wifi problems - please repond- don't ignore - Shift General

Hi there
Well I completely not pleased with how my shift works over wifi. when I try to stream audio over wifi, i keep getting interrutions while listening to radio stations.
I never had this problem with my other laptops, is there a solution to be able to listen to streaming audio with getting the interruptions and pauses over wifi.
My router is a siemens and I have a fast internet connection ( 5mbp )

Did you check your CPU usage? Maybe the CPU is on its limit.
I use Winamp to stream radio over internet and I can use it 8 hours a day without any interruption on my shift.

Wifi+A2DP standard MS stack NO GO!

Using my bluetooth a2dp headphones with wifi streaming music[internet radio] is just impossible. The stream plays for the first 5 secs and then stops. Is there anyone who has got internet radio via wifi working with an a2dp headset please let me know.
Thanks
Hi
does it do the same when your not using the headset or is it doing then same when your using the normal internal speakers ?
Regards
I have never had any success with WiFi and a2dp on any pda I've ever owned.
I've used:
TCPMP
Mortplayer (GSPlayer)
Coreplayer
Resco Pocket Radio
and a few more
on:
iPAQ 1940 (Sandisk WiFi and also Socket WiFi SD cards)
iPAQ 2790
and HTC 8525 (TyTN)
It skips and drops and is just plain unusable. Works fine on any wired speakers/headset.
I suspect that there are two causes:
1) the WiFi and the Bluetooth share RF frequencies and are know not to play well together (its getting better, but its not perfect)
2) There isnt enough CPU and/or memory speed to do WiFi, MP3/AAC/etc. and Bluetooth all at once.
Non-a2dp bluetooth headset and WiFi skype also seems to have some issues on the iPAQ, but I havnt tried it on the 8525
I dont think its MS bluetooth Vs Widcomm because the iPAQ 2790 uses Widcomm and the 8525 uses MS (I think) and the both behave badly.
Disappoining but unsurprising
Do the math:
It's an OS running on a puny 400 mHz processor trying to simultaneously mediate and transmit two separate broadcasts on a device that is really just a souped up 1st/2nd generation device. More importantly these aren't open broadcasts, there's likely some form of encryption in one that's run by the OS unless your AP is open. All the while it's also performing the phone function (unless you have that turned off). Frankly, its a wonder I get 5 seconds of sound
I have gotten some decent results from streaming mp3 radio to my headphones via 3G connection- which isn't totally dependent on the OS, but not since I upgraded to WM5; I also get great absolutely fabulous reception on my headphones when playing from the SD card, almost 10 meters range when I'm at the health club. So you take the good with the bad.

Stutter Probs Streaming audio over network and playing over A2DP

First Post, Hi to all.
Hardware:
I have just purchased an SPV M3100 (HTC TyTn) and I think it's great I want to use it to play music from my MP3 collection which is shared over the LAN and output the music to my new bluetooth A2DP speakers (Accoustic Energy)
Software:
The PDA is running WM5. I have installed V-mobile Software Network Browser which adds a network folder to the system and allows me to map my Computers MP3 shared folder as a network drive on the phone (This works a treat).
I am using CorePlayer as my media player as this is the best one I've found, it plays all my music and also my divx/xvid movies.
Problem:
I can play music straight over the network using coreplayer fine from the phone (WIFI & BT both turned on), but when I connect the BT speakers I get stuttering. Occasionally it seems to work fine, but most of the time the music is really broken up.
I can play music straight off the phone and send to the BT speakers and it works great, but only if WIFI is turned off.
It seems that the phone is maybe struggling to run WIFI & A2DP simultaneously, which is a little bit annoying.
Plea For Help:
Is there ANYONE who has tried to do this on ANY PDA? If there is, was it successful or are you having similar stuttering probs?
PS. I have tried the A2DP bitpool reg hacks with no luck, and even tried the 802.11g wifi hack in case it was a wifi bandwidth problem.
If Anyone can offer any suggestions or advice I would be most greatful.
//not sure if I posted this in the correct thread, it might be better suited to accessories?

