Tap Tap Revenge for ppc? - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

any news of this did some looking around and couldn't find anything......

HAH!
I actually love playing this on my bro's iPhone. I doubt it though, since the iphone has multi-touch.

yea this game is fun..but guitar hero is basically the same minus the fact that on the iphone you can use your own songs
by the way its called tap tap revolution

no it's not it's called tap tap revenge

oh sorry i just googled it they changed the name

Tap tap revolution is for hacked iphones & ipod touches. You can use your own music on that version. Tap tap revenge is the "official" version you can get from the app store. You can't use your own music on this version. I have tap tap revolution for the ppc but you can't use it with your own music. It has its own music. Not as cool but its alright. Enjoy

tap tap revolution for ppc is not the same..... that is like ddr......
tap tap revenge is more like guitar hero and you can use your own songs

The last time I played Tap Tap Revenge you couldn't change your own songs?

Yea I have tap tap revenge on my ipod touch & you can't use your own music. I don't know which game your talking about. Tap tap revenge & tap tap revolution are the exact same game. The only difference is one is for hacked devices & the other is for the actual app store on itunes. The ppc version of tap tap revolution that I posted doesn't allow you to use your own music but it is the same game

For the ppc? I have tried it, I don't remember seeing a setting for it anywhere

So what is the final word?
Can anyone give the final word on this subject? Tap Tap revolution is an entirely different game than the one people have on their Iphone (Tap Tap Revenge). That being said, does anyone know if someone has created WM version of this game? If not, is anyone currently working on creating one? Thanks.

He doesn't mean that the "update now" control has anything to do with the functionality in question, he means the icon below it on the Manila menu bar.
But HTC confirmed this on their site a while ago, on the first page of the Touch HD so it's no mystery:
"The newly added Stock tab keeps you informed of the latest stock quotes, while the connected Home screen puts e-mail, messages and calendar only a finger-stroke away."

My bad. Yes, that does look like a stock info application.
They might as well just skip the subtleties and create a complete Blackberry Bold / IPhone hybrid They're not quite far away from such a blend with the Diamond

The HD blends a lot of Blackberry functionality (corporate capabilities) with multimedia appeal. I do hope that the HD will have better audio quality than the Diamond though, since I was not impressed by that.
The fact that it has a 3.5" socket would make it a good MP3 player if they upped the quality a bit.

Widnows Mobile Tooltip Replacement

Hello,
First of all, I hope am posting in the correct location. Anyways, in windows mobile, we receive different tooltips, ex: call summary report from the provider, credit report, and many others, the ones am talking about are the tooltips that appear on the top right corner of the screen.
These tooltips are so annoying since the buttons they carry are totally not finger friendly. After using "Yota Phone" on my HTC Touch Pro, i noticed that they mapped/changed the default tooltips with the title "PHONE" with their own nice finger friendly one.
Is there any program that does such a thing? searched a lot and couldn't find any. If nobody knows a program that does this, can someone tell me what are the commands/code of those functions/events? maybe i would do a small application for that one.
Thank you

Find me a cure, please doc?
This is an awesome idea!!! I too am suffering from sausage fingers syndrome
I'm not exactly sure how this could be done but I there is another application on XDA that changes the way our Context Menus look. He does is via dll injection and my guess is that that is how to do this also.
This would be awesome, I hate those little popups as well!!!! Maybe you could ask francarl (creator of FingerMenu), your idea sounds similar to what he did.

thank you m.schmidler. I was thinking about how to replace standard tooltip. It will be very useful if someone finds which is the Win32 API (if exists) that opens the tooltip!
I would totally use this! Anyone wanna pick this up?
Great to see you guys interested in this idea, but wish someone could actually implement it. If only creators of "Yota Phone" would reply. Since they successfully changed the "Phone" tooltip.
If only they share the knowledge. already posted a question regarding this matter on their thread, but no replies on that so far.
I will look into this as soon as I get some time. I'm working on wFacebook for now but as soon as I release a new version (hopefully by this weekend) i'll do some research and post my findings.
Add me to the list of the intrigued.
while you're at it, could you have a look at the default windows popups as well? you know, the ones with that incredibly tiny and impossible to hit ok thingy in the top right corner? even *with* a stylus it is annoyingly hard to press ok.
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/miscctrl/ToolTip_Class.aspx or http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsmobile/archive/2005/02/15/373120.aspx do there help any? I am not a programmer! so if they don't help at all!

