Still not working on my RUU_Diamond_hTC_Asia_HK_WWE_1.93.831.1>
Does not work for me. Device pretends to calibrate, but after calibration it's the same than before. I'm using original German 1.93.407.1 Rom.
Same here, starts calibrating, then says calibration completed and the 'bubbles' jump right back to where they were before calibration.

What ROM are you using and did it calibrate previously, that is callibrate, then save the callibration?

As my first post said your ROM ver should be 1.93 or latest. And you MUST softrest your Diamond after install the GSensor Calibrator.
After restart your Diamond you can go to Setting and find out the GSensor Calibrator.
You just put the Diamond on Table / Floor (You think is level) and then click the Calibrator Button. Then Done.
Doesn´t work for me like anything what I tryied Only time It was calibrated was with 1.37xx ROMt

No no this old ROM I was using approx 2 months ago, now what I got is 1.93xx (Duttys in my sig)
OIC, I'm useing SwiftBL WWE Diamond v6.5 Full w/(16Mb Pagepool) and have try the Original hTC 1.93 ROM is work fine.
I'll take a time to try Duttys V2.3a WWE in my holiday, Let's try

I never had a stock 1.93 ROM - you mean that on stock ROM it works without any probs??
btw: this Duttys ROM I got from yesterday n till now didn´t find any bugs

Yes, hTC has release a ROM update for Diamond v1.93 on July. You can check with your country hTC web site. Sign Up as Member is MUST before you check with hTC.

same features, no doubt the same problems.
very stable and fast, but so have V23, V24 and V25 (and probably the earlier ones that I haven't tried)
Not sure I like the 'new look' comms mgr (save as V25). It works fine, just looks funny.
I guess the beauty of Pham Quong's ROMs are that if there's something you don't like you can always go back a version or 2 - V23 is my favourite to date - or wait for the next one to come out. I don't read Vietnamese, but there seems to be some reference to V27 in the forum at PDAVIET.

Only issue i've found with this ROM is I can't select multiple emails in my inbox which makes deleting them a pain. Otherwise everything else is working

Me too.
Another issue i found is with GPRS Traffic Monitor, on soft reset it loses settings.
I have noticed that this rom has a smaller memory leak than previus roms.
making calls, checking mail (yahoo, hotmail, outlook work acount)
using cube, total commander,camera album, camera, excell, word, sktools, solitaire, destinator 7, pocketwakeup, contacts, googlemaps, calculator and i don't remember what other program,
all day working with those programs and still 54 mb free ram,
with previus roms only 44-47mb
also using ultimate launch with:
1 htc home & batterystatus
2 facecontact & bestbirthday
3 googlesearch & windows live
4 pocket weather
5 phone alarm
6 diferent shortcuts
sktools benchmark 236, same with previus roms
Wonderful ROM, but I have a crash with TCMP and IGO8 doesn't start!!!

Strange thing with this V26 and the same problem with V25. I cant make a backup with Spb Backup (v 2.0.0 build 3065) its begin nice but at the end it hang when make backup of registry..tested many times, allways the same result?!

I downloaded PhamQuang ROM 1.60.08.26 for my HTC Touch Cruise (Polaris).
Everything works fine, till the phone reboots and the display freeze at 0%. After some minutes i get an error [262] on my PC.
Please help me!!!

i don't use spb back up, but with sprite backup i never had a problem, i think it's better and faster than spb backup

How to install HARD-SPL does not work... I got an ERROR 246. But the phone is connected with the PC...
audio manager, windows media palyer can not play sound, and the system is the same..no sound...

Thanks I use a lot of rom parts from different rom the base rom was a viet rom and i think the dialer may be yours! Base rom habubi Some sonblack in there too

Odd, when it comes to the "Tap the screen to begin" when it first boots up it's not sensing me tapping the screen. I was looking forward to trying this ROM out.

Hi there friend i found out that it may be FTouchFlo that is the cause!! at screen setup, press soft reset 2-3 times and it will pass ok I am working on next rom at the momment but will remove FTouchFlo from startup MENU and rebuild rom and upload in a day or 2 lets wait and see If there are any other bugs so I can fix them at same time Thanks

Well, than you are lucky. The only reason why I decided to try your rom (i used exploude's 273) was that in your rom Office is absent.I use other soft and I do not need huge Office in ROM. So, I downloaded it yesterday, flashed and at least half an hour I tried to start it this or that way.Nothing. May be it was my bad luck or may be somthing else I dont know. But this is the true fact. So I downloaded BA_CE_OS_5.2.20275(Build_20275.1.3.3) on PDAVIET and now everything's fine. It's up to you to believe or not-I dont care friend.

