Most easy way is to set it to view only Speed Dial contacts.
Open Phone > Menu > View > Speed Dial
Don't know if you can disable Smart Dialing trough the registry.
Been since WM5 where I had to do that
there must be a way.

Hi, I've just bought a K-Jam after to owner of JasJar. I've a problem: device does not have smart dialing software installed. I.e. I cannot use the keypad to find a contact directly pressing the numbers in the keypad.
I saw in tha manual that in order to activate the option you have to tap Menu > Smartidialing Option. The problem is that if I tap menu I DON'T have the voice Smartdialing option. Can anyone help me please??

Voice Speed Dial - Voice Tags for Speed Dial
I am using a XV6800 and I can not get the voice speed dial short cut button on the upper left side to work. When I push it, it saids "Error opening the shortcut or locating the target file name" Can someone help? Thanks

Hello to all, been looking around for some time and have joined the group.
Lots of great information here thanks to everyone sharing their information.
Does anyone know how to set the Call History to default to "all calls" instead of to "missed calls"? Have looked at into the regestry and do not fine anything to change, am I missing something?

I did it on my Sprint Touch by going into Call History, i.e.
Start > Programs > Phone
and then tapping on the call history icon, right above 3 on dialpad. Or, bring up cube side with 9 mugshots, or however you want to get to Call History. Then, once into call history, I simply tapped:
Menu > Filter > All Calls
So that a check mark appears in front of All Calls.
When I get an SMS the screen does not wake up and I only get the incoming SMS sound.
In addition is there a way on the device will wake on SMS and display a preview (like on my old KJAM).
This was nice since I didn't have to go to the SMS page to see the sms and could quick reply.
You have to change a few things in order to make it work like you want it to:
1. Wake Up on new SMS
Use a registry editor and change "HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIN\RIL" "DisableSMSWakeUpEvent" from "1" to "0"
2. To display the preview you have to do two things:
a) Go to settings -> personal -> sounds and chose "New SMS" from the popdown menu. Then activate "show message" (I'm not using an english ROM so I'm not really sure about the name of the box you have to check)
b) Go to settings -> system -> TouchFLO and deactivate the third checkbox from the top (which should say sth about status windows)
...or install HD Tweak

First. How I can completly disable incoming call screen? I mean screen with slider and avatars. I want to use my favorite soft S2U2, but with this screen I can't do it.

To change the email sig go to the emails> menu>options>signatures
Select the account you wish change the sig for from the drop down list> type in your new one and click OK in the top right hand corner.

When you enable the S2U2 CallerID function it automatically disables the HTC Sense incoming call screen.
To remove the email signatures: Mail tab > Inbox > Menu > Tools > Options > Signatures

But Q. about S2U2 is still open. I've set CallerID but when make calling I see both screen, default and screen from S2U2 in background.

Ive tried to use CallerID in some difference combination, but incoming call screen still there.
What I need to do that is screen disable for full time?
