Usually it should be located under "program" but they put it under "start"
i must be blind when i start searching through all the system

nice to have a forum for gene....
i've have a dopod d600...i have a little problem with this one...i've been using this for 8-9 months...now there are multiple taps on the screen automatically...it goes on for about 9-10 times and stops on its own...it looks as if my dopod is possesed....ghost!!!!
i'm not a technical person...i'm a doctor...but i managed to do rom upgrade from 1.02 to 1.07wwe...
any help would be great....coZ when i'm in a call the call goes to hold mode automatically and even if i unhold it goes back to hold mode...about 7-8 times then becomes ok.....

Its not the software,its the actual buttons that keep getting 'locked up' in the same position(I used to get that with the action button) Try checking that.

the action button was indead the problem now i've fixed it and the phone works great.....about the 1.07 wwe version i got it from on of the forums here in xda-developers....go to search button on this website search "gene" watch the last colum for gene related topics....i used to get "invalid vendor error"...then i used FlashBootSplash also available on that forum page followed the instruction given in the read me file and lo behold i have 1.07 now..very happy....if there still is a problem i will upload once i get back (i'm going out of the country for 2 weeks)

Did you download the last version of these Roms??? Go to the Ratch's topic and download the last roms. If you have already did this, so ask your questions to Ratch, I think i'll be able to respond you.
hello i m from pakistan i have htc my touch 3g 32b from t-mobile i want to update it to andriod froyo 2.2. i tried alot . firstl i downloaded sappming .nbh type file and then flash useing the boot loader mode. then it loaded the stock andriod 1.6 rom then recently i downloaded ruu rom updater and update rom then the same andriod 1.6 is loaded with different style keyboard . my question is that i want to update it to andriod 2.2 froyo stock official original rom . not custom rom . so help me guys . i dont know much abt this phone . just tell me simple and working steps to do it . and provide me links to do it. and also tell me how to make this fone much faster than it is . sorry for my english . guys plz help me thank u GOD BLESS U ALL

I know my question a bit strange...IS MY PHONE A TRASH!?!?!
I am not kidding list of WHAT IT DOESN'T WORK:
1.TWRP 3.0.0, I know u will tell download the one from aapav..but I did..I know you will say try .tar one...OF COURSE I did...I know you will say flash your stock...BUT I DID!!!WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!!STILL DOESN'T WORK!!
2. A long list of ROMS, okay u will say the ROM ..NO its not!!it worked for all!!then u will say your recovery is bugged.. I will say maybe BUT why other ROMS WORK!!if u say okay but MAYBE bugged...I will say this will return me to 1.
3.I always have bugs others don't have
OKAY,I think this is great to tell:"this guy is a noob don't follow instruction" then I will say I am not a noob because I know theming and learning about modding
