I'm not sure. But why don't you give a try? Download the ROM, start flash after ActiveSync. If it goes further then you're lucky. Else it says incompatible device and thats it. No harm.. Just try..
I am doing it for first time. So I would like to know wherther it will brick my device if it is not compatible and also I would like to know it Artemis Vanilla 4.02 is a good ROM or not

This is one of the best rom I have used at my P3350! But remember to use USPL before flashing your device.

Here is USPL: Artemis Update SPL (USPL) v.01, you can use that or, if you download meschle rom, use Step 1, then Step 2

Though I'm a newbee to the WM thing, managed to install Artemis Touch 4.02 WM6.1 WWE ROM, 5.2.19199 (Build 19199.1.0.0) (Full, Lite and Vanilla) to my HTC P3350 perfetly, the thing works perfectly, The contact list looks really cool really don't know how to thank u guys at xda dev, a big thanx goes out to all the moderators, specially "meschle" and "pof" for their excellent roms, progs and the Tutorials.... keep up the nice work guys...... Thanx once again.......
Artemis 4.02 Touch Lite with cube

You have not mentioned which HTC model. It works only on HTC 3300 Artemis & HTC 3350(Love)

You have to first unlock your cid. This can be done by clicking start uspl in the folder
did you click on start uspl to start the process
Artemis 4.02 lite with 4side cube
hey this is best rom for HTC love. This is my 3rd day after installing it and it is extremely stable, less battery hungry and reasonable fast.

I had done clik to uspl but the process is stoping there and is telling wrong connection.Then if i run the ROMupdate.exe is stoped at 3%.Thank a lot for help.

this is just a test... I do not have a Polaris so I can not test the rom myself.
I'm going to release a rom for Prophet and Kaiser that are in 9 differant languages. ENG, DAN, ITA, FRA, ESN, NLD, GER, NOR and PTG
but I will release them for Polaris too if this one is working.
so if you don't know how to flash back to a working rom it this one is not working please do not flash this one ...and I take no responsabil for damage it might do to you device
If anyone has a Polaris that they wan't to sell verry cheep... for me to use for cook purpose only ...it not have to be fully working I'd be glad to buy it

the WWE (=WorldWideEnglish) Rom is nothing special. Its 3.13.405.0 so I think the difference to the german Rom is not that big.
I didn't fully try it but it definitely doesn't need HardSPL!
No bugs for me so far:
all hardware buttons working
sliding in camera album working
FM radio not as loud as 6.0 (good for me because it was too loud with lowest OS settings and 10% radio sound )
contacts, calendar, opera, .netcf 3.5, advanced config and wifi working
not really faster than 6.0 (original)

HARD spl ...
I had my TOuch cruise (german) reflashed with RUssian official ROM ... I am having some problems with hardware and planning to get it to Official Repair Center in London... If i flash it with this ROM do i need it to do anything with SPL not to lose warranty or i shoild flash it with initial original ROM (which i dont know where to find) ... Please help

Simple answer... NO
You would need to cook your own rom and use drivers from the original p3300. You would probably get a newer 6.1 but drivers and other stuff might not be more newer. Good luck

First of all,
if you want to flash another rom, you need to hard-spl or uspl your device.
but besides that, you also need a german backup-rom for waranty purposes. this can only be done, if someone is willing to do a romdump on his MDA basic.
