What languages will be built in ?

Hi!
I am wondering what languages will be likely to be present.
I just sold my iPod Touch and did find the Japanese input to be very good. I am hoping the same will be available for The HD !
On my TyTn II, I use CE-Star and have used Asukal's software, but I do hope Japanese is easy to 'call up'!
Any opinions welcomed !

Why not flash your phone in japan's ROM

Hi,
I was thinking that, and yes, done a lot of reading but not flashed a rom before.
I am not sure if a Japanese rom offers full functions. I think the Japanese EMobile Kaiser is not fully functional and has many things disabled.
I do not necessarily need the menu's to be in Japanese.

Russian Keys ?

Back on my Diamond I used to have Golumn keys, is there such an fix for the HD at all or would even the ones for Diamond work?
I don't really want to try and see in case I have to re-inst my phone totally, only just got it the way I like it but I do need to have Russian input.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Uhum there is a tool called FingerKeybord, That has almost all Language in it, and u can install it on you're phone,... that you have russian input (for messaging and i-net and other stuff )...

I also need russian keyboard.
I tried a lot of external keyboards, but I don't really like them.
I have got [Dutty's WM6.5 R7 M2.5 Thriller] and there a new Manila 2.5 present.
Does anybody have .cab with new Manila russian keyboard?

Also used to have EZinput 2.1 on my Diamond with a nice EN/RU switch on a button... i miss that keyboard very much..
I am using the latest ENERGY rom on my blackstone. Tried all sorts of keyboards including FKB - didn't like it.. I am now surviving with a ru-en swype...

HD2 Arabic Support

Anyone successfully arabised their HTC HD2 yet?
I tried installing the TSD_MOBIDIV_416_AR_DEC3 cabinet file, and although it installs, it seems to slow the device to an unusable state. Is there a later version that works with the HD2?
I bought my HD2 in the UK.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work either! Seems to hang the device after installation.

Guys, Is the device available in KSA? I couldn't find any store in Riyad that has the HD2. I am willing to buy ASAP. If you can guide me I'll be thankful.

Taiseer- I was surprised myself, as your CABs are normally reliable. Admittedly I also installed the Imaginet Arabic Keyboard, Qur'an and Dictionary. It's possible one of these could have caused the problem. In the end, I had to rebuild my device!

Yes, I found this Qur'an and installed- it works fine.
I tracked down the problem to the version of the Arabic keyboard: Touch_HD_Keyboard_VGA.

Shukran! How about the Imaginet version of the Qur'an?

NASA has started selling it from this morning. I purchased one from them earlier today, looks great but they don't have Arabic support available yet. They told me they'll be testing the Arabic software and will call me back when it's ready.

How much did you pay for it ?

I also purchased the HD2 from NASA, Al-khobar. Its with English ROM....They will have Arabic Version once HTC releases Arabic Rom officially...It might take few months...
I paid 3399/SR.
Its an amazing device indeed and very fast...

Installing Korean support on Windows Mobile 6.5

Hey guys, I know some of you who wants korean support on their Rhodium (Touch Pro 2, Tilt 2), so I decided to post what I found.
First, you will need to download 'Korean_font.cab' and install it on your phone and restart.
Second, you will need to download 'moakey2.0.0528_wvga.cab' which lets you type korean (hangul) between apps.
Third, test it by switching other input methods, when you select moakey, it will let you set up... try it, and if you ever want to re-set up, goto start-settings-personal-input-select moakey from scroll-options.
I've tested on my Rhodium and it works great. I love it!

i still have no idea why the microsoft did so stupid on fonts... do they forget 'smart'phone users are quite smart?

Yea, I had a diopen for a day and couldn't use it... try it and see if it works, I thnk it should work on your phone as well...

Thx so much for the input , was finding all day for a korean input that wont interfere with asuka's atok ime! It works great! now i have all chi jap kor with ime workin on the phone

would that work on Touch Pro? I would assume I need VGA keyboard...

Installed on Touch Pro (WM 6.5), it works but need VGA file for keyboard... can anyone knows where I can get this? Searched but found nothing...

Hello, I downloaded the cabs to my HTC HD2 and it works great. The only problem I am having is that i can not use korean font when using HTC messages. I think someone mentioned it on another thread but nobody has respond to that quesiton. Any solutions?

Thank you so much! This seems great so far! I LOVE the handwriting recognition! Is there an English help file or similar on how to use these inputs? I don't speak/read Korean but am learning. Intuition has only taken me so far, and I have many questions. Please, any help is greatly appreciated. My 2 daughters were born in Korea and our family has been studying Korean culture/language with local Korean churches over the past couple years. Being able to efficiently enter Hangul while using Google or Bing translator would really help us out.
I have tried using the korechithai (perfect for Pocket Esword Bible) + kbdkorean route which works, but I can't figure out the efficient way to properly construct syllables on the Korean keyboard. Anyone know of an English help file or similar?
Today I set aside time and found/tried the following website:

It too is promising, but I can't backspace (maybe due to all these inputs interacting or the registry file?) and still don't have any English help file to teach me how to use the inputs properly.

i saw in the big MUST HAVE thread that it is posible to instal swype on my PRO2. but the link there wasn't working it give's that the file was deleted does anyone know how to get swype on my PRO2

Is this what your looking for?
Heres a cab I have. For some reason though it will not change from the default one to the swype keyboard until you complete the tutorial. If you try to just switch it to the swype keyboard, it will just show the default one. So you have to do the tutorial. This "glitch" also applies to the swype that is cooked into a rom (like mine). If anyone knows a work around feel free to pitch in but I think its a minor inconvenience considering how great it is. It also does require some training for swype to work efficiently. Any more questions feel free to ask.

This is what i have on my stock t mobile touch pro 2 running windows 6.5 it appears to be the same size as the other two but hey worth a shot.

All of those cab are from the Samsung Omnia.. here's the one that works! it came with TMo HD2 with a matching HTC skin. works great with my Tilt 2

No Tutorial
This is the version of Swype I've been using. Used it for a while now.
No tutorial needed, so there's that. It may be an older version, I don't know.
All I know is I haven't had to do a tutorial.

On NON-WWE ROMs you have to move the swype folder from your locale program files folder to /Program Files/.

Question.... With this cab, if you softreset your TP2, does swype stay as the active soft input keyboard? This was another problem I had with the cab I posted.

anyone trying to install the swype cab u must install to your device & to make it your default ketboard use sipchange app works great I LOVE TO SWYPE ON MY RHODIUM BEST KEYBOARD HANDS DOWN !

I've just uninstalled some of Livven's SimpleGloss themes thinking the sudden freezes were the problem on my Rhodium (touch pro 2). The only thing left to uninstall since the last issues is the Swype keyboard. Anyone else having issues?
This is so sad because I was really enjoying Swype. It made email writing so much easier.
