Would it be possible to make TFL3D work with a .gif picture? so that we could have for an example fire wurling around like a background on all tabs? this would really be cool!
good idea...I was thinking same thing. I think it would use alot of battery power!
i was thinkin about this the other day, with all this 3d stuff shouldnt be hard

sign up and do some homework..u'll see that one was created already
also i suggest u search the forums before making threads like this..
i signed up and looked,i want to make it with other to make look more beautiful
beginning-4 tabs, for weather tab for better looking can be used iphone theme for weatherpanel
there is one in the throttle forums already but, we need to get better icons for that setup. besides that, its a really useful setup cuz its not just icons
i can help, but those setup is not working on my (i have 0.9.3)
as mike21 stated..."its not just icons"
thats a key factor here..it seems to be that alot of these iphone themes are just icons which is cool and on the money so to speak..but alittle too much on the eyes if u ask me..
i, as well as countless others, enjoy a today/home screen..with a background picture rather than the ladder..a bunch of icons leading u to other places..
so maybe u may want to keep that in mind..when creating your theme
i mean..keep the iphone look and feel..but add a twist..to make "your own" diffrent from the rest

yea, using plain icons really suck big time. what needs to be done is the same thing that gullum did with his setup but keeping the iphone look by keeping the bottom 4 icons static and use them to open different pages within the setup so you have the iphone look but have a lot more functuality in the setup rather than just launch icons

This is a must have for the diamond if someone could make something like this
There are so many things coming out for the fruitphone, i hope the same will happen for the diamond. And this little gadget is really cool.
Lol! Funny little guy...Want one!

Why does everything have to be useful?
i want that stick man DEAD!
Funny, that would be cool on the diamond
2D physics simulation, spring physics, probably OpenGL rendering for the sake of speed, Fast Fourier Analysis for the dancing part... Very much possible on the diamond - but none of these things I've done before But I don't see how this would not be very much possible on the diamond...
The only thing definitely NOT possible is the stretching-part with two fingers - since the diamond's screen is not multitouch capable.
Just my two cents ;-)
Alex
This is usefull... if you have no real friends you can use this one Real cool funny app want it on my diamond
So u mean dChalky (for diamondChalky)??

Yeah but a REAL one rather than a Photoshop version
i know... maybe we can ask someone over here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426244
Having their source code would be a HUGE kickstart for someone taking on the dChalky project - they already do have physics - although it seems like they don't have spring dynamics in, yet...
Well its been a long time and no Matrix hype anymore. So i was thinking with the new touchflo and the diamond hologram app perhaps incorporate those 2 ideas into a menu. So basically the touchflo background would show the matrix letters and moving the phone gave the hologram effect, sound effects may be included lol.
Obviously it would be a battery drainer, but it would still be worth it. I mean with this new powerful phone the development can reach amazing heights.
Grate idea man!
Now the idea must be come a reality
Any devs wanna take a shot it?
would be awesomeee
This is a cool way to rotate your screen

it has been discussed on the forum before, but no one actually ported it or even posted a cab.....
Any idea how to get this on our TP2..... this would be really great...
*BUMP*....
that looks pretty cool I'd also like to see soething like this for our Rhodium if possible?
Cool! I want to see that also!
Pretty Cool. I was worried because the first two animation were very slow. The following ones looked good.
Anyone know of a .cab for this?
This is a cool effect wouldn't mind getting that for my TP2.
can anyone provide the .cab?
nice
that's pretty cool i would like to have it on my tp2 as well.
Same here. Same here.
Would love to try that out on my TP2.
I definitely would like something like that on my Tilt 2!
i need this like a junky needs a fixs
Know this is purly a cosmetic thing, but I would like this too. a lot better than the boring plain switch. Would love it on my TP2, as well.
Yea I'd have to agree 1000% that this is definitely bad ass!! It makes for real nice eye candy and cool transitions to say the least!! I wonder if this is actually something that can be ported over or made into a cab to be installed to our touch pro 2's?? It's funny to see this thread b/c I've always wondered about this since seeing it on the Omnia way back when it was released so im really surprised the port of that software hasn't made it over to XDA!!?!?! Perhaps it can't??? Let's hope I'm wrong and this comes to fruition
bump bump bump it up!
Bump Bump.......
yeaaaaaaaaaa lol lets get this ported baby, I wish I knew how or even had the phone to lend a hand with this!! I mean ive seen more complicated things ported to our phones like manila aka tf3d which had to be one of the hardest things and also the xperia panels to name a few!

I think there isn't version for TP2
So i've been watching videos of both stock android (Nexus one, G2) and videos of the Desire HD rom with Sense on other devices. Something that's become quite apparent in the sense rom is that HTC decided to strip a lot of the nice animations that make stock android pleasing to the eye.
Examples include, when you open and app you get a zoom in effect, and when u close it u get a zoom out. Also when the keyboard pops up it sort of slides from the bottom. Another is when you open the app tray, the icons fly in.
But on sense there's no animations. Everything just appears instantly. That really is sort of putting me off Sense, and that's a big disappointment considering i like the look of HTC's widgets.
Has anybody else noticed this? What do you think of it?
Agree to disagree...
...
Must say, you are right, but aren't the guys from Cyanogen Mod going to do something about that?!
CyanogenModders only work with stock Android, so whatever magic dust they decide to sprinkle on the DHD, it will not have Sense in the mix
Next week is looming large... Im gonna take a day off work to show my new baby some love when it arrives)))
I had a nexus and the zoom's are really nothing to write home about

Im sorry to say but you are wrong. If you go to the display settings and under animations set it to 'All' you will get keyboard sliding animations, screen transition animations, the only thing you dont get is a 3D effect with the app draw, but it does slid nicely into view from the bottom and is just more professional. However as mentioned previously its android, customise! Add all the animations you want!!

could u tell me what all the options are? thanks
The Desire HD Sense has a fade in/out effect by default for both Sense tabs and applications unlike older Sense versions ... its actually very pleasing and runs smoothly on HD2 so definitely will be awesome on the actual HD
Animations are nice eyecandy, but everytime they play you have to wait till they are finished. After some time they'll only anoy me. I am happy with as few animations as possible, so I turned them off. Just my humble opinion.