Oh, yeah those too are so damn annoying!
If there are things that amaze me in pocket pc they are the following:
1. PPCs are more than 10 years old, and we still have THAT FEW RAM with SUCH SLOW PROCESSOR?
2. A message to Microsoft, WTF are you doing? We here at XDA can create a better OS with MUCH smarter tools and you as an enterprise suck that much in your own OS?
Hope we get a fix / program for the tooltip AND those middle confirmation messages, like the one that appears when you try to shut down the device. Buttons are non user friendly and still needs a stylus. Idiotic menus/tooltips.
Cheers

Open the Browser and type "about:debug". Click Go. (No page will load; that's normal.)
Open Settings, scroll down to UAString, and change it to Desktop.
Start playing your favorite video. Once the show starts, zoom in and press the full screen button.
Enjoy Hulu in full screen on your Android phone!
Nice! How do you guys come up with this stuff (figure these things out)?!?
Well yes, the guide works nicely (even though I knew it) but since Flash is simply beta, and isn't hardware accelerated - there really is no point in watching it currently.

Audio comes in fine, video is more like a slideshow.
Ah Paul, you were correct - I wasn't giving it a chance long enough. At first, it starts out incredibly irritating, then a few minutes (or seconds more likely) later it becomes normally viewable.

I can play things, but I can't seen to get it to fullscreen.
double tapping causes the video to pause.
trying a long press shows me the various little options on the right side and bottom, one of which is the 'fullscreen' button that I can't seem to click.
Other than that it plays, jumpy at first but it smooths out.

Yeah there's no full screen (as there was in Flash Lite), it just "zooms" in so that it fits the screen (though it doesn't always work).
Adobe also changed it so holding your finger on the screen = mouseover now, rather than a click right when you first touch down.
got it! thanks.. works pretty well for now... fullscreen would be nice

Yep, if you double tap the Hulu video, it will only "center" it on the screen.
The Full Screen button on the Hulu Player works but it is VERY difficult to hit.
But I've figured out a "strategy" (haha):
- Scroll down the page so the video is no longer showing, and zoom in three times via the +/- buttons.
- Then scroll back up so the bottom right corner of the video shows.
- Tap on the video to get "into" the flash (so finger presses are registered in the video player).
- Then tap and hold on the video for mouseover, click on the full screen button, and voilĂ ! FULL SCREEN HULU!
From this:
To this:
Is there a way to save these settings for individual sites (like just hulu)? or is this across the board for all sites?

Tap notification bar to scroll to top in any app

Ever since my switch over to Android a few years back from my iPhone 3G, I've always been waiting for such a feature in Android that will give me the ability to tap the notification bar and instantly scroll back to the top in any app that requires scrolling. I've never once asked for this feature once until now. I've Googled it and it seems to be a rare topic. Do Android users know if this such feature? Because it seems like an easy concept and assuming wouldn't be difficult to incorporate a mod into Android... or would it?

Used to like that feature on the iphone a year back. But don't you think that it is also possible to just flung one time and the whole page goes up? In iOS the flings are not continuous. To me at least. I would love to have this though.

I agree, that's one feature that android is sorely lacking.

Yes, that is what I have to do now. But when I'm reading a long article, flinging up on the page 20 times gets old.
I think Apple would sue Google if that feature was intriduced to Android
I think the new Samsung Galaxy S 3 has an gesture with scrolls in any list to the top. You just tap the top of the phone twice.

you better try to experience this feature, then decide it's natural or un-natural.
in general, 1 side: users have to swipe many many times to come to the top of the page; another side: just a tap then done(just like the home key on PC) - smooth and easy. Think and compare

N edition huh? you shouldn't encourage the EU to do stupid things like that, N stands for nerffed edition in my book, here have windows which we made only without some of the bits we made because we have to give you a choice not to use them which you don't have too anyway and are free to everyone else, so just in case you don't want the things you didn't pay for and wasn't forced to use we have had to make N edition
You've clicked or tapped on "all music" right on top of pictures. Hence you are IN music.
