Delay of phone ring when setting with vibration - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 ROM Development

Is the delay of phone ring for incoming call when setting to "vibrate and/then ring" (sometimes for 8-10 seconds compared to setting to "ring" only) a known bug for this ROM? Is there any fix for this. Thanks.

this problem was also on the prev. roms.
when i am talking and receiving a messege notification the tone plays 3 time.
it is kinda anoying.
is it posible to delay the notification sound til after the call is ended?

is it only me that have this problem?
I think you can set it up to only sound off once in Sound Settings.
No sure how to disable only when in call.

Vibrate Alert On Calls

Hi, does anyone know how to disable the vibrate alert in the DHD when a call connection is established?
Go to Menu > Settings > Sound > Vibrate you can turn it on or off.
It also affects vibrations when Notifications come up.

Actually i did it, but it doesn't effect vibrate on calls
I actually have this problem too...if someone can give a solution to it...it would be awesome.
Just checking, you do mean the small vibration when you make a call and the other person answers?
Just tried it on mine and that option definitely controls the call connection vibration. Untick and the vibrate stops when the number answers.
Sorry if yours is different somehow.

Ya... I am referring to the small vibration delivered whenever a carrier notification is delivered. Call connect in particular.....

Vibrate during calls Miui

I might be just a moron but I can't find the part where to disable the vibrate during calls option in Miui. I would think that have that option. Everything else about the rom though is great!. I'm using the [ROM]::OFFICIAL MIUI.us 1.9.9:: ||demonspeed_MOD 1.9.9.1 INSIDE|| [UPDATED! 9.11.11].
So if anybody could point me to the right place that would be great. I did see where to disable the vibrate options and all but didn't want to completely disable, just only during calls so I'm not getting my ear tickled.
Go into the setting to sound and vibration then go to vibration settings and turn off call vibration

Wouldn't that just turn off vibration when you receive a call? The OP is looking for a way to suppress vibration from notifications/messages when you're in the middle of a call.

Yes, that is indeed what that does. I would also like to find a solution to prevent vibration during calls. I know CM7 has an option for this.

Phone ring tone is intermittent on incoming calls?

Just got a factory replacement g2 and my ringer is acting really funny... Rings some of the time and even then, will only ring once before it quits ringing (even tho it still is showing that I can answer on my screen). Sometimes it doesn't ring at all. And no, I don't have silent or vibrate mode enabled lol. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
Found it... It was an experimental setting in my "Call Control" app that would "remove partial ring". Just fyi j case anyone else runs into this

Vibrate/Silent issues with 3rd party VOIP dialer (Fongo)

In my Android Sounds & Vibration Settings I have "Vibrate when ringing" set on, and a default ringtone. I'm using a Canadian VOIP dialer called Fongo.
With my Axon in Vibrate mode, when I call my Fongo number the Axon will only vibrate once, like a message notification. The call will continue to ring but the Axon is silent/motionless.
In the Fongo app Settings, I can turn on a separate "Vibrate When Ringing" toggle. This fixes the ringing issue, and will continuously vibrate when a call is ringing. However this breaks Silent mode function, so if the Axon is in Silent mode, it will actually vibrate rather than be silent.
Anyone know how I could fix this issue? At work I need it to be 100% silent in Silent mode, and need it to vibrate continuously when receiving a call in Vibrate mode. The vibrate setting is audiably loud in my quiet workplace (film set) so you can understand how this is an issue.
