SRS: Win2k3SE=>Win2k3

Here I Post all SRS versions (in case you need) made by ABC. -=We all waiting you! =-
SRS: will simply allow your Pocket Pc with Windows 2003 to rotate screen using some buttons on Today screen or just in your Settings.
Just Download and Run on your pc,it will extract the .CAB file,put this Cab to your Pocket Pc and run it.
This is NOT a final version,only some applications will run in Rotaded Screen,it is recommended to do a BackUp of your system before installing it.
You will need ROM version 1.72 on your Pocket Pc (some reports using on 1.60 too).

Here you are a Landscape supporting theme.
NOTE: You will need to refresh the screen moving to a theme,
to refresh go to START-Settings-Today-Items- and press OK.

SRS.cpl = 30/10/2004 (latest SRS?)

After installation go to Start Menu -} Settings -} Today and select "WMSE" from the Today Themes List

This is the SRS CAB file included with Deafult Windows 2k3SE Theme. Nothing more.

With WMSE Theme he mean that Space Theme is supporting Second Edition Landscape screen.

Not sure if it's related but I use NVD322 for screen rotation and WM2003SE themes and yes there is that delay and yes sometimes it is deadly.

No,it is not.
These are dll's from Windows Media Player 9 Series from a Windows Mobile 2k3 Second Edition.

What do you mean to "delays" ?

I Created a Landscape an a Portrait Phone Skin..maybe it can be useful in some..
I noticed Landscape Skin is installed but it is not appearing on phone..

Aldo this is not exclusive to the 1.72 ROM, im using 1.66 ROm and no problems.

[APP Update 12.12.08] Commandline WeatherDatabase Editor (add new locations to TF3D)

I read on the below mentioned page that adding new cities to TF3D was really easy, and they were right,
the only problem is that i don't want to install something that I'm only going to use once

So I created my own version, which does the same as the WeatherDatabaseEditor from andreas.falke
with the exception that it requires minimal user intervention so it can be used in SDConfig.txt or similar solutions.
Also if your country is not listed it will make a new entry in the country list.
It has been tested on my MDA Compact4 (Diamond + Dutty's V1.7 Rom)
And it works like a charm, let me know what you think
I'm not sure if it will work on any other device, but because the Diamond is the first of many TF3D devices
the generic "Development & Hacking" forum seemed to be a better choice,
MODs please move this topic if you think it should be in the Diamond App's section.
Currently you'll get a popup when the app is completed, I might change this in future version(s)
Don't forget to edit locations.txt prior to running the app!
Requirements:
- CF.Net, I tested this with 3.5 not sure if it works with 2.0
How To:
1. Save/Unzip (I advise in the internal Storage) just put the files in a folder.
2. Edit locations.txt, there are already a couple locations in there, Region is optional and first line can be ignored.
3. run CmdWC3.exe
4. To be save do a softreset
To Do :
1. Remove the currently selected Cities (or atleast an option to remove them)
2. Make popup optional
3. new version which has an interface, silent operation would be done by arguments "\Storage card\CmdWC3.exe Silent"

Dutty's Full 1.7 & 1.8 - Works
SwiftBL v6.0 - Works
SCv2.8 NL_Black - Fails
TLR 3.08.07.16 - Fails *
Bepe 0.97 - Fails *
DIB Diamond v1.22 neon - works (thanks Teto )
udK Syrius HD - Failed (Fixed in V5)
* issue is twofold, it looks like they use a different layout of the manila file... working on it

I recently changed to the udK Syrius HD Rom, but CmdWC3 didn't work, so
made a new version.
My advise, First run Version 3, if this doesn't work run version 5
Restart* and you should be able to select the proper city.
At least that was what I did with the Syrius Rom.
*I just tried with restarting TF3D only and that also seems to do the trick.
Please let me know if it worked (or not) and which Rom you are using.

I added it to my list and it did work, do you have a German version rom?
if so what is the foldername of the Windows folder?
I think the App cannot find the manila files...

The Windows Folder is called "Windows", also standard.
but your cab .exe file is in the internal 4GB Storage, called "Interner Speicher" in german.

