I searched and didn't find anything...
Does anyone know, If I get my hands on a Blackstone (Touch HD) can it be activated on Verizon service?
No. Verizon is CDMA not GSM

Hello all,
I've been looking but haven't found the answer I'm hoping for
Out local teleco (MTS) is usually a couple of generations behind on hardware so the 6800 is not available here.
Bell Canada carries them as do, from what I can see, Sprint and Verizon...
My question if I was to acquire 1, is it possible to get it carrier unlocked so that I can get it connected to the MTS network...
Basically we need CDMA, 1xEVDO, wireless and a touch screen... if I cannot 'move' a 6800 to another carrier, is there one that anyone can suggest that meets these requirements?
thanks!
i dont think it needs to be "carrier unlocked" as it were, you just need a carrier that allows foriegn devices
hello, i am new to this forum.do not know whether there is already a thread running on this topis.has anybody been successful in unlocking the sprint version of HTC touch diamond?
There is no such thing as a locked CDMA phone. Any CDMA phone can be used on any CDMA carrier, as long as the carrier agrees to allow that phone on their network.
If you need to get a hold of the MSL/SPC code, google a program called GetSPC.
I saw an add where the Touch Pro 2 has a conference call app. Is that on the Imagio too?
Nevermind I found my answer.
And that answer was?
CDMA networks can only handle 3 people on a call. GSM can handle 8. The conference program is only on the GSM TP2. Even if you bake it into a CDMA rom. It won't work.
But say if you had a go card from at&t and an unlocked imagio, what say you now?
It's still a CDMA phone/rom so I'm guessing no. I wonder if you use both the CDMA and GSM radios can you talk and surf at the same time?
Well is there a program to conference between 3 people?
I currently live in Southern Ca. What can I do step by step to get my tilt 2 to work on the MetroPcs network? Is it even possible?
no you cant do it
so it is altogether impossible for anyone to do this correct?
Correct the Tilt 2 is a ATT branded HTC Touch Pro 2 or (Code name Rhodium) ATT and Tmobile Touch pro 2 are GSM netorks which work off of sim cards that you load into the phone with your accounts settings. Verizon, Sprint, Metro PCS, and some other US carriers use whats called CMDA. Which is basically a sim card thats hard wired into the phone on a chip. So the "ESN""/ Sim card is locked to that phone alone. So with a GSM phne like att or tmobile to change phones you just switch Sim Cards. For metro PCS , Sprint of CMDA phone you call in your ESN number to the carrier and activate it. So basically you have a GSM ATT Phone with a CMDA carrier. Your options are to switch to tmobile, ATT, or some other cheapo carriers, some use both cmda and gsm. If you want that phone your going to need to buy an Sprint Touch Pro 2 or a Verizon Touch pro 2 CMDA version. The Touch pro 2 and Tilt 2 are hte same phone just branded different names. I'm gonna pm you with more details.
there is a member that has a sprint TP2, and is trying to make it work on ATT
since she has the version of the TP2 that you seem to need, and you have the version she seems to need, you 2 should talk and maybe work out a trade...
