Annoying notification bug? - Mogul, XV6800 General

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has a fix for something I find quite annoying.
If someone sends me multiple text messages, the ringer I have will play simultaneously(ring1 still plays as ring2 starts, etc.).
Is there a way to have the unit stop the ringer if already activated, and start from the beginning if another txt comes in?

SMS ringer lasts forever

Does anyone know how to stop the ringer for my text messages to stop ringing so long? I cut it like a regular ringtone, so its like 20-30 seconds and I can open the message, slide up the screen and send a reply and it will still be going. The only way to stop it is to lower the volume while its ringing and turn it back up after its done. Is there a trick in the settings or a way in the registry??
Also, on my A630 I was surprised when I first found out that, for instance the ringer that goes off for my girlfriend when she called would also go off when she sent a text message...on this phone, which is far superior, only the default text message ringtone plays no matter who it is, is there a way to change that??
It will play the entire SMS wav file. no way of stopping. So, put a short one there.
No, as far as I know of customizing SMS alert tone to contacts.

No sound when Receiving Messages

Hello,
My wizard no longer rings when i receive a message. Rings just fine when i receive a phone call, but just displays the notification when receiving a message.
I've checked the sound options and it is set to the default Notify sound, that plays if i press the test button.
What is going on? How can i fix this?
Thanks in advance
any software you used to play sounds files? there reported cases where there are some confusion on the program to use to play files. Just to be sure, why using the same file (the notify default sound) as your ring tone, and see if it works. Also try with the same found file with Reminders.

SMS Audio Notifications

Does anybody know how to turn off the annoying SMS sent audio notification?. Even with the phone set to silent or sound off setting it still generates a jingle when sending SMS messages.
Have trawled the web for a solutin to this problem and had a look through the registry but to no avail.
Kinda makes it impossible to answer text messages when in meetings or when trying to be discrete.
Well, there is a registry tweak to turn off notifications altogether. If you want the visual notification alone, this would not help.
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Inbox/Settings/SMSNoSentMsg to 1

[Q] Text messaging notification volume problem

The problem I'm having is when ever I set a default notification tone it plays good and loud when I test it but when I actually get a text the volume drops below half making it very hard to hear the phone when ever I get a text. Is there a reason its doing this? I have the notification all the way up and it still drops when I get a text. At first I thought it was a issuse with handcent sms but its doing it with the default messaging app as well. Is anyone else having this problem?

After update can't figure out how to turn off sound notifications

So after the latest update I now get audible notifications for everything... emails, text messages, facebook updates, you name it. Driving me mad! I just want text messages to have an audible alert. I looked under the settings for each account and under the audio piece and I can't figure how to change it. Someone please point me in the right direction
Go into the each of the apps that have notifications and change the ringtone for it to silent. Such as gmail or email or whatever Silent should be the second ringtone in the list after Default Ringtone.
What about the Low Battery warning ? How do I turn that off ?
I get my phone ringtone and it is a pain in the a*se. I was even on a call and all of a sudden I am listening to my phone ringtone going off at the same time.
It seems that this phone or motoblow is missing the defaut notification of "silent" anyone know how to enable this? It is a pia going into every app, to set it to silent. Thanks -Mike
