HTC Home plugin for HTC Touch Dual (Touch Plus / Nike200)
The Touch Dual already contains the necessary files in the windows folder and I didn't see the point in installing 193 duplicate files to my device.
This modified cab contains 1 file and installs "HTCHomeSettings.dll" to the windows directory to enable the HTC Home tab plug-in with 6 tabs and adds a few registry entries to enable the HTC Home tab on the today settings screen.
Tested and working on my device.

Yes, with a registry editor you can manipulate the HTC Home plugin. Check this topic (and use search next time):

Found a solution.
you can disable the cube through the registry.
I installed Home Customizer and got the favorites tab back. But... the profile tab does not show the correct icons. It shows a folder icon.
By changing the icons in the home customizer i cannot repair this. Anybody a solution?

I'm currently trying to find a htc home 2.1 plugin that works properly with my Dual. I've tried two different home 2.1 plugins, but both of them make all the icons (HTC album, screen rotator, lock, program folder, etc.) appear as folder icons.
Can somebody recommend a HTC home 2.1 plugin cab that works or a solution to this particular problem?

Anyone know how you do the following (links to cabs) for the quick launch and battery replacement (see below screen shots) for the Touch HD UI? Also, does anyone have a version of the Com Manager replacement which does work or a fix for it?

I suggest looking in the Diamond forums. It's a hell of a job but just scan through the [SKIN] topics.
And forget about CABS, your choice will be much larger if you stick to manilla files and it's not that hard to install them. Just copy the files to windows folder with Total Commander or Resco Explorer.
If yo enable 'view hidden files and system files' or some setting like that in TC or RE, you can first make backups of your original files.
The result is much more control over what you install.

i use a wm6.5 touch pro2 without manila and active windows default in today settings, i think it's such a cool theme, but there isn't a link about windows default tasks, which i can use it without "windows default"(maybe it's called chome?). is there any way to add it? i use cht editor, i know i can add a button to windows task, but there isn't any information can be displayed.

Look for CHome Editor, it has many functions, and the author made a weather plugin too
