use normal gps.turn off A-GPS? - XPERIA X1 General

can anyone confirm if i can use the xperia as a normal GPS.
i need to turn off the AGPS and use the normal GPS without connections to the network.
i appreciate your response on this as i heard numerous rumors that xperia only uses agps.

(aware that I've only posted twice here so it looks like n00b on n00b, but been using other forums since, well the internet began)
There is no need to post the same question TWICE, and a quick search would have found the answer to your question.

what is the answer then?

HTC Ozone and ClearType

Does the Ozone (Maple/Willow) utilize ClearType?
And does anyone know how to tweak the settings? I cannot find a place to do it in the settings folder.

Thanks Pri (my personal search assistant),
I found that and the control panel addon. What I'm wondering is it used as default in the Maple/Willow?
Specifically I wonder because I've noticed the rendered type in some programs (Skyfire, IE, etc) is not as clear as others. I'm curious - if ClearType is on, would this be an issue with the various apps or if it's not active, would it be an issue that ClearType could resolve.

**solved.,mac user can use "tweak2k2.net" as a built-in tweaker for Win-Mo smartphone (installed from tweak2k2.net.cab)
Hey guys,
When I try to add the ClearType key, I get a "Access Is Denied" prompt. Is there anyway around this? I'm using the Snap unlocked international version btw...
Thanks.

Display multiple time on the main screen

Hello guys,
Is there a possibility to view in the main screen 2 individual time settings? I travel a lot and this can help me see just by touching the mobile what is the time at home compared to the location one.
By opening some application it is just inpractical so is there some way to just add a small time next to the big one?
Thanks in advance.
spb mobile shell will solve your problem.

I ''dare'' to quote YOU(R HIGHNESS), because I respect your opinion, but it seems impossible to you even to consider another opinion...
In other words, thank you very much for your clever(&very usefull in your opinion**) post, but one question still remains:
are you a kind of referree/judge/guardian, always watching for someone's badinyourmind/differentthanyours opinion?
**spb ms is a very usefull app(no doubt about), but high (enough) resources consumer for such a simple purpose: a multiple time displaying app on today's screen...

For this you can use old version (2.0) or something of SPB Time. Earlier version used to come with today Plugin which can be used for multiple location times. However it'll be helpful only if you are not using TouchFlo as your today application.

Samsung calendar tone

Today I realized that the calendar tone in my Galaxy S was way too short and that it only played once. After looking through all the menus I had to ask my friend Google and I was chocked to find out that it's not possible to change the tone in Galaxy S.
Is this really true? And what's worse is that the function is available in vanilla Android. How can they remove something useful and dont replace it with something better, or at least ANYTHING?
I tried Calendar Snooze but it wasnt that good. All I want is to be able to change tone and also so it will keep playing until I do something.
if you use the forum search button you will find that it has been discussed and solved already. it should be in this forum or the vibrant forum

Same problem here, it seems wp7 doesnt allow you to reply USSD commands. There is a work around though, for example say you need to dial *100# then choose Option 2, then Suboption 4, you do the following: *100*2*4#
This is how I activate some subscriptions in here.
I hope it helps
yeap, thx! i know this... but sometimes, if there is operation with the answers, like
"this operation cost: __$"
and you need to give an answer "1. Yes, 2. Now"
impossible to input such as "*100*1*3*4*4*2*3*4#"
just error will appears
so, this is a very big problem. It's crazy. So simple, must have function...
just facepalm to microsoft.

i have raised this issue in Microsoft support forum since Omnia 7 was first launched and they are yet to come back with definite answer on whether they are working on it. Therefore there is still no answer from Microsoft regarding this issue. Perhaps somebody may need to go through the official channel (Carriers) to raise this issue to Microsoft

CM7 is compatible with Wimax and has been for quite some time.
Although I'm not in a 4g area I have been and it works just fine.
