If you thought Opera Mini 4.1 was fast.....
To install:
Point IE to mini.opera.com/beta
Click on 'Install a previous version' to get a signed one that doesn't prompt every time you use it.
If you're using Onyx ROM or others with embedded Opera Mini, best thing to do is empty the Windows\AppDB folder before installing, then it will install as App S0, and all shortcuts etc will still work. If you dont want to do that, or if you have other Java stuff installed, you'll need to edit any links to Opera Mini to point to the new app number.

Thanks For The Advice All Opera Users Should Install This Way
Moved this to dev & hacking since it wasn't quite device specific. Also it will attract more views here than in Elf fora

I've been trying to log in to My Sky on Sky.com using the stock version of Opera that came with my HD. It comes up with an error saying that Javascript is disabled. I have looked in the settings and checked that everything is enabled. I also tried the version of IE that came with the phone and have the same problem.
I have done a search on these forums but couldn't find an answer. Does Javascript work with Opera and/or IE and how would I enable it?

Yes I have the same problem but it worked for me on opera version 15223 with the flash lite 3.1 ce version! Hmm maby I´ll downgrade it.
This may be a stupid question but how do I find out what version of Opera I am currently running? If it's not 15223 then I shall give that a try.
Hi!
I've downloaded the last version of Opera from his webpage, and I have intalled. When I try to run it, appears a loading bar and it doesnt do anything more. What can I do? I've tried to download two other different versions from de xda opera thread but they did the same
Thank you

Strange.
I've downloaded and installed the 9.7beta on my touch dual and works good !
What rom do you have on your one?
clean6. with insomnia I had no problem, because is embedd
Does this Rom have some experimental graphic chip drivers for 3d acceleration? If yes this certainly is the problem opera tries to use it for rendering, but due to issues with the drivers (from htcclassaction) it just crashes.
try using the latest opera 10 beta
yes, i'm using the opera 10 beta and it works perfect
I'm using 10 beta but it won't let me use the htc keyboard or keypad only the crappy keyboard or scribe. Is there a setting somewhere?
(Using stock HTC win 6.1 rom)
Does anyone know where to get a working copy of adobe flash 10.1 for the aria. I remember hear before they got it to work but am not sure of where to get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How? lol
I installed it and so far no difference. I believe its installed as I see it under Manage Applications. Well wait, in the native browser when I click on video content it shows up with a play button, when I hit play it plays right in the browser really choppy though. Does this confirm its installed correctly? If so, why so choppy? Is it because the Aria has a processor under 1ghz?
No, the file posted above is NOT working for anyone running 2.1. What you guys are seeing in the browser is Flash Lite, which was ALREADY present and working on the Aria before you installed the above apk.
Again, do not install the apk posted above. It's just wasting space on your phone and not actually being used by the browser.
I installed the Flash 10.1 for Android 2.1 w/ sense. My understanding is that the flash 10.1 was altered to replace flash Lite. According to the Adobe website my flash version is 10.1.123.425. So I think one of them works.
See your flash version at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
That is what it says I have and I didn't install anything.
Sent from my HTC Liberty using XDA App
Yea it doesn't do anything. I can tell it loaded a page and quickly said htc flash or something.
I removed the 10.1 install and went to the page, no change.
So yea, don't bother with it. Useless.
But you can install Adobe Air!
http://phandroid.com/2010/07/02/install-adobe-air-for-android-now/
How do you remove the 10.1 install? I am not sure where it got installed :\
You just goto Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications
D'oh! I had gone in there previously but for some reason, I missed it.
Thanks!
is there a test site
I installed this right away before it was said it wouldnt work but whats the difference between the lite and the full i didnt do any testingbefore i installed it but all the sites i have tried work fine, im using stock rom i installed it using sdk but i play games on miniclip.com and i went to a flash test site and tried all the videos and and samples they had and all worked fine. i did not do any tests before.
is there a site i can go to that will show me its not working before i remove it thanks. also one thing i did notice is that before i installed i saw something somewhere i think it was in applications and i think it was com.htc-flashlite or htcflashlite something like that and i dotn see it anymore but i do see htc flash player and adobe flash 10 before i installed it i did do a clear cach on the htc flashlite whatever that was(prolly just a flash lite bright screen) but i cant find it now not sure where i saw it.
Hi All I read this article in androidcentral and thought many would be interested. here is the link
Enjoy!
I think I saw this posted on Androidspin as well and tried it but using the stock browser and couldn't get it to work. Maybe I'll try again with DHD.
All you need is right here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1010606
I haven't tried the APK from that thread. I used the "old" method that worked similar to the 10.1 hack. With Flashplayer 10.3 installed: download the zip (in the thread above), unzip it, and using Root Explorer (or similar) copy the file to: /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib
This will overwrite an existing file (you can always re-install Flashplayer if things go wrong). Then using a browser that lets you change the agent to "desktop", you can view Hulu. I use Dolphin, but I believe xScope will work also.
All the hack is doing, is tricking Hulu into thinking you are on a desktop computer, instead of a phone. The stock browser does not have the ability to change the agent, so that is why this hack won't work on the stock browser.

you need to sideload it. search google for the apk and install it by transferring it to your phone. Make sure you have install from unknown sources enabled under the security settings.

Download xscope browser, first time you open it it prompts you to download flash and you click the button and it's done.

If you are using OS android 4.4 kitkat then you will have install flash player manually
1. Enable the installing of APK files by checking Unknown Sources on the settings just like on Android Jelly Bean.
2. Download the Boat or Dolphin Browser from the Google Play Store.
3. If you are using Dolphin, download the Dolphin Jetpack app as well from the Play Store.
4. Download the Adobe Flash version 11.1.115.81 on your mobile device using a browser or to the computer. You need to copy and paste the APK to the mobile device if you downloaded it on a computer.
5. Go to the File Manager then tap on the APK to install Adobe Flash.
6.As the installation complete, launch Boat or Dolphin browser then go to the browser’s settings to enabled Flash plugin.
Once your device has Adobe Flash, mobile browsers can now access and load Web pages with Flash content displays just like desktop browsers.
