Did the upgrade to WM6.1 from the official HTC file available for Middle East region. But now whenever I try to install the arabic applications from the CD (Stars Suite) that came with the Polaris, it gives me an error that "windows encountered a problem" and will not install. Otherwise the device seems faster (is it? not too sure)
Anyone has the similar issues or any ideas on hos this can be resolved.

I have the same problem with Mobidiv arabic, IGo 2006 doesnt start too,however the radio version is wonderful compared to my previous one

it's normal that you can't install arabic apps from CD because it's not compatible with WM 6.1.
try with the king file if it doesn't work try this arabizer

Thanx for the info. I did try with the file from "the King" but it gave me the same error. I tries the "arabizer" from the link you provided and it works, the arabic text is OK.

Help please
I tried installing the 6.1 available for middle east but it took one look at my sn and decided that it's not suitable for my HTC cruise Egypt does not allow GPS that's almost the big reason So Do you guys have a work around this that does not make me lose my Arabic support .. I was thinking maybe I can trick the site with a sn from the gulf area or something ???? Any ideas ?

I found a NOV20 MOBIDIV Build 415 that works with some 6.1 builds without any fixes or side effects. Just search for it =)

Hi, can you send me the TSD_MOBiDIV_416.cab file? I'm unable to download it because I'm accessing the Internet in the UAE, and Etisalat prevents me from using file hosting websites like rapidshare & zshare.
Also, has anyone heard anything about a possible release date for an "official" Arabic X1, with an arabic keyboard?

This time with FIRST NON Official TURKSIH HTC Touch Cruise with Manila.
I want to let you know that:
Flash this ROM at your own risk.
Never flash your device with SDHS card inserted.
I AM NOT RESPONSABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE !!!
The ROM is based on M-Amine 2.0 + other stuff from a Turkish Kaiser ROM. I hope I can help guys from Turkey with this ROM. Me can not TURKISH language, so every one can ask & write in English.
I would like to thank:
- udk, for his Polaris Kitchen v1.4 Multilang( without that this ROM should never come)
- M-Amine 2.0 for using his ROM.
- Kaiser_HTC_TUR_Turkcell_2.50.480.0 using Turkish support language. ( You have an option, if you not like the Turkish language so you can remove and uninstall it)
- Murrun, using your translated Manila to Trukish.

Bu rom sadece turkcell ile çalışıyor arkadaşlar. Avea hatla yükledim telefona ait menüler çalışmıyor. Yani boşuna yüklemeyin. Belki de sadece Turkcell in verdiği telefonlarda çalışıyordur.

turkish rom works only with turkcell sim card. telephone's own menus doesn't work with avea sim card. only pda menus can be used by this rom. I mean, this rom doesn't work with all gsm network and sim cards.

إذا كنت تريد اللغة العربية في ذلك الروم فلا يوجد فيها أي عربي. أنا أنصحك بأن تنزل روم الأخ محمد أمين ففيها كل شئ مع اللغة العربية و كذلك الروم محدث بأحدث البرامج الملحقة
That Rom you can find it here in the forum but if think that you can get arabic so do not waist your time. I advice you to download M.Amine´s Rom, it is better & including all new updates also with Arabic lang.

only radio update won't work, you gotta change the rom completely because turkcell rom also has radio but deactivated, maybe a .cab will fix it but there's a long way to figure it out

your best bet is to install new rom. and hardSPL of course. you wont regret.
otherwise yes cab's can fix it, but all you need is few clicks and registry edits, and you got your self radio app back.

Please use htcfm.exe, from extracting to hd2 debug tools, it's a simple fm test program but you can listen radio in turkey.
