I tried to look it up in the spec, but coudn't find it, or i was searching the wrong name.
But does the Xperia X1 have a G-Sensor (or whatever it's called)???
In Diamond and Touch Pro, you have the G-Sensor app in settings, mayb the same app is in the Xperia....
No G-Sensor in the Xperia sorry.
No G-sensor or accelerometer in the Xperia X1, but you can assign one of the soft buttons to switch between portrait and landscape for the screen.

Why?
Touch Pro's screen is nothing compared to Xperia's and Touch HD doesnt have a keyboard

Yes, if G-Sensor is mandatory for you, forget about the Xperia and get some other device.
I'm also very consequent on things I really need though my priorities are a little bit shifted.
Was just kiddin, still getting the deviece.
The deviece looks so sexy. It has class like drinving a lambo.
You know what i mean?
What the hell do you mean with the screen? And yeah, the HD doesn´t have a keyboard, but that´s almost better than a ****ty one.

Why would it be slow though? Doesnt the xperia have the same hardware as the Diamond?
Maybe the graphics drivers arent fully utilized!!
Can anyone try using the drivers from the Diamond in the Xperia? .. maybe the performance will increase.
Maybe it would even make the panels react faster!
thats weird since the hardware in the xperia is better then both the raphael and diamond. So the xperia should run touchflo 3d with ease.
do you mean that xperia doesn't have at all 3d drivers like touch dual?!?!
I hope that drivers could be ported from touchHD...
if that were true how would the x1 be able to even run the panels. sorry if i offend anybody but cut out the crap talk x1 can handle the touchflo 3d with ease if ported right.
the original poster was asking about throttle launcher not tf3d.
tl runs fine in realvga on my athena, so the hardware of the xperia should cope easily, but theres no settings for wvga as of yet, the author has promised a wqvga version soon which will scale up, but you can also do the xml yourself
thanks for the answer but maybe its better to wait for the touch hd and rip that touchflo since its the same size?

They should work fine, but you might see some funky things due to the difference in screen dimensions. Since the Diamond is 480x640 and the HD is 480x800, some apps might look stretched out, and some might not fill the screen. But WinMo is WinMo no matter what device it's on, so they will function the same.

In theory.
Most wallpapers won't be the right size. I don't know if the HD will stretch them, or leave your screen with empty space.
Let us know how it goes once you have it!
Hello,
My question is... can anyone port the camera from the Touch Pro 2 or Diamond 2, cause I saw in a video it his a nicer layout, and a on-screen button to take a picture... Looks better than the regular Fuze/Touch Pro camera on-screen buttons.
Easier said than done I'm afraid. They're utilizing the extra 160 pixels for that "Capture" button and the Rhodium also does not have a flash. This will be especially problematic for Touch Pro owners.
So it'll never happen?

I don't mean it will never happen, just more difficult. I'd personally love to see this ported to work on the Raphael/Diamond.

i'm pretty sure this is gonna be implemented in the software upgrade for the X10.
fairly nice way to get around pinch to zoom i think
wont be missing pinch to zoom methinks
nice. i honestly couldn't give a ****e if multi was on x10 or not. If it did, that'd be great, but if not, meh. Don't understand the people that would pass on this phone just because it doesn't have multitouch.
yea me too, but zooming on the browser and google maps was getting a bit irritating for me. although downloading opera solves this issue with the "double tap" feature.
i just thought i should post this so those who lack of multi touch IS an issue might reconsider.
Oooh. That looks great! Hopefully that gallery will find it's way in to the standard X10 when 2.1 goes live!
Zooming is not a problem but multitouch will be required by games most likely.
This will affect gamers but for somebody else the missing MT it shouldn't be a problem.
Having gestures all over the phone will help a lot.
The only place that multitouch is really useful is the onscreen keyboard (especially for those who type fast, there'll be lest missed inputs)

its never been a problem for me even on a single touch resistive screen. also- i hate full qwerty keyboards on phones. they're too cramped and u need 2 hands most of the time. i use T9 pad (i downloaded the HTC_IME)
I use the HTC_IME as well and I have 0 missed keys Typed a long post earlier today.

Not a problem for me either. And I used Fingerkeyboard on my X1 before I got my X10.
Any confirmation that this is coming to the X10? The video shows the X10 Mini.
Hi. Is there any way to get the default Sense keyboard in 2.2 Desire (I'm not talking about any other 3rd party software) to use multitouch? I've seen that thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=742477
If it works on EVO 4G, why doesn't it work on Desires? Any idea? Are there any ways to get it to work? (Like those registry hacks back in WinMo 6.5 days )
i would like to know more about that, too

It can register more than one touch input (aka finger) at a time and therefore HAS multitouch.
How accurately it can achieve this is another discussion.
