Is there a way on the xperia to stop the phone blaring my notifications through the external speaker when I have headphones in, and route it through the headphones only?

When you have regular headphones plugged into the phone and someone calls you, you hear the ring through the headphones as well as out loud. Is there a way to set it so that in such a case, you only hear the ring through the headphones? That way people around you don't hear the ring.
And how is it with a bluetooth headset? I mean a headset like the Jabra BT3030 while listening to music. (See pic) Do people around you also hear the ring?
I don't remember this with any of the other Galaxy S phones.
When i plug in my headset, i still can hear the notifications through the main speaker. Does the fascinate have some sort of setting to disable this? I'm used to plugging in headsets to basically mute the phone. It's annoying when i'm listening to music and everyone can tell when i'm getting texted.
I have this nasty habbit of leaving my headphones on and lstening to music as i fall asleep. Problem is while i sleep they usually fall out and I miss my alarm.
Any way to get my alarm go off with the speaker even if the headphones are plugged in?
If you bought a separate speaker that connects to a standard HD2 phone earphone jack AND an earphone jack splitter AND you did'nt mind falling asleep to your music over earphones and over the speaker, you could do it!
Any way to make my phone RING out of the speaker when a call comes in, even if I have headphones in? It's very regular that I'll listen to music and take them out for a bit, and the ringing only plays through the headphones...
I sound notifications that come from the speaker when my headphones are connected. I'm with the I9505XXUAMDN release. My headset is plugged completely.
