out some of the notification sounds they have too.
