Dudes,
I've just got NAND android on my HD2 (Rafdroid HD 4.0.2, Rafpigna kernel 1.9OC, best combo ever - check them out for great performance and excellent battery life) and love it so far. However, I've run into a problem trying to remap the hardware keys to what I want.
The default setup in Rafdroid is:
Code:
Send key: Phone app
Home key: Home
Windows key: Menu
Back key: Back
End call key: Power
I'd like to set it to:
Code:
Send key: Home
Home key: Menu
Windows key: Power
Back key: Back
End call key: Search
I tried doing this with a rooted app named ButtonRemapper. I don't know if anybody else has any experience with this app, but I was unable to remap the end call key at all and the keys that did successfully remap didn't work as planned. For instance, Windows key as the Power button gave my previously unaffected HD2 the dreaded 2second wake-up lag. This could only be reverted by wiping and reflashing the ROM, which I'd be keen to avoid.
Does anybody know a way of remapping the physical keys successfully without causing wake up lag? I've searched a few threads for it but can't find mention of that specifically.
Thanks,
zuka
Sorry to bump, does anybody know about changing hardware buttons?
Aaaaaaaanyone?
