I have the HTC Diamond with the theme of Orange. This is a ROM version 1.93. Unfortunately, I can not go back to the original TF3d. Maybe someone knows how to change themes? Thanks to greet

I have installed Diamond TF3D Config 0.6.7, unfortunately, from 1.93 ROM this program does not work. It can be any other solution?
try disable tf3d from home, use config 0.6.7. to restore original theme, re-enable tf3d... i have 1.93rom and works.

it works for everyone else so read the thread for that program
(yes i know its a long one) and follow the instructions.

Was the Orange theme there when you bought the phone?
if it was u can't 'go back' to original TF3D!
If It was the original TF3D when you bought the phone try this...
Download Total Commander (phone edition, not computer one)
disable TF3D..
run Toatal Commander and search for *_manila...
when it's done searching mark all files and delete!
don't worry ... if u have original shipped ROM then the original manila files will be there after the delete...
restart TF3D (maybe softreset)

I've installed HTC Home customizer v1.0 beta 5 but when trying to run it I get an error, IndexOutOfRangeException for homecust.exe
has anyone managed to get this working on the original ROM?

I think that you have to install a newer version of HTC Home. HTC Home Customizer does not work with default HTC Home.
1. Remove HTC_Home_PPC_Blue from Remove programs if is there. If not, go to step 2.
2. Install sdkcerts.cab
3. Install Kaiser.HTC.Home.v2.0.814.722-schen.cab
4. Install Backlight bug fix.cab
5. Install HHCv10b5.cab

The name of the file does not mean nothing. Use it if you want to customize the plugin.

Please could you tell me if i could install this on the uk O2 orbit 2
im sorry if im being simply but i tried to install the cab files panosha listed and the kaiser htc home file would not install due to ïnsufficient system permissions"so i still cant get any of this working. please gimmi a hand if you can it would be much appreciated, ive already tried installing it on both the storage card and the device and deleating anything unneccessary but so far nothign has worked. again any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers

I haven't seen solutions for my problem in precedent threads so :
I can't make appear the image of the new themes I install... always the classic today screen from HTC ROM (HTC Black )
I can install new themes with TF3DConfig (the clock and icons are new) but the background of today screen always stays the same !
What can I do ??

you should search the threads as this has been discussed a hundred times and they don`t like you asking the same question on lots of threads , however the answer is that the background can only be changed by changing the wallpaper in the settings tab. the downloaded theme will either have a wallpaper file to use or use your own favourites.

I saw this advise !
I also saw that this tool can be used with every official Roms... so why not with this one ??? is it only a "legal" problem or is it because the tool doesn't really works with this rom ??

That is no longer an issue. There are many 1.93 rom users who have succesfully installed themes using the config tool. The warning only applies to a few custom made roms.

I'd like to UPDATE my Manila... I've seen for example the Version 1.2.34591.1.1813.6....
If it's possible can someone help me in Upgrading the Manila version....???

this will replace all manila files in your phone... so it will become standard theme...
correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is version 1.2.35348.2_1813.6
but, I don't think this is the best way to update your TF3D...
This will take up space on your phone,
and if you should use any custom manila or themes and decide to remove them... you will go back to the manila's from your ROM.
So I think the best way to update your TF3D is to upgrade to a new ROM...

Just dump the VGA bitmap and dll files from a chinese Diamond ROM[http://www.5dpda.com/bbs/thread-22603-1-1.html]
Cab modifed from phonecanvas qvga version[http://mbarvian.freehostia.com/2008...e-applications-cab-and-oem-package-included/]
Usage:
1. Try the [Diamond_PhoneCanvas Patch_Eng.cab] first.
2. If [Diamond_PhoneCanvas Patch_Eng.cab] doesn't work, try extract [Diamond_PhoneCanvas Patch.zip] to /Windows of your devices.
3. If it still doesn't work, try the new [Diamond_PhoneCanvas_full_Eng_without_battery_icon.cab]
Notice:
1. Doesn't work on CDMA ROM.
2. You should enable PhoneSkin.
3. Test on dutty's 3.6b Lite ROM.

maybe the problem is that we are using stock ROM's. I've found on some other forums other users experiencing this kind of problem, and all of them are using stock ROM's :S
I am using Dutty's 3.6b Lite.
Haven't test on stock roms.

how is the memory usage of this compared to the stock htc dialer?
Well, I found "phcanOverbmp.dll" can't be overwrite during installing.
I am uploading a new cab without this file.
just a recomendation
you can make the porogram rename phcanOverbmp.dll to phcanOverbmp.dll.bak and then place the new phcanOverbmp.dll in the windows folder..after a softreset we can then delete the phcanOverbmp.dll.bak manually
I renamed phcanoverbmp.dll manually, but again can't install. Same error
The new "Diamond_PhoneCanvas Patch.cab" have uploading. Have been tested on dutty's rom 3.6 lite.
I've installed it. Now testing...

Try the new one. My uploading speed tonight is extreamly slow.

I installed it, now i can't find it to uninstall!

But it is not necessary anymore cause i installed a new rom
If you installed a new rom then it was erased. Whenever you hard reset or install a new rom then everything you installed previously and all settings are erased.
