I did not post this on the Manila thread because, all htc phone users post there, so I could not find one relating to the elfin/elf or to M2D. I did find something for the 3D version but did not worked.
...really I searched the whole day... and searched yet again... but couldn't find anything significant.. no cab, not any fix... nor any registry hack...
I have turned the phone options and settings inside out and nothing... can someone tell me if it can be done add a bar after calendar that states the tasks/"to do" list???

I'm running a Manila 2D interface on my Trinity, and am having problems with the
Home Tab: I can't get the calendar to show at least one appointment.
I've been searching the forums for 2 days now, without success. I know that using a SPB shell that looks like Manila would solve my problem, but that's not what I want.
What's bugging me most is the fact that it used to work, but at some point in the past the calendar stopped showing my appointments.
Please, could someone give me a hint what I have to do, or what registry entry I have to tweak....?

problem, just similar questions that weren't answered.
I can't believe that so few people are only having a
problem with this short calendar style. I know that there
are apps like ThumbCal, but I need the calendar info on the
today screen.
I am totally willing to mess with the registry or the xml file,
but I need someone who points me in the right direction.

I've been searching through all the threads, and while there are questions relating to this, there appear to be no answers.
I'll appologise to admins and wizards in advance right now. Sorry if this has been covered somewhere, but I've been searching for a month now, and I've found nothing that works.
All I want to do is change the default apps for windows mobile. You can do it in Windows; why not WM? I've tried SPB Mobile shell, Gsmart (which I really like), and Manilla 2D. I can't change the default apps for Calendar, SMS, Clock, etc.
The ssmapa app won't work. Don't know why just gives an error when 'Init' is clicked. Can't find any info on that error, and I've tried all the other suggestions I've seen.
Haven't been able to find a pointer to anything in the Registry that would allow me to change the default app. I've edited the reg to stop tmail.exe being the default app, but I still get it popping up when I click the messages button.
Can anyone provide details on how to edit any of the shell apps, or the windows registry; which one I don't care. If I can find one that'll work, I'll use that app.
This is driving me a bit mad.
I thank the people who've written up how to's on the xml for spb, gsmart, manilla, and the like. They're useful for changing the look of the shell, but not the functionality. They are really great additions to the forum.

Sry if this has been discused before but i rly cant seem to find what im looking for. So basicaly im looking for a rom for my leo with 21891 or 21892 with the manilla 2012. I want to do all the graphic tweaks my self so i only need the performance/driver tweaks. I found one or two roms which were meeting my needs. BUT they had like "landscape support disabled in this rom". First i didnt find any way how to "enable it" again and second i wanted to make atlast a button which would put it manualy to landscape, i didnt manage... Can please point me the right direction. Thnx very much, sry if i did overlook it somewhere in the search.

Im rather new here.
I did search about 50435940 times before making this post but I didn't find what I was looking for. I have the tmo stock 6.5 rom with I think manila 2.1, anyway I am looking for the background to be transparent behind the search bar on the internet tab.
Like whats on this thread /showthread.php?t=630402 (still not allowed to post links I guess ... ) only for tf3d 2.1. I looked through a little bit of code on the device as well, and I looked through that cab file in hopes of finding something similar to tweak, but I remain puzzled at how to do this... or where to find the correct file to get started. There seems to be ALOT of manila files.

I have searched this entire site for a couple of days now and have yet to find what I'm looking for so I appologize if there is another thread out there like this one. I'd like to thank you guys first of all for all of the tweaks and hacks. I have had my hd2 for just over two weeks now and I was about to give it back but after I added all these hacks and tweaks and saw just what this phone was capable of, I'm definitely gonna hold onto it a while. During all of my searching I've learned a bit more about hacking the registry.The hd2 comes with a certain number of icons in the bottom curtain that slide back and forth. Well I don't use twitter, but love facebook. I have been trying to get facebook in the options to add it to the slider menu in the bottom curtain. Some of the registry files are located in hklm\software\htc\manila. I would appreciate any advice on how to edit the registry to achieve this. thanks in advance.
