Hi guys,
Do you have any recommended settings for the cache options to maximize performance?
Also, I disabled the conversation mode, and it only decoupled the SIM-stored SMS... The rest stayed in conversation mode. any ideas?

Hi,
I luv my legend, but I have some very strange bugs.
- SMS does not vibrate in vibration mode
- call waiting does not alert so I never hear in coming call when in a conversation
- problems with call notification, it does not ring sometimes, even when in normal ring mode
Any idea guys?

for sms, in settings keep vibrate checked, then install sound manager and control vibrate mode from there, it'll work again. From the app under vibrate settings you can then also create a shortcut to vibrate settings so you can directly access it without having to open the app
In vibration mode, when i recieve sms my Defy doesn't vibrate
i found Messaging App --> Menu Key --> Settings --> Vibrate (Under the Notification Settings) and checked it but it keeps unchecking by itself....
what should I do?
I'm using 24.02 ICS
If you wan't vibration with sms'es you must check it in the sms app itselve.
Go to the sms app where all the threats are, press menu > setting > notifications
Hi guys, I recently rooted my HTC Wildfire and flashed Cyanogenmod-7.1.0.1-buzz and everything went fine until my friend sent me a text and the phone didn't vibrate when I got a notification. The system vibrate is on and the "Vibrate when receiving a notification" box is check in both messaging and in Go SMS Pro.
Can anyone help? Anything will be much appreciated

thanks for all the help, I have fixed it by installing Sound manager and going menu > vibrate settings > and checking vibrate whenever possible under notifications
Hi there
I have this issue again where I don't receive notifications with Google Inbox app when I receive email.
I had this issue before on my s6 and it was related to power saving. There was a way to fix this and only for a specific app. But now I can't find it even did Google Search.
Also tried to look into it via S8 settings everywhere but can't find it and I don't want to shut off power savings mode.
Any idea how I can disable it just for specific apps?
you'll need to set Inbox to "Apps not optimized"
in battery usage (device maint. > battery > battery usage > 3 dots > optimized apps )
choose All apps then turn off toggle for Inbox.
I've been having this kind of problem with WhatsApp. I see the notification icon arrive but it doesn't really notify me with sound until after a couple of minutes.
Hopefully what @crayonyes wrote is what I needed. Thanks in advance!
Thanks. I did that. Unfortunately still doesn't work. I checked everything, all notifications & sync is on. I even put Inbox as high priority app. Still no notifications.
I've had so many problems with Google Inbox & notifications on my previous Galaxy and now again. Just really annoying it persists.
Not sure what to do now.

Try clearing data for Gmail. This has worked for a few people.
Not sure if I am the only one or if someone might have a suggestion. When I get a call and if I am not already logged into my phone I cannot find a way to answer it? Doesn't matter if it's a phone call or someone using the messenger video chat. There use to be a icon on the screen or something in the top drop-down menu... Now nothing. Phone vibrates and rings but I cannot answer. Any ideas?
Do you have any apps affecting the screen lock?
Just to check, have you turned off notifications on the lock screen in settings? That shouldn't matter but...
An old school thing I would check is if the phone app is listed as the default app for "phone" in settings -> apps & notifications -> advanced -> default apps
By any chance, are notifications for the phone app turned off?
Cleared cache for the app and if that doesn't work, for the device?
Fixed
Appears the clearing of cache did the trick. Thanks.