Bluetooth Streaming Audio from Pandora to Car skipping

unfortunately when i connect bluetooth to my car radio the music skips about every 15 sec. very annoying. Anyone else having the problem.
I have an iphone 3gs that doesnt skip and works great. I love the Evo but bugs are continually showing up.
Its your internet. Try updating your prl.
i did update the prl before i tried it.
still does it.
I have a bluetooth reciever for my AVR and I noticed some skipping as well. Not as frequent as you are saying but if I moved more than 10' away it would be rather bad. The Bluetooth range seems to be poor. In a car I can't imagine you having a problem. I have heard of some issues with factory bluetooth.
I had same problem till I decided to turn off my wifi.. and it started working fine.. it just doesn't have to do with Pandora, its will any Music that you stream over Bluetooth..
Just turn off your wifi and it will work fine.
Thanks
Or just place your phone somewhere else in your car. Bluetooth has very lousy range (isn't it like 10 feet in perfect conditions?), and as such moving it a foot or two somewhere else could make a world of difference.
Its definitely not the internet. I could be at home in wifi with phenominal internet it even laying it off of my SD card. If im in a vehicle or on a bus, its pretty solid and works really well. I walk out the bus and walk around either to m next bus or to work and it fails to play for more than 4 seconds without skipping. And its not like a short, nuisance of a skip. It often stays skipped for up to 3 seconds at a time. Completely unusable. Happens however i connect my phone to any a2dp device. Tried tweaking the /etc/Bluetooth/audio.conference file as suggested in a couple nexus one/s sites, but unfortunately seems to be specific to those phones. This is making me hate this phone. Every other phone I've had in the past two years does this just fine. Whyis it having such a hard time with such a simple task that others have done perfectly? Even other Roms work better but i like also better than sense anyday. Maybe its a kernel issue?. I really want this fixed. But it seems like no one is even trying to work towards a solution. Not on the surface anyway.
Did you try turning off your wifi and any other unneeded services? The only time I have had skipping over bluetooth is when I have my wifi on as well, other than that it streams smoothly through my car stero and computer over bluetooth.

This.
If that doesn't help, then if possible, you should use an aux in cable to prove it's only a bluetooth issue. If it still skips, I'd try a new rom and/or kernel. A2DP performance seems much improved in CM7 compared to Sense roms.. or at least it seems better to me.
I've had the same skipping problem with my bluetooth earphones and evo. The only slight solution that I've had was holding the phone in direct line of site with the bluetooth earphones. When I do that, it doesn't skip as much.
Streaming bluetooth audio to car stereo
Thanks Anku13, your fix works. Just installed a Clarion CZ501 bluetooth receiver in my car, experienced skipping audio every 15 - 30 seconds once my Leo connected/streaming. Killing WiFi was the trick. Love not having an AUX cable lying around in the cabin.

A2DP + streaming issues?

I just joined the 21st century and got a car with a BT enabled stereo. After nightmare connectivity issues I gave up for a while but I've started trying again. It SEEMS like, as long as I'm listening to music stored on the SD card, I'm fine. As soon as I start trying to stream from Spotify or something the BT connection drops frequently, and reestablishes itself sometimes. Anyone else had this problem?

Zenfone 5 conflitc between wifi x bluetooth

Hi ppl, i like so much to listen streaming audio and my zenfone 5 are with a issue, the problem is when i turn the bluetooth on and pair it with my car player for streaming audio, (spotify, soundcloud, youtube..) the wifi stops to receive the internet data properly, e.g: when it paired with the player via bluetooth i open youtube and the internet trasfer rate is about a 90-150kb/s max, but when i shutdown the bluetooth the trasfer speed is up to 15Mb/s the wifi bar strenght is awalys full, so it seems to be a conflict or interference between wifi and bluetooth in zenfone 5 idk exactly whats happening, now i using the RR rom 7.1.2 by tank but the original rom also presented the same problem, i tested another smarthphone of samsung and this problem not occurs, has anyone ever experienced this?
