Hey All,
Is there any way to make the speaker louder? This is for general music playing, as well as speakerphone etc. On the XDA2 you could turn it up to the point it distorted...but the i-mate etc dont seem to go that high.
is there any 3rd party program to boost the speaker volume (i know it wont go that much higher without distortion, but the option would be nice).
Cheers,
Jez.
me too
This is the only thing, in my opinion, that is not perfect about htis device. I wish the speaker was a little louder for speaker phone. Also, it would be great if someon could figure out how to make speaker phone kick in automatically when you use voice dial.

Thanks

Hello,
The speaker is small and can hold only a minimum dbs of sound. If it becomes more louder, you get the sound distorted and may spoil the speaker's cones too. But for low volume sounds, you may try boosting!
Hi Carty, how do you boost the sound?
Cheers

Unless you find a way to fix, I say don't bother, every device works different with these types of tools. I tried the other sound booster, can't think of think of the name, but anyways, after installing it, I lost sound everywhere, speaker and earpiece and had to hard reset.
SRS Wow, that's it!
Hello all, I recently went to skin my Touch HD, that is basically applying a layer of clear protective skin on my Touch HD, the problem is after skinning, I realized that my microphone is blocked somehow by the skin, making audio input very low, and the person I am talking to can't hear me well over a phone conversation.
I do not want to remove the skin, hence i am asking is there a way to increase the microphone input volume? Thanks.
Did you managed to get a response on this?
I did not skin my HD but quite a number of my friends are having difficulties to hear me... The volumn is too soft.
Can anyone help? Thank you very much in advance. Cheers...
I also had a problem with the microphone volume being too low.
I returned it to the store where I bought it for they to fix it.
When I got i back, they had put in a new mainboard and the problem was solved. So it was a hardware issue in my case.
Its about 2 weeks that i bought my Diamond 2 and during these days i really enjoyed it , but my only disapointment is the load speaker sound volume .The sound volume is too much low comparing to my elf for example ringtones , music and also movies. so is there any setting that i missed or its diamond 2 personality ? i already used diamond tweak to disable the 100db sound limit but nothing changed.is there any registry setting for diamond 2 to do that ?
please tell me any solution , thank you

sorry if this is already on forum..
so.. when i was recording in the club with n95, e71.. sound was ok.. but with HTC HD2, sound is terrible!!!!!
is there some tip? tweak to reduce microphone sensitivity, etc??
thank you very much.
bump pls....
thnx
Another bump from me for this
Older PPC devices used to have a Control Panel setting for microphone AGC or manual level settings but I can't find anything in the registry that looks likely.
I've tried using the HD2 to record video at both a rock concert (very loud) and a folk concert (not very loud!) and both had good video but highly distorted sound levels.
Apart from sticking some blutack over the microphone, are there any other suggestions?

Is there any solution to this, exept asking the dj to turn the music down?
I know that this thread is old, but... has anyone found any solution on this?
I was in a Guns'n'Roses European Tour last night in Barcelona, and today i've been watching the videos. All videos have the sound distorted and useless, i'm very dissapointed on it.
I know that Samsung Galaxy S has the same problem , but seems that audiobooster solves it

Is there any similar on the HD2?
not only nokia n95 but iphone users enjoy very good sound while recording
on our HTC HD2 it's seems like the mic gain to much volume and alot of bass enter the mic
which cause bad sound like the speaker going to ripoff from the device
any suggestion?