Hi there I do believe you had a problem hence! comment about soft reset? and as i say I will fix the bug in a day or 2 and all will be OK

P.S. there's no dialer in landscape mode in the pdaviet rom
If you want to fix it, try resetting a couple of times, but you have to tap the screen immediately, especially on the "align screen". I did a couple of soft resets and it finally worked when i pressed the screen as soon as it loaded.

this is a fix release...sound issues should be gone...had to remove htc volume control is it still has issues...fixes minor gfx glitches...updated to lastest and probably final leak version of wm6.5.3 (29022)...will from now on work on unresolved issues and finalize rom...this will still take some time due to work...
updated physics engine and utask app by ultrashot...my thanks to him...
patched htc album to novsync, faster scrolling once cache is made...
removed no longer supported apps (my phone and marketplace)...if u need them install via cab...
Important Note:
if you have radio 1.65.xx.xx installed on your polaris, downgrade the radio 1st...
it will not allow you to flash any other ROM (i couldn't even flash official HTC ROM when i tried a ROM with that radio)
link 2 a radio that allows downgrade
There seem to be HR and MC losing data issues with some roms, so i recommend flashing a htc original rom and only then this one, before proceeding as always make a backup of all data before attempting to use this rom...
This is released as "WORK IN PROGRESS" so you can if you want, post what works/what doesn't...
in time i'll correct bugs and release when it seems fit...meanwhile i'll actively answer all major questions, giving all support which is always nice to have...hope you all like it...

NOTES:
You NEED HardSPL installed before flashing any ROM...
Don't forget to make a backup of all data before trying it out...
1st boot takes long time to complete...
Hard Reset after 1st Boot (when it gets 2 calibration screen) to minimize problems, this is always a must as most problems are do to not doing so...
use compatible Radio depending on what version you download...
3G an H are disabled by default for max battery...
some programs have been tweaked, so if you feel they are slower or got bugs, please report them...
support will be provided, here in this thread ASAP...
the (Beta) is due to the fact that wm65 is not released yet...
Tested incoming /outgoing calls... but cannot speak or hear...plus camera all black...change the RADIO to supported one...
2G dialer is made for portrait only

A: they differ in the drivers...as name says...one has opengl drivers and less 16Mb of ram because of them...the other has not and 16Mb more than 3D version of same rom...the rest is the same (programs/tweaks/customization)...and no you cant install P3D Drivers on non3D rom cause it will break compatibility...

A: simple answer...yes, thanks to gfxboost that is included. but at a cost of 16Mb of RAM for DDI drivers...so that means programs (some) can be crashing because of lack of...opera/youtube are 2 of them...but i also wouldn't call non3D slow at least wm6.1 wise...you'll be the judge...

A: You have the wrong radio version installed...change it! radio 1.59.xx.xx and above should work...
Q: Can i run manila 2.1/2.5/2.6 on my polaris?
A: Yes you could if someone made the port (someone like me)...but...you will never see it running simply because there isnt enough RAM/ROM to handle it, there are no fully working opengl drivers...and like so...our polaris simply doesn't meet the minimum sys specs to be able to fully run manila 3D...even if someone wanted to make the port...id just say: just buy a HD2! its cheap compared with the all work you'll have ahead...

must be some wm6.5 compatability issue...i didn't change anything there...
Everything is working fine for me!
1 thing. the sound is different then other roms. when i play music it is a bit low.. not low volume but sounds very low, no high tones.
ive installed wow srs hd and now its fine.
good job! will keep this for a while!
so it works without any radio upgrade.... if i not mistaken, it is the shipped radio version....

i also tested it and it was (and still is) working...
I have downloaded TranMinhMan's latest. But it looks like there is no need to flash that and test after the tests done as above by you people. Thanks. Now using pcarvalho's 6.5 with radio 1.58.32.33. (quick GPS not working)
Well, in the morning I've tested TranMinhMan's ROM, now pcarvalho's ROM. I've been using Win 6.5 since the first ROM I found and I must say, I'm delight with the progress so far. In TranminhMan, with 3.13 drivers from the total of 84 MB, I think free was around 40-45.
@pcharvalho: great great job. I'm using Radio 1.65.xx.xx and everything works fine. Indeed, video is working on Album. The battery drain ain't big, so I guess you enabled some power savings in registry. I installed a battery metter and works great.
Some suggestions for the next ROM:
1. Include KeyLock.cab for those who want to enable hardware buttons when device is lock
2. Include DeviceLock1.2.cab. It creates a shortcut to Lock function and this shortcut can be mapped to a hardware button.
3. WM6.5 Titanium Weather tab would be a nice addition.
4. SyncroTime is always needed
5. PIM Backup is always needed
6. Toggle Wifi On/Off: AKToogleWiFi.cab (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2868203&postcount=1) It creates a shortcut in start menu to enable/disable WiFi with one click. By the way, what is the default wifi protocol enabled b ? g ?

