Hi Guys,
I was in the middle of flashing my OMNIA 7 then suddenly my computer shutdown due to a blackout at our home. Now my phone is stuck on the OMNIA 7 logo during boot and keep going that way.
I could still manage to go to download mode and reflash but when I try to flash it there is an error that would indicate "WRITE MIBIB FAILED!"
Is my phone bricked? I need your help.
By the way, if I get still manage to go to the DOWNLOAD MODE would that mean that my phone is not bricked?
Thanks!
Have you tryed formating before you try? Just use the other volym button.
Tryed yet?
Yeah I tried it, but still not working. . I still manage to get to "download mode" though.
As I have read through the different posts in the forum I see people experiencing the same problem such as the phone which keep on restarting and stuck on the "OMNIA 7" startup logo. . I tried the fixes that other's recommended but still doesn't work.
I tried taking the battery out for a day then putting it back in, the phone managed to boot up and I was actually able to use it but if I try to restart it again or sync it to the computer, It suddenly resets then goes on the boot loop once again. .
Well then I guess there is only one way. Return it to the store. :'(
to flash, ALWAYS restart your computer before and use a laptop with charged battery to avoid this problem.
For your problem you can tried to flash only bootloader part, radio part, or only PDA part for testing.
hay man
I had the same problem and here is the solution
follow the this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2530409/en-us
it works 100%
I hope it works with you as well
Nice one Abd654. Hope that helps you bor. GL
I have a problem getting in to "Connect to PC" I followed the instructions on holding the power and camera buttons, etc. but it won't go to "connect to pc" screen. . it's just keeps on flashing the "Samsung Omnia 7 logo" on the screen everytime I turn it on.
I tried doing hard reset but I cant because once the hard reset screen shows up, the phone just restarts again then the start up loop happens again. .
try this one this is from microsoft answer

Ok, so it is already 7/8 times in 2 months that I have to fully wipe my TF because it did not boot anymore and was stuck at ASUS logo screen.
Everytime I had to wipe it, reapply rooting and restore last backup (and I always loose something).
I am thinking that is a software problem: some applications create problem to filesystem or system files so that it will not boot anymore.
Is there some sort of safe mode while booting to identify what is stopping the boot process?
Or is there some way to investigate the problem after it happens?
Thank you
Chris
I loaded Yuki's ROM and updated to Mango via Zune. Had it running for about a week before I discovered that when I turn off the phone and then turn back on, it gets stuck at the point where it should be loading the home screen. I get the time at the top and that's it; the phone is completely unresponsive. The only fix I found was to do a hard reset and start over. I thought maybe an application caused this so after the reset, I turned off the phone before loading any other applications. It got stuck again at the same place. I suppose this could be linked to the sd card and I'll try a different one. Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this problem.
--Edit--
I've linked my issue to the sd unlock cab. As long as I don't install, mango restarts with no problems.
I've had this a few times.
Usually get the lockup at the SIM password screen.
Just reboot again and it will come back. Sometimes a couple of boots are needed.
I have a supported Sandisk card BTW.
Thanks. I've given it 2 tries before the reset but not more. I'll try to be more patient with it this time...or just avoid turning it off
I had the same problem as well, reflashed it with the same problem. after doing about 3 hard resets it finally worked.
I'm getting this continually, every time i reset i end up having to hard reset...
Hi all i am having a problem i was in AutoRec and i pressed reboot and when it rebooted it is now goes from the lg screen to security lock then shuts back off. I keep reading it is "soft bricked" .. Can i hard reset and fix it or will that hard brick it? Any help to get my phone back working will be very much appreciated! lesson learned on messing with things i shouldnt! :crying:
I have an LG G2 stuck in a bootloop. I've tried doing a factory reset but the process stops in the middle and the bootloop restarts. A few times I've been able to get the phone to work for a few seconds before it restarts itself into a bootloop. I've tried uninstalling apps, changing settings other users suggested for similar issues (such as the default keyboard), and disconnecting my google account (another suggested solution). I haven't been able to get my phone to go into download mode so I haven't tried any flashing approaches and don't think I'll be able to. Any suggestion on how to get the hard reset to work?
What did you do to the phone that caused this to happen?
If you never did anything nasty to it, then I guess it is a hardware defect. Maybe the cooling of the main chip doesn't work so it overheats.
