POCKET facelift any other programs like this?

Hello all...
I used POCKET facelift 1.7 on my XDA 1, loved it etc.. but now with my XDA 2 it has loads of bugs etc and it seems they are not planning to get it fixed for 2003 that quick either..
Are there simliar programs which work fine with the XDA 2 ?
I prefer to have full screen themes
Ok thanxs already!!
Greetzz
DvL
yes! Dashboard, very fast with no bugs I use it with Dashmobile skin from wincustomize.com
true
dashboard is ok.. but you need to install wisbar also to get a fullscreen feeling..
pocketfacelift is a program that does both..
i am looking for somthing similar to that.. no use to have 2 apps if you only need 1
Well since PocketBlinds and Wisbar advance does not display the notifications I prefer to use Omega One Battery Pack which includes a very nifty close (and minimize) button, however it does not skin the taskbar, which again I think is good...

Rayan
i prefer dashboard (beta 2045 for wm2003) as wisbar doesn't suport phone features, and pocketblinds doesn't support wm2003 yet. Seems to work really well and is easy to customize with skins and shortcuts
...Now I'm trying SBP's Pocket Plus, since I noticed that my Caller ID Monitor was not functioning and I found that Omega One's Battery Pack Close Button did not liked it... Also SBP's much quicker and responsive.
So far I think SBP Pocket Plus is a much better closer app.
We'll see...

Handheld PC Programs working fine in WM5 :) in VGA

Just installed Planmaker and Textmaker from Softmaker and they are running Very very nice just like a windows program
Try it with real VGA, you will be amazed...
Beautiful!
I really like textmaker, although I've barely had need to use it, but it looks great. Is this the same version as the old WM2003 one, but just running on WM5? Universal must be the best way to use this kind of pro software!
Heh, for the full experience, try my VJFullscreenTSC:
V
Yes they are the old versions but they are for Handheld PCs
The PPC version looks like this screenshot
@Shaytaan:
I installed the handheld version of planmaker on my Jasjar but I cannot see the menus, etc. I believe the problem is that I did not run the program in real vga mode as your recommend.
I know it might sound silly but can you please guide me how to turn on the VGA mode on my Jasjar.
Thanks for the wonderful information and kind regards

Can i use this theme?

Hello,
I am really not sure what themes i can use on my brand new exec, can i use this? http://www.sbsh.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=5537
If not, what can i use? which looks good
Thanks
You can, but you need to install WAD (Wisbar Advance Desktop) to be able to run it.
It's a skinning program that works with Wisbar Advance to create a skinnable Today screen, far different to the standard Today from MS. There is, however, a downside in that it's quite resource hungry and the betas I tried on my XDA2i resulted in slower performance.
Now that I'm on the Exec, I'm happy with the 2005 appearence and though it would be lovely to have such fantastic looking graphics on the VGA screen, I can't say I've found myself wanting such programs running on mine.
Do a google search for "Wisbar Advance Desktop" and give it a try...however if you were asking the question initially, then I'm not sure if it will be worth the hassle - it's often quite fiddly.
Cheers
Ant

hi i found this software Shutdown (Windows XP Style)
Shutdown (Windows XP Style) enhances your PocketPC with an XP-style shutdown screen. It includes a shortcut in the start menu and can be used to perform a soft-reset without having to use the reset button.

PocketWin is a new kind of Pocket PC launcher that is intended to completely replace your Today screen. It features a sleek design and a Windows-like interface. PocketWin is made with Macromedia Flash and requires Flash Player 6 for Pocket PC installed. What makes PocketWin different from other program launchers is it's extreme flexibility. You might compare PocketWin to a set of Lego pieces that you yourself can add up to build that very thing you've always dreamed of. With it's extended plugin capability there are virtually no limits to what can be accomplished with PocketWin. The new update provides a number of new features and interface improvements that will put all other launchers to shame!

The latest update has the following set of new features:

Create your own skins with our SDK (Skin Developer Kit) *soon to be released

I think what you have is the iSpin Launcher which is a Palm OS program, not for Pocket PC. That's as far as I can read, I can't read Thai, sorry.

SPB Mobile Shell 3 and WisBar Advance Desktop 2

Ok I've been using Mobile Shell 3 since it came out and I love it. I've also been using WisBar Advance 3 for years and I love it too but I recently purchased WisBar Advanced Desktop 2 and was wondering if it will play nice with Mobile Shell or if it's gonna cause errors. If it is gonna cause errors, is there a way to tweak one or both of them so that I can switch between them (kinda like TF3D and MS3)?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP5twGfjOsA
me switching between multiple interfaces seemlessly
i have wisbar desktop on the list too, just not in video