Hello, this is maybe a fix for quick gps.
Install an task manager and terminate then "QuickGPS.exe". After this step maybe you can start it. This was a Problem from previouse Roms from TranMinhMan, but after this step it wokrs for me,
Baybe this trick works on this Rom too. I'll test it later.

First i will say thanks to all the developers.....especially...to M-Amine..was the first rom i flash..to pdaviet (no polaris at this time)....and also a big big thanks to PCARVALHO.....best rom i try..
The ground i made a rom is...i don´t need and want the new m2d with flip clock and no call history....Inside my rom pack....is a folder with m2d version 1-3.......so you can decide what version of m2d you want....
The rom is a good mix of old and new apps... ( with opera 10 beta 2)
Edit: CHome with bigger photo tab and Lock device to right softkey....and in rom folder is special stuff for CHome..
and a new 100% battery
UPDATE: EzInput 2.1 or 1.5 + fullscreenplayer fix for play videos in Album + added the old taskmanager (it´s needed to close apps correct)

For Sync problems with outlook
I think i have it..... Have try it about 10x and it work for me...
the steps:
1. Disable the pop up for usb to pc
2. Restart the phone
3. in Active Sync/Windows Mobile Device Center-->delete all Partnerships....
4. Open Outlook
5. Connect the phone to pc (USB)
6. wait a moment-->create a new partnership
7. check the box for contacts
8. Sync
9. maybe a restart
For me it work perfect....please test it and give me a report if it work or not...

If you have problems after flash my rom....restart....flash Orginal rom + hard reset if you see the calibration screen after that flash my rom also with a hard reset....after a complete boot a soft reset

a whole rom in italian or for me in german is very complicated...because all programs must be rewritten...Sorry but for now i must say no...don´t have the experience... i think a italien wm6.5 rom is in polaris upgading thread..

Questions, suggestions and fixes
- Start Menu Background. To set Start Menu background the same as Manila background, go to Settings Tab, Wallpaper: select another image as background, after a few seconds click again on Wallpaper and set Default (as you will be asked). Now both Manila and Start Menu backgrounds are the same.
- MEGAOpal Home Tab. To update Weather on Home Tab: update weather on Weather Tab, then install this cab and reboot.
- 29007 builds. Volume Buttons. Wait some minutes before pressing Volume Buttons when you start up the phone. If volume buttons does not work, go to Settings Tab and click on Sound option: after the menu pops up the buttons will work. If pressing the buttons the device freezes, restart and try again. Overclocking the device can solve this problem (i use OmapClockPlus, attached to 1st post, set to 276mhz).
New touch flo (Manila 2D)
This ROM is good and extremely fast!!! It would be great if you can add the new touch flo for this and upload it too.... Even though the new touch flo reduces the performance just a little bit, it would be a awesome eye candy and completely worth it!!

I am glad of the positive feedbacks.
In the next days/weeks i will work on WM6.5.X, Iolite/Jade Manila, Mega Manila.
I want to give 3 lines of rom:
- OpalOplus (with Opal Manila), both WM6.5 and WM6.5.X
- OpalJade/OpalIolite (with Manila from Jade or Iolite), both WM6.5 and WM6.5.X
- MegaOpal (with Mega Manila), both WM6.5 and WM6.5.X
So you can choose between the lighter+faster Manila and the latest Mega...with also the possibility of a version in the middle.
EDIT:
Since Opal, Iolite and Jade EXT packages and Manila are similar...i decided to give only 2 lines of rom: OpalOPlus (with Manila 1.x and packages from all 3 devices) and MEGAOpal (with Mega Manila).

i am glad you like the rom.
New OpalOplus updated!!!
- Fixed some glitches.
- Now it includes Jade Manila (1.2.1913.1530): it is an evolution of Opal Manila with the same speed and some new functionality, like Google Maps.
- Updated EXT packages.
- Internet Tab now launches Opera 10.
- Overall better than 02jan version.
- It is highly recommended to upgrade to this version, since it is a major update.
The old version was fast...but this one is faaaster!!!
In the next days i will rebuild a MEGAOpal version, based on latest mix of Opal, Iolite, Jade and Mega packages.
It will be faster and consume less ram than the 7th jan version.
