Hi folks. I need help! No matter what clock .cab I install, I can't get that ugly black HTC rectangle to go away. The new digits show but I can't get a glass background. What am I doing wrong? Does something else need to be installed first? I am using the Sprint stock ROM.

Thanks!
But do I install sprint2flip and then install other clocks immediately after that? Or should I uninstall sprint2flip first?

Hello folks,
another happy camper with Rhodium here!
Just wished to use same background for all tabs and am aware that there are lots of versions of Manilla and of the background4all floating around here.
Anybody has tried one with success?

I tried the High Def Wallpaper creator from the Blackstone forum which works brilliantly, but doesn't change the home wallpaper for some reason, something I'm looking into.

Really? Even for the home page? I only tried mine the other day, have to download the latest version, think this one has just been released so it might have an update in it.
For the home page I simply use this as a workaround: just change in settings-background the image to the one you used for portrait, and voilĂ ... It just won't dimensionally fit only for landscape, but I feel satisfied enough with this solution.

But it has the same problem where Manila makes the image slightly blury, as it does if you choose a normal home wallpaper.
Its not something which is that noticable, but when you have seen the difference between them, you can tell the image isn't as sharp

work fine with a litle glitch.
when on landscape mode , open a sms from manila and you get a litle graphic glitch while the sms gets loaded on top. Same happens on manila contacts. If it gets fixed it would be cool

Works pretty well, only a couple of small issues...
1. Background doesn't work for the tab icons and little bit of space below them on any tab expect home.
2. When changing tab it goes bright pink!
I have used HDwall 0.28d to generate a full screen wallpaper for all tabs in my HD2, and it worked OK, but it as a strange effect. When I get the weather animation running, the screen turns black with the animation running good, and only returns to my wallpaper after the animation as ended.
Anyone know why or as any fix for this?
Thanks.

That's apparently meant to signify a dirty screen being cleaned by the wipers. It just looks crap, if you ask me.

For any kind of help, it might be wise to include Phone model and ROM.... and a reason for needing to do it, perhaps.
i'd also like either to remove it or scale it down because it's way too big... (kk stock d802, twrp)

yes, i knew that, and what about resizing? it scales up even the timely custom widget
You could make a blank transparent widget with zooper. Or edit LGKeyguard.apk
Try using zooper widget to create a new blank widget
Add it to a new screen
Replace the clock using the new widget thats what i did
Hope i helped

why does it have to be zooper widget?
i know it's a great widget app, i've used it on Optimus2x - but i don't see what's the difference if i put any clock widget there (i currently use timely on my homescreen)

Could you do screenshots to check this out? I will be very grateful to you :fingers-crossed:

The correct path is /system/emui/lite/prop/local.prop and you have to set ro.build.hw_emui_lite.enable to false

It would be much better if the black background can be removed as below the notification shortcuts.

I really didn't understand that stupid policies by Huawei, because they remove a feature that was already unable on the old EMUI4.1, also on the lite series. Anyway thanks for your answer!
Guys, are you looking for something like this?
Would there be any interest in an app that could modify the colour and opacity of the quick settings panel? And possibly of the notifications panels?
I don't know if you're aware that there is a theme editor in the Playstore. I'm not sure what it does because I can't get it to work on my phone, but if it doesn't do that, I'm happy to make an app for modding these things.
Let me know!

It'll take me a while so in the meantime I can do it for you. Just tell me what theme you use and what hex you want for your quick settings background (+ opacity) and for the quick settings icons if you want to change their color.
This is mine at the moment:
Please don't PM me. We can do it in this thread.