The internal Storage naming sholdn't be an issue, I think it has to do with Bepe's rom, the orriginal idea (and application) has the same issue

which one are you using premium, basic or lite?
I know TLR has tweaked TF3D to be uninstallable (whatever that may mean)
so there are some diffrences..
Could you check if you have the 2330fc3c_manila and _2330fc3c_manila (in \Windows folder)?
could be that they are hidden...
Just so i have it right, the entry does not show up in TF3D...right?
Also could you post the 2330fc3c_manila file?

Small update, I've checked bepe 0.97
it seems that he's using a slightly different version of 2330fc3c_manila
which doesn't have the Countries listed, also
the application cannot change the properties of the file to be able to write to it...
Checking if the Countries are mentioned is not the problem, fixed that already
it is setting the file overwritable thats the issue..
I'm sorry but i don't see a solution besides manually copy pasting a already fixed 2330fc3c_manila & _2330fc3c_manila to the windoes folder...

I can post it but it could very well be my user error. I know that when listing cities in the U.S. the go in a little diffrently on all of the Accuweather programs. How is your command line program set up to recieve the US cities and I will try that first.

The setup is like

Code:

Not sure how/where you would get the data, maybe this helps:

I'm trying to add:
Canada,Newfoundland,St. John's,NAM|CA|NL|SAINT JOHN'S
It is complaining about the ' character. I believe your SQL statement is getting confused by the ' in "St. John's" and "SAINT JOHN'S". You need to make sure when you read from the text file you encapsulate the string with quotes like "<string>" before you try to insert into the DB...

Yup ur thread is huge ... & i am a non HTC user but till now no update on the hex ver of ur latest m2d version. Dont get me wrong i do support ur work but then it has been so long.

This is equivalent to the 19b non-htc update (as the version I saw in Manilla2D.exe) and there's no point keeping another thread like this.

Where should I install the M2D because no mather where I select to install (in storage card or ram disk) appear a message that tell me i don't have enough memory and I should expand it in order to complete the instalation.

How to install a theme?
Intall TF3D Config
1. Create a file named "theme" on your internal storage. Put the file xxxxxx.theme inside
2. Open TF3D config and go to the tab "Appearance"
3. Press "path" on the top of the screen.
4. Choose the folder where you have put the .theme file.
5. Choose your theme in the section just below the button "PATH"
6. Press APLY and OK.
7. let the PPC works and press OK when it's finished.
Soft reset.
I'll not answer to any more questions about the installation. Follow the instruction on the thread of the TF3D Config

Just tried both your new ones, and i have to say that this is my fave of the 2.

All of your themes are brilliant, but I like this one the best! One problem though, on my vzw touch pro, the theme installs fine and all looks perfect EXCEPT landscape. I don't get any of the icons on the right, just a blank spot. I've tried several different wallpapers with the same results.
Any ideas how I can correct this??

[SOLVED] Latest 2.5.20153712.0 Manila with Twitter / Documents / Stock tabs

Can someone tell me how to get Twitter/ Stock / Documents tab working in manila 2.5.20153712.0?
Somehow i end up with an unstable manila when i try to add these tabs.

Can't seem to get Documents tab working on 2014 or 2015 manila
while i had it working in previous versions. Perhaps somethings is missing
in my source files?

Hi. Try editing the file again and look at the order. Ensure that the numbers are sequential 123456789 etc.

The 0409 dir is empty so the tab should be multilingual anyway Attached my 26948339_manila file too - I use all tabs + Docs, Footprints and Twitter but NOT Stocks in this file.
On a semi related note is anyone else having problems after syncing with MyPhone on Oboe based manila? I've tried with the People tab ext's from Leo 1.80 and 3.01 but both hang after syncing, and stay hanged after soft-reset Not using Oboe People tab as the Facebook part of the tab, though enabled in my reg, causes it to hang after visiting the Facebook link page...

I use Manila_DocumentBrowser_2_5_20143826_0_CFC

Works fine for me, i've attached my 26948339_manila file so you can use it.
All tabs enabled ( so also Facebook is applied ) so you'll have to take out what you don't wish in your rom

Here you are. But take care, i have cleaned it up. So it only contains German language. But you can take the English files from another build

Does anyone have issues with messages preview when cooking the Documents Tab?
I receive messages notifications but no preview in the message Tab so I have to change Tab and than back to message tab again to see the preview.
Removing Documents Tab fixes the problem???
