how can i remove the sms delievery report on my x1i, please help
Either you can use the XperiaTweak:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=440035
or set the registry value SMSNoSentMsg to 1.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\SMSNoSentMsg
Go to Messaging - sms/mms - menu - tools - options - tap sms/mms account and there disable the request delivery notification thing

I've got an annoying problem that I can't seem to fix....there is no option in Notifications to change how sent sms notifications arrive - so it vibrates and chimes every time. I need to keep the notifications themselves on, just without the audible notification!
Also, there is an option to set this for MMS messages which seems odd...
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.
Dude- Im sure you have checked the settings in START>Settings>Sounds&Notifications right
Yeah. There is no option to change the notification for sms delivery reports though.
That's strange. it should be on the Notifications Tab in Sounds and Notifications. On the drop down list it should say "Messaging: New text message" you don't have that?
It's 'Messaging: New SMS Report' that I need and seems to be missing.
I have the same problem. I receive a LOT of SMS messages daily (100 and counting just today) and its horrible to get the same sound every 5 minutes!
I seem to have found the solution right here

Haven't installed it yet
Musicman - that settings is for incoming texts, on which you can set all the various options. 'Messaging: New text message'
Ubermark means that every time he sents a txt, you recieve a 'message sent' notification with sound.
What we are missing is a like for like setting for texts on 'Messaging: Sending MMS' - this would allow us to remove sound and/or notifications for text's sent.
Anyone any ideas?
Reg Edit to fix:
- HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox
- create a new key "Settings"
- create a new string value "SMSNoSentMsg" and set the value to 1
do a search fro schap's tools and you can disable it from there

Click to collapse
Its actually - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSNOSentMsg=DWORD:1
Obviously for Manila or TCH3DB2 users who installed TouchFlo on their X1's but still have the ugly wmobile sms pop up balloons on send & receive:
1. Go to Start/Setting/Sound and Notifications/Notifications
Select Event: Messaging new text message and the mms ones.
Uncheck Display Message on Screen
2. Use the ARM regeditor (google: regedit.Mrln_ARM) to change
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settin gs\
If “Settings” branch does not exist (it will on the X1), create a New Key with name as Settings. Then highlight Settings, and then create a new String Value key with value name as SMSNoSentMsg, with its value data as 1.
After soft resetting the WM device, the SMS Sent notification will be disabled. Alternatively, it’s also possible to tweak the registry settings for notification (including SMS sent) default behaviors to disable SMS Sent bubble. But you already did that in step 1.
Presto no more ugly sms balloons and slowdowns on sending sms. Identical as on my Touch HD.
Actually, to disable the delivery notification, you can also use Xperiatweak.
And you can go to messaging > menu > tools > options > SMS/MMS > uncheck Request delivery notifications. I THINK that works. But I always did it through xperiatweak first, so iono.
Hi there, Is there a way of enabling SMS's that are delivered but not to notify me. This way i can just go into a threaded SMS and check if the SMS has been successfully delivered but not counted as part of the overall txt messages received?
Ta
I'm guessing you want to activate the 'SMS sent' notification alert. which is not active by default on the blackstone.
Download and install HD Tweak and then enable tweak 2.1 'enable Sent Notification'.
that should work.
Quote from TFM:
To always receive a delivery notification, tap Menu > Tools > Options in the text message list, tap Text Messages, then select the Request delivery notifications check box.
There's no need for any 3rd party application, it's already there.
It works also for MMSs
Hi, have a question about sms delivery notifications with TF3D.
Although I have set the option to receive delivery notification through windows mobile messaging options, whenever I send an sms through the TF3D interface, I do not get a delivery notification unless I select this option every time through the message options in the menu under the TF3D Message interface.
Is there any way to have this set to always request delivery notification by default - maybe by system registry
Thanks for any help.
have you tried to enable delivery notifications via the Advanced Config app? (messaging -> sms delivery notification)
Hi guys!
I have MDA Vario II with DarkVisions 5 final rom, sim and cid unlocked.
My problem is that I can't get SMS Delivery Notification to work. Tried to google and went all through this forum, but no luck.
I have created HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings
Dword key name “SMSDeliveryNotify” and set the value to 0x000001
“SMSAvailable” and set the value to 0x000001
“DisableSMSDeliveryReceipt” and set the value to 0x000000
Further
I have created HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings
Dword key name “SMSNoSentMsg” and set the value to 0x000000
Also did MENU -> TOOLS -> OPTIONS -> select SMS/MMS -> request delivery notification
Soft reseted the device.
When I write new SMS I see checkbox checked and I send SMS. If phone is near PC speaker I can hear that SMS went. Also second phone to which SMS was sent was near the speakers and also heard when SMS came to it. After that I hear that MDA is receiving something (I suppose delivery report), but there is no notification whatsoever on it. It's just like it's filtered somehow.
Anyone has a clue what else I can do?
If you have a Advanced Config. Tool. You can go to the Messaging Tab, and enable it. If you dont have one, you can search it through the forum.
