We developped a fun party game for the Touch Diamond and it's GSensor.

I would like to learn how to program Windows Mobile and the idea I had was very similar to this. I'm kind of at a loss as to how to actually get started. This would greatly assist me in moving forward.

start with installing visual studio 2008, sdk's for windows mobile 6.1 with vga support, then do anything in vb or c++ or c#... you would like to make ...

Is it possible to customize the background? For example suppose I wanted to add a background with the numbers 1-6 on it to make this a cool game spinner. Or maybe add something else. Can this be done?

The application mockup is done in JavaME. The UI engine powering all the animation is from UK's Tricastmedia - TWUIK

I dont think this can be used on a pocket pc, since it's not java oriented.
S60 will work.

hamoda-t: notice that you need a touchscreen, which not all mobiles have, in fact only few do.
I don't remember Nokia being tactile? (but I don't follow Nokia scene development).
And Windows Mobile has a built in Java virtual machine....

Tricastmedia has WM5/6 compatibility for TWUIK, so... It can run without problems since TWUIK is cross platform, using Java or native PPC code or any other supported platform. Read @ Tricastmedia page.

(a) say you'll do it later
(b1) get a PPC screen shot program (freeware)
(b2) get a PC screen shot program (freeware)
(c) get a theme maker to load it (freeware)
(d) just save the preview from www.pocketpcthemes.com (e.g. where you got it). Or point a link to it.
(e) just being lazy and describe about it (which car the theme is, body parts of the car, .. or just say it is car theme?)
(f) say something and heck care about it.

Samsung OMNIA as a WQVGA (400x240) resolution, and most of all applications is designed for VGA and QVGA resolutions (640x480 and 320x240 respectively).
OMNIA game control is difficult if you want to use d-pad buttons or directional keys.
So, I was just wondering, if some one can develop an emulator that simulates d-pad buttons and action buttons on OMNIA and make use of the 1/3 of the screen unused for VGA and QVGA applications.

on the java games (320x240... es: Block breaker deluxe 2) there is a similar virtual pad on the unused piece of screen....

If you're after an exact copy of MSPaint then CEPaint is what you're after, though again it's not free.

i cant find a simple calc with digit group since WinMo (ex: 1000000 => 1.000.000) , why is this not a standard? waiting for your update

I would tone the blue down a little bit, it seems just a little too bright when compared to WP7, and the numbers look a bit stretched too.
